    Thai Chilli

YUM YUM YUM! This place is soooo underrated wow. Small kinda hole in the wall in van nuys. We were recommended to try and I'm so glad we did. Thai chilli- kinda like sweet chilli vibes with a light kick! 10/10 Teriyaki- pretty standard teriyaki wings no fault hit the spot! 10/10 Lemon pepper- perfectly crispy , great flavors! 10/10 Ate them with rice (which should be on the menu) and it was great. Air fried them the next day and it was still so yummy.

Great food and great service! Got their loaded fries. I received it and completely forgot it had mozzarella pieces in it and was like "ohhh! This is a tasty surprise!!" We got it slathered in their house sauce, which was not too hot, but a perfect amount of sweet. Glad they were out here parked outside of Lincoln brewery. Going to have to try their bone in wings soon. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Update: got some of their wings (lemon pepper and Thai chili) and oh man! BDubs has nothing on these!

First time here. Was excited to try this place out cause I like chicken places. The guy at the counter was friendly and helpful, the place is tiny and pretty clean. The soda from the machine was pretty warm where usually it should be like at least a little cold. I got 6 wings -3 bbq, 3 lemon pepper and fries Wings were more or less edible but drumsticks were too overcooked and hard. Lemon pepper had less seasoning that I wanted. Cajun fries were good but the ranch sauce was horrible. Tasteless. Overall I didn't finish even a half of my meal. I would recommend owners to rethink they recipes cause it wasn't tasty at all and made me decide not to come back again

This is my order that I placed from this restaurant. I never received my order because this place was close ... please help

Attention: Michelle Villaclara and RaulMolina at wingmeupbundy@gmail: Unfortunately, to this day, I never received my credit. Unfortunately, after three months, I never got my credit. I decided to dispute the charge with my credit card company, and I finally received the credit from my dispute from my bank, not from the wingmeup. About 3 weeks ago I had a conversation with Julio Molina. It started off well, I asked if I could record the conversation he said no which is i respected his wished...within a few minutes of him talking. I just told him I wanted him to credit my account for $95.59 which at that time he said, "sweetheart it's only $95.59, which I responded that I didn't appreciate his condescending tone and calling sweetheart and saying that is only $95.59.. i than asked him to zelle me or credit and conversations was over.... It was never about the $95. Its just the principal....It was the fact that first: I placed an order never received the goods was told and by michele and Christina that i would be receiving a refund( never got the refund) ... very disappointing for a business to treat their their customers, especially being a small business. I know they have a location on 1523 W. Bundy Dr., Los Angeles so good luck if you ever order from this place don't expect to get your food or your credit if they messed up your order.

I've already been back twice to Wing Me Up because its was just that good.... Yelp recommended this restaurant to me. Of late some of the local wing establishments in my area have been raising their prices, offering smaller wing sizes, and low quality food. So I was excited to try something new. I walked in and was the only one in the restaurant on both visits. You can tell that this shop was still fairly new. The dining area was clean. There were three large TVs on the wall and everything looked new and not run down. I was greeted by friendly staff who you could tell was happy that I found them and came in to give them a try. The menu is big and easy to read at the counter. There is a variety of wing flavors, ranging from classic to creative combinations. They offer wing-in and boneless options. Also they offer different combos which offers wings, fries, and drink. The wings were definitely the star. They were crispy on the outside but still juicy on the inside. They were big in size and had a lot of sauce on them. The first visit I had Thai flavor and the second I had Buffalo, and they both were equally good. The fries are crispy and has seasoning salt on them. I liked their flavor, but the seasoning salt may be too much for some, you probably could ask for less of it. I asked them to separate my fries from my wings so the fries wouldn't be soggy and they were happy to accommodate my request. I ordered the 6 piece combo and it came out to be around 12 dollars. I couldn't finish my food in one seating because the wings were that big. I was able to take them home and have another meal for the evening. There is parking in the back of the restaurant, you have to go down a small alley to find it, or you can do street parking at a meter if you find some. I have definitely found my new wing spot and encourage everyone to give this new restaurant a shot!

