They wrap the hoagies individually and then place them in a container together. My hoagie also came with a small individual serving of chips. I ordered this with it in mind that I would give my husband one of the hoagies. Timing wasn't too long between order and the to-go being ready. I ate my first hoagie in the car on my ride back to the home. It wasn't messy and was deliciously seasoned with condiments. I believe it was the corn beef. Yum. We also enjoyed turkey ham and turkey hoagie. The bread was just right not too soft and not too tough. However it held up with the Italian seasoning applied to the fresh veggies. All-in all, enjoyed my hoagies. If in the area again, would try the Italian beef or one of the panini. I had a solid hour drive home so I didn't think those would hold up in the car or be easy to eat in the car. I did. Like that that they had a tuna melt and those are my jam.

I had wanted to order a flight, but every seat was taken, so I had resigned myself to ordering a single coffee. Luckily, a couple people left, so I was able to secure us a table. I would have been very disappointed if I hadn't been able to order the flight I came there to get! They have amazing flavors, I LOVE that they do flights, and their food has been decent. I only wish it was a little more spacious and quieter.

I never intended to end up at Wings and Rings, but I was helping my ex-boyfriend organize his house and, I guess as a thank you, he brought me here. At first, I was a little leery because his taste buds are VERY suspect. I honestly don't think this man knows what good food is. On top of that, I was thinking, "Great, now we might run into one of your little girlfriends who possibly works here and drama is going to unfold." And yep, one of his little girlfriends was indeed working. This was on a Tuesday during the wing special, which immediately made me suspicious because of his cheap ass bringing me on a promo day, but I decided to dig in anyway. The restaurant itself was super clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. Now let's talk about these wings. I ordered 10 traditional garlic parmesan wings and let me make this abundantly clear. They have to be in my top 3 wing places in Chicago. The portions were huge, the wings were fresh, juicy, and absolutely packed with flavor. Not a single complaint here. When we came in, the restaurant was pretty slow, but the service was impeccable. The restaurant is clean and spacious and yes, the bathrooms were spotless too. BWR is a great place if you're looking to have a night out with the family, or just wanting to get out and have a few drinks with some friends and have a good time . The atmosphere is great because it works both ways its family friendly and opens up to the night life. The employees are always so friendly and helpful.I have yet to be dissapointed about the service there, always a positive visit. This is a great place to go before and after sox games, it has a shuttle bus that brings you to the sox game and even back from the game.. for free!!!! They have excellent drink specials daily, and tuesdays and wednesdays 49 cent wings ,how could you pass that up? The boneless wings are especially delicious! Really good variety of flavors to choose from, and i see people have complained about not getting enough sauce, well i have to disagree with them but if thats the case spare the extra 50 cents and get them extra wet.. This is a great place to go to on Monday to just relax and eat some food, or Friday and Saturday to drink and have a little fun. I def. recommend this place to any one who is in favor of meeting energetic friendly people, watching sports, eating deliciious food, enjoying a relaxing night out with the fam, or having a few drinks with some friends. read more

I'm in agreement with what seems to be the point most of the reviews are trying to make. This establishment is ok but definitely could be better. Their is potential and for some reason or another it's not being operated to it's full potential. People come here and they should find a way to improve on things that can be improved on. I do like the amount of screens, anywhere you look you can keep an eye on a game and stay entertained. I feel the food itself is what it is supposed to be, a slight grade or level above what bar food is considered, however that does not mean that that's where the food should be. The food, although I consider it a little better than bar food, should still be made to the best if their abilities and cater the customers as best as possible. I like coming here to watch Bulls and Blackhawks games, everyone is in to the teams and the environment can get pretty festive which is good. As long as we remember it's a place to watch sports, drink and have simple bites, the expectations can't be too high. I will say that my first experiences with the waiting staff was bad, but they certainly seemed to have addressed the issue on that. Can't wait for Bulls season starts to go catch a game and enjoy some wings and a beer! read more

