    Mongolian chicken
    Jaclyn W.

We came here yesterday to give this place a try. They have a lunch special which is under eight dollars. You get your protein, rice, and an egg roll with it. We tried the Mongolian chicken, which was really good. It kind of tasted like it was in a gravy sauce. I did enjoy it. The sesame chicken was a little bit inconsistent. I did enjoy the flavors, but some pieces of my chicken were very hard . The crab rangoon's were really delicious. They have a parking lot and take cash or card.

I'm new to the neighborhood, and was wondering which Chinese restaurant to choose from. I decided to take a chance with Wing Wah. For my first time I wasn't disappointed. The customer service was good, it was average wait time for the food, which wasn't that bad. The waiting area was clean, the eating area doesn't look inviting, but they do have a couple of seats for you if you want to dine in. I tried the sweet & sour chicken w/ egg roll lunch special. The lunch special was fresh and hot with good flavor, with a good size portion. It was enough to have seconds, if you didn't want to over stuff yourself. I will be back to try other selections from the menu, so I do recommend others to check them out as well.

Family Run, fresh fast and delicious as always!!! I had to work so couldn't be with my family but I'm so thankful for the owners and their kids working the counter today for my delicious Christmas dinner!!!

I've been coming here for years. Love their food, except their egg rolls for some reason. I usually order sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fried rice and steamed broccoli. Delicious. It's the standard pick-up only, quick service, fast food spot. Good portions, decent prices.

Genera Tso Chicken with side of egg roll and crab rangoon

Good fast take-out. My father-in-law lives near this restaurant. We ordered on a Friday evening. We ordered the combos which included fried rice and egg rolls. For the house we also ordered a (6) Crab Rangoons. I enjoyed the General Tso Chicken. Would order again and add broccoli and carrots. Favorite was Crab Rangoons. Didn't enjoy eggroll, actually gave my husband the other half. He ate it. Others enjoyed the three meat delight, which us named after the restaurant.

Delicious Chinese food. Heaping portions of food that are bursting out of the cartons.

This is my favorite Chinese place. I have been going here since the late 90s, and it still is the best Chinese I've ever had.

Hong's Chop Suey - Almond Cookies

Date: October 29, 2025 at 2 PM…read more TL;DR: Good food, kind staff, but a few mix-ups along the way. The shrimp fried rice and broccoli in oyster sauce were delicious, and the almond cookies were a nice surprise. However, the cashew shrimp missed the mark with literally, no cashews; and the automatic 10% gratuity caught me off guard. Still, I'd go back for the fried rice and broccoli, just with a bit more attention to detail next time. Food: 4/5 The food overall was great, though not quite what I expected. The shrimp fried rice was made extra spicy with chili oil, a flavorful twist I didn't see coming but really enjoyed. The broccoli in oyster sauce was fresh, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. The almond cookies and fortune were a sweet highlight. However, the cashew shrimp was a miss. There were no cashews at all, and the dish itself wasn't prepared in the style I've had before. Because of that, I wouldn't order it again, but I'd absolutely come back for the fried rice and broccoli. Customer Service: 3/5 The staff was kind and polite over the phone when I placed my order and answered all my questions clearly. Pickup was quick and easy, which I appreciated. However, when I got home and realized the cashews were missing, I had to call back. They apologized but didn't offer a solution beyond suggesting I still try the dish. While they were friendly, it would've been nice to see a bit more accountability or an offer to make it right. Ambiance: 3/5 This is a classic takeout spot: simple, straightforward, and designed for efficiency rather than atmosphere. There's nothing fancy about it, but they're quick with orders, especially if you call ahead. For what it is, it serves its purpose well. Special Note: After checking my receipt, I noticed an automatic 10% gratuity was already added to my total which was something I didn't realize until after I had also tipped another 10% at pickup. So I ended up tipping 20%, which isn't typical for takeout. Just a heads-up for anyone ordering, double-check your receipt before adding an extra tip. Also, there were no utensils included in the bag, so make sure you grab some if you need them. Overall: Hong's Chop Suey has solid food, kind people, and quick service, just a few small misses that, with some extra care, could easily be improved. I'd return for the fried rice and broccoli any day, and hopefully next time, the cashew shrimp comes with, well... cashews.
