Buy a dozen get 2 free!

Winchell's donuts are always fresh and fairly priced. I love walking in and the aroma of coffee and fresh donuts just hits you in the face and makes you feel cozy inside. I always swing by this location to pick up donuts for my doctor's office when I have appointments. All donuts are buy a dozen and get 2 free, pretty sweet deal! Love that this location is fast and there's always lots of parking available.

I can see the bagel thru the thinnest spread of cream cheese ever! Don't be extra but at least average?

Customer service is great, you get a mom&pop feel when you walk into this business but seems they have cut down on what you get for your money. I know it's tough times all across the board (and maybe the employees are instructed to be economic by ownership?) but make me feel like I get a balanced purchase. The thick bagel was toasted great but it hardly had cream cheese, was it because I asked for open face? If I was told, I would've paid extra to have enough cream cheese spread for an opened face. I should've opened it before walking away and realizing when I got to work and it was too late to ask for more. You live and learn.

Been here more than the other donut places. Winchell's has always been one of my favorites since I was a child. My dad would would take me to Downtown Los Angeles location to buy donuts, while he would also buy himself a cup of coffee. I think there was only one sized coffee back then that comes in a regular styrofoam cups. Gosh, it smelled wonderful! And that's probably why I'm currently addicted to coffee of all types. Now back to my review. This location in my opinion is probably the cleanest, never crowded (when I go), and they serve fresh donuts. The donuts here are usually made in the morning by 9am, per the lady working there. She also says if they run low, they'll bake some more donuts. Yay! That's probably why they're usually fresher than other locations I've been to. Good variety of donuts, twirls, donut holes, rolls, etc. I like the fact that Winchell's always give two extras when you purchase a dozen for $13.99. So basically, each donut is a buck. But too shabby! This Winchell's is located in the same plaza as Pavilions. But the main entrance is on Lake Ave., But there is also a back entrance if you park in the back sharing the parking lot with the super market. I like this location, and will be back again soon.

Dozen doughnuts! Twists, Glazed, Lemon-Curd filled, Strawberry, Cinnamon, Maple Bar, Chocolate Glazed!

We arrived just after they opened at 7am and were quite literally the first customers of the day. Thanks for opening your doors to us! This place is such a unique blend: part hip-hop vinyl shop, part artsy cafe, and all-around good vibes. The music selection is top notch, and I loved browsing the cute merch and randomly awesome stationery items. Service was super friendly. My husband had a great conversation with one of the guys behind the counter about the shop's minimalist decor, and we learned Two Kids has been thriving for 10 years. I hadn't been in since right around the pandemic, so it was heartwarming to see they made it through and are still flourishing. The espresso was absolutely luscious, and as a bonus, we got the prettiest latte art with hearts in our drinks, big love for that! Really wish I had more time to hang out on the comfy couches in the middle of the shop and soak in some vinyl tunes. Can't wait to come back and spend a morning here the right way, highly recommended!

The popcorn chicken, fried tofu, and orange green tea are what I usually order. They make those very consistently so you know what to expect. It gets busy here when school kids are hanging out but if you are outside of those windows, it doesn't take too long. Service ranges from friendly to standard, so no complaints there. The one issue I have with them is they show a loyalty program in terms of entering your phone number -- if you order online as well as the register. But I've never gotten any points. I once asked the owner about it and he claimed that they do in fact give out items, and said he would check on it that night when I told him the situation. But he never actually asked my name and info, and I've still never received any points since, despite having ordered here about twice a week for the past several weeks. It's not a deal breaker but it's strange.

I love a spot with a lot of character, which is exactly what this place is. Vibes immaculate, huge variety of coffee/matcha drinks, and fresh food all around. I absolutely loved sitting outside and having fresh air with a great view. You are given a number at the counter, and your food is brought out to your table. Found seating outside but moved some plates ourselves from one table to another to find shade for us the kiddo. Grabbed a high chair and got seating set up. A few folks were setting up to play music out on the patio. We ordered inside as expected, thankfully the line wasn't too bad at that time so it went smoothly, though the prices are still higher than the average mom/pop sandwich place (but we anticipated this). We waited a bit for food while the patio band played. Ambience was pretty nice. Our friend's sandwich came out first and about 5 minutes later our food came. However, the Arnold Palmer we ordered didn't arrive with the food so we asked if they'd come back to bring it, and we were told they'd be right back. We waited probably another 5 minutes but drink still didn't come so I went inside to ask about it and saw the drink sitting on the back counter. So I asked staff if I could pick up the drink and they handed it over. Our friend's sandwich (the Jester) looked pretty filling while wife and I ordered/shared the Crown Jewel with cheese and mayo on the side. The Crown Jewel was pretty meh overall. Wasn't as stacked as the Jester and the bread fell apart as I ate it, despite the mayo on the side. At the end of eating someone came by to grab our order numbers and ask how things went. I commented on the wait for the drink and was told they couldn't find us, which sounded strange because they found us when bringing the sandwich and we still had our order number. But she said we could get a free refill. Since I wanted to take advantage of the refill I went inside to inquire but the order counter had gotten extremely busy. So I asked one of the bus/wait staff outside if they could grab my refill. He directed me inside and he commented how busy they were but I said I didn't want to wait in the huge line simply for a refill, so he offered to meet me inside to get the refill. Eventually I did receive the refill and we left. Overall, for the price of the food I felt the service was very average bordering on subpar, and the food was meh for the price. I don't blame the staff as they all seemed to be working very hard, but perhaps they were understaffed which would be more of a management issue. We basically bussed a couple tables on our own and waited what eventually amounted to 20-25 minutes for an ice tea/lemonade. I pre-tipped when I bought the food, which I kind of regretted but also felt bad that the employees were understaffed so I likely would have left a tip anyways. I don't plan to go back anytime soon. Wish the food and service were better