Rating this place 3 stars not because the food is bad the wings are AMAZING but because of its service. I waited to write a review to make sure it's accurate. Wings have never disappointed but the service has. I've ordered 3 times online and each time there is an excuse as to why the food isn't ready at the time scheduled to pick up. First time I ordered they said that their order machine wasn't working, second time that they forgot to prepare the Mac n cheese and this last time that they messed up and prepared boneless instead bone in. Annoying. I'm talking about 25 minutes + extra waiting time. I make sure to order 1-2 hours before to give enough time but even that doesn't help (mind they are not busy at the times I've ordered) I hope they better this area because honestly their wings are so good and their fries are the best in the valley. Maybe eating their would be a different experience?

Wanted to try a different wing place so we can across this place. We got a side of Mac and cheese which had a nice cheesy flavors to it. Side of French fries which was a bit soggy and salty. Wings with 2 flavors and ranch off course. The ranch was a bit disappointing because it wasn't thick enough like ranch should be and the flavor wasn't there. Wings could have been cooked a bit longer as well. Service was friendly and ambiance was nice.

Not a piece of bread or muffin was included. Please notice the dry @$$ pulled pork? and I got 4 pieces of a rib tip that was the same as 1 maybe 2 real tips ANYWHERE else.the tips were chopped into 2-4 pieces from one full tip. So I really feel cheated and I was frigging hungry -hungry. The pork was dry and couldn't be swallowed without the bbq sauce and drink. She ordered a hot link with ribs and added a side of ribs for an additional $24. The sides came in a small container I had Mac n cheese and greens which every bite I was like wish I had cornbread to add to these greens. While she had greens and the sweet potato (which by the way was the best thing they had going on) the Mac was average I'm about to reheat and toast again before I hit send for this review. Reheated the side of ribs, greens and Mac and it's a bit better than the pulled pork, but this definitely isn't a bbq spot I'd advise anyone to go to nor would I dare try without bbq sauce and a lot of it. Dessert banana pudding last time I was here the desserts were pretty good. This tasted like the yoplait whips yogurts consistency and like knock of Nila wafers I was just sooo utterly disappointed.

Unfortunately, what should have been a nice experience turned into a very disappointing one. I sat waiting for quite a while and eventually had to wave down a waitress just to get assistance at the counter. The waitress, Margarita (aka Maggie), had a very unfriendly demeanor from the beginning. When I asked a simple question, her response and attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I even told her that I was willing to pay the difference if my meal exceeded the value of the coupon. I was not expecting anything special--just basic courtesy and good customer service. I honestly felt as though I was being treated poorly because I was using a complimentary meal coupon. If you are going to provide these coupons to customers, they should be honored with the same respect and courtesy as any paying customer. I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression. I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience. Not a happy customer. You'll meet Sylvia when you walk in. Sylvia made me feel as if I was there last week. The restaurant is well lit and has good ambiance. The bathroom was very clean. I chose crab cake as my appetizer. I would have loved two crab cakes, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I went to CF Food for their Beef Wellington, and I was not disappointed. The pastry was golden and crispy, with a gentle firmness at the base to bed the Beef. The Beef Wellington was perfect!! It was tender, cut through like butter and was perfectly seasoned, which awakened your palate. I don't know why I ordered medium. I should have ordered medium rare. Note to self. The pommes puree was firm yet smooth. I couldn't get enough of it. I think I licked my fork I was driving so one glass of Cabernet would do. I ended this spectacular meal with a slice of cheesecake. As you can see by my empty plates, I enjoyed my dinner. I noticed several couples on a date, and friends who fought over the check. If you're looking for a new restaurant to visit. I highly recommend CF Food Kitchen. By the way, Sylvia also said the Alligator was amazing. Guess I'll be back.

No complaints! Baked beans: Honestly, it's pretty hard to mess up baked beans. Very standard, traditional baked beans, good. Potato wedges: 8/10 Also kind of hard to mess up potato wedges unless they're undercooked or overcooked. They were seasoned too. So pretty standard tasting Mac & cheese: 3/10 I'm from the South, so there's just a certain baseline I reference when it comes to mac & cheese, and unfortunately this wasn't it for me. I would never order the mac again. Cornbread: 10/10 Southern girl approved!!! Collard greens: 4/10 Not a slither of seasoning but I got them together myself. Fish: The fish is actually why I ordered in the first place because I was craving some fried catfish. On Uber Eats, it just said "fish of the day," and I assumed it was catfish. It was, in fact, NOT catfish. I'm not sure what type of fish it was, but it tasted more prepackaged like something you would get out of the frozen section at the grocery store vs. freshly prepared, so I was a little bummed about that. It didn't taste bad, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I was also extremely disappointed by the portion sizes of the sides. They are VERY small, especially considering the prices. I would definitely keep that in mind before ordering extra or individual sides. I still gave them 5 stars because those ribs were so damn good that they made up for everything else. I'd absolutely order the ribs again!

