I wanted something different saw this place with all these cars on my way to my hotel so I dropped in . I had a combo BBQ tips Hot Links and Wings . what a great surprise a real find ! The food was amazing . I live near Toronto and I will order before I go put it on Ice and reheat .It was soooooogood . if there is a Wilma , I want to say it was a huge positive surprise. I ordered a small tip which comes with Fries and a slice of bread. The order was stuffed into a small container with the fries at the very bottom under the meat and I got the butt slice of the loaf of bread, which nobody eats. Not enough fries for one person. Pieces of the barb que were tuff. what gets me is that this establishment ask for a TIP for carry outs when you pay for your order. Why should I tip, when it takes forever to get your order because they are constantly preparing to-go orders for uber eats and or Door Dash. so if you walk in, there will be a wait, no matter what time you go there. The sauce is very good, which is why I even bother going to Wilma's. There needs to be some improvement in the areas mentioned. read more

I heard they were good and finally tried them for myself. It was SLAP YA MAMA delicious!! We had full slab of ribs, small rib tips, wings, hot links & the fried catfish. When I say everything was soo satisfying & delicious; that Catfish..omgeee...so tasty n seasoned!! I ordered online, went in to pickup it up --had no problems. But the cashier was super nice and explained that she didn't think it was working as I showed her the website on my phone and it showed order was received it but when I try to pay kept bringing the order back up. I'm from California currently a Long haul truck driver I came to Holland Illinois looking for some great comfort food instead I found the most driest nastiest food I've ever eaten. In addition to this horrible experience I cannot express to make sure if you're going to order you do it at the facility this way you can place your order in, this way the order will be correct, although you might have to still spell it out to whom ever taking your order. This is a must location for ordering ahead. I tried calling several times prior to arrival and the phone just rang. They offer a large parking lot but many park on the side street and accompanying lot due to the popularity of this restaurant. I parked in the accompanying lot as the main lot was full. Upon walking in, the lobby area is rather small and not much space to provide social distancing. The line was nearly out the door after I figured out where it ended. I overheard many conversations with the check in that food ordered would be a long wait (over an hour). However, no one left after they heard about the wait. You order or check in at one window and pick up at another window inside the restaurant. The take cash and credit for purchase. I ordered turkey links only waited a short time (ten minutes). I drove twenty minutes home and the food was still very warm, and provided lots of flavor and the sauce was amazing. If you are in the area, do not hesitate to order from here, but first see if you can call ahead so you don't have a long wait. read more

1st time visit on this past Saturday 2pm, this place is on point! Ribtip/qing combo was well made, plenty of tips, 4 wings and lots of fries. Chicken is seasoned and cooked crispy like WE like it. We got food for the Super Bowl and it was amazing. I drove from the North Side of Chicago to try their Bar B Que. Our Menu: Chicken- Very good could of used less salt Pork and Turkey Tips-Amazing, Meaty, nice spice Hot Link- seasoning was really good. I didn't like the meat inside the skin. It tasted like breakfast sausage. Sauce- Tasty Customer service was good. I didn't give it 5 stars because the whole week we was trying to reach them because we had questions about the menu. We emailed and sent messages on Facebook. I got there i was told they don't take phone orders. We already knew that just wanted to ask Questions about the menu. Stopped in for the first time on a Monday (today) to try this place. Figured Monday was best because I had a taste for hot links and Monday is BOGO. Turns out Monday's special is just a ruse to jettison burnt hot links that didn't sell over the weekend. I'm guessing this is why most reputable BBQ spots are closed Mondays, lol...but not Wilma's, they take a certain pride in shoveling unfit for human consumption meat out the door two orders at a time. The bar b q is some of the best I've tasted in a long time and also their fried catfish has great flavor

It was just ok. It's a glorified JJ's chicken or sharks with ribs. Got the BBQ chicken. Was dry like it's been reheated from yesterday, and the sauce was a sweet baby rays clone or was the real thing. Smells soo damn good, but they don't have brisket .