I have been wanting to try the bbq here for some time now and I finally got the opportunity to do…read moreso. Big Pops is accommodating to dine in and take out but I will say it can get quite warm in there as you are eating which for me it was they do however have two tower fans for the guests when it gets hot but it was just me in there and so it was off but still I run hot and I was starting to warm up while eating. With that being said I think the service for what is worth wasn't too bad. This place is nice and decorated and very quiet other than the radio playing in the back ground for the cooks. There are a few tables inside that can seat about maybe 10-12 max and they do have a drink fridge for you to choose what drinks to get. The person helping me out was very quiet didn't ask me if it was my first time or anything like that maybe just the hello and such but he was polite but just not welcoming I suppose. Since it was my first time I didn't know what to get and I think it's my fault for sure for not asking more and engaging on what I should get because I only asked like one question about the Tri tip plate and stuff but I ended up getting that and I will say it's quite a bit of food but at the same time it can get pricey I paid about & $29 for the plate with tip ended up being $34 in total. It's about what you would expect from a barbecue place. So with the plate or any plate as show on the menu, you do get a small side of fries, a piece of corn bread and a small side. The small sides are about $2.99 for and as shown in my picture they are that small like a tiny ramekin like double or triple the size of what you get from a sample from Costco. So the fries are fries nothing special about them but they were fried well and it had a nice crisp outside when you bite into it and the inside was cooked right. The corn bread was spectacular in my opinion! It was moist and flavorful with every bite! I used it to dip into my Tri tip plate because of the sauce and it was great! The Mac and cheese I will say was ok. Barely any flavor and it honestly reminded me of getting Mac and cheese from the grocery store hot deli like Ralph's and Vons because the consistency and texture of it really felt like it was made the same way and flavor wise as well because there as no flavor now with that being said I will say maybe my tastebuds were already saturated and nuked by the sauce from the Tri tip (which I'll get to a moment) and I couldn't appreciate the Mac and cheese as well or tell if it was salted or peppered or something. But to me it was pretty bland Mac and cheese like I wouldn't pay for it as my side. Now I will say that's the only side I got I didn't buy the others which I regret because maybe those sides were the ones you should be eating like the baked beans or collard greens which is the more essential sides of any barbecue eatery. So definitely the Mac and cheese was a miss for me and next time I'll get the other sides instead. Now the main course which is the Tri tip. I loved the Tri tip it was nice and tender and you get about 10 ounces and in the photo I have it's a lot! But I will say this, there are people who love wet barbecue and dry barbecue I'm a person who loves the dry barbecue as in only into dry rub and stuff I dont mind saucy meat but an over abundance of sauce just ruins it for me and this was the case for my Tri tip. In my photo you can definitely see that it is heavily drenched in their barbecue sauce which by the way is very flavorful no doubt about it! But it was so sweet and so saucy also it wasnt spicy as I had the option to choose from regular or spicy but there was no indication of spiciness at all. Like maybe I'm just used to spicy food but whatever is meant to make that spicy didn't really shine out and that was a big disappointment. I'm not really into sweet foods which most barbecue sauces are sweet or very vinegary based. This is very sweet and very acidic like my mouth was nuked. But the Tri tip itself was amazing! But my plate had too much sauce and it was too sweet and vinegary like I could swim in the sauce is how saucy it was. No matter how I felt about my saucy Tri tips that's how you're supposed to eat it as is because that's how they made it and it would be a disservice to do so differently. With that being said over all the food was great except for the bland Mac and cheese and heavily sweetened barbecue sauce all over my Tri tip other than that it was great.. Again if you're not into eating super saucy barbecue or you're a dry rub type of barbecue eater like me then I would warn you again that it gets saucy here hahaha at least for my plate. I'm still gonna come back because I'd like to try their other stuff and also it's a local business and helping support them and any other local business is great! So for me it's 4 stars out of 5! Thank you again! :)