As a long time Bridgeporter I am astonished on how many poor reviews there has been about this place. This neighborhood has been lacking an establishment such as BWR for years and all people can do is come on here and blast it, GMAFB. The food is comparable to bar food all across the city and they offer great specials on food as well as drinks all throughout the week, even during Sox games. The menu is extensive it covers pretty much everything from burgers to a mouth watering pulled pork sandwich. The wings seem to have more flavor than the boneless, try the "crazy" sauce Extra Hot with some Bleu Cheese. The pricing is probably out of the control of management considering they are a franchise, but when the most expensive item on the menu is 12.99 for the delicious hog wings which are their version of BBQ ribs it really is very cost-effective for all to enjoy. The service is very friendly and very efficient if you need something just ask and it will be taken care of for you in a very prompt manner. All in all BWR is a great place to take in any sporting event with your friends or for a nice casual night out with your family. I see they also have outdoor seating now which will be great with the warm summer months ahead of us. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with our server, Alexis, during our visit today. From the very beginning, the service was uncomfortable and unprofessional. When I asked if they had Coke (as in Coca-Cola products), he responded with a joke implying drugs, saying "yeah I got coke" and laughing. It was inappropriate and not well received by us at all. Things only got worse from there. When he brought out my partner's Sprite, the cup was visibly dirty. My partner politely asked for it to be switched, but instead of acknowledging the concern, Alexis dismissed it by saying "oh it's flat," completely ignoring the issue. There was no apology, no effort to correct the mistake properly, and it felt like he was placing blame on us rather than taking responsibility. The lack of basic customer service and professionalism made the rest of our dinner unpleasant. It truly felt like our experience didn't matter, which is frustrating when you're spending your money expecting at least decent service. I strongly recommend better training for staff, especially when it comes to communication, respect, and handling customer concerns. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had, and I will not be returning. read more

Stopped here after a game and was totally suprised!! It's great! The neighborhood has needed this for so long! The wings were good. I had the boneless crazy mild. I noticed some folks are complaining about the wings...but if you listened to your server, they are made differently then BWW...and better!! I loved the sauce! The drink specials were great considering they are down the street from a ballpark. I've paid $7 for a beer in Wrigleyville, and never hear anyone complain about that. $3.50 in Bport is reasonable, for sure!! The outdoor patio is fantastic! I'm suprised there are complaints on here about this place....I guess some neighborhood locals are just 'haters' on anything new. I'd much rather eat here then some dingy, gross neighborhood dive that will also charge me $3.50 for a beer. ...and I'd need to disinfect myself when I left. Wings and Rings is legit. I typically go there about 3-4 times a month, and the food is really good. It's really nice, because it's usually open late -one of the few food places outside of White Castle and Maxwell Street. Also, I saw a post on Yelp about the traditional wings at BWR vs. BW3s. All I have to say is the traditional wings at Buffalo Wings and Rings are EXCELLENT. I don't know what happened to other people's but I order them every time I go and they are really good (I've also been to BW3s tons of times, I'd say BWR's traditional are better). If you're looking for a place to watch a game, or you want somewhere to stop in late at night for food, Wings and Rings is definitely the place to go. Also, I posted on here I didn't like the 21+ only policy after 10 pm and they changed the policy! So, if you are 21+ you can now go to BWR after 10. Thank You Wings and Rings! read more

I have been to BWR a few times; the day of their opening and a few times since then. And, I must say...why all the negativity? I will admit that on opening night the service was slightly slow, but the staff kept my glass full and the food was hot, correct and most importantly, tasty when it came. Another night I went and met people there (I was of course late) but the waitress didn't skip a beat. She almost immediately aknowledged that I was new to the table and took my drink and food order and my food came out with the rest of it. Also, the bar is great. I am a vodka drinker and the selection is excellent. I was like a kid in a candy store! Also there is always something on special. And it helps that the bartenders are compentent (and cute!). Overall, I give it an 'A'. If your in the area, even if you're not, stop by and check it out! I know I will be back. read more

i have a problem with the wings..they dont have that much of a flavor to them. dont get me started on the sauces either...they taste like crap. everytime i walk into that place i feel like im being watched. one time one of the managers gave me a hard look...probably because i was with a big party and we looked like a whole bunch hoodlums... and majority of the time they take forever with your food... Management REally needs to get things 2gether... i was really hoping this place was going to be something special...but it just let me down. I dont mean to sound so shallow but they should hire some pretty girls, not those rude skeezas they have now...except this one pretty waitress Diana she always takes care of us when we are there. What a great place!! The free valet they offer for white sox games is absolutely great. Along with the great beer specials the free valet and shuttle save me a ton of money at sox games. The food is really good. I love that the wings aren't frozen. It makes a huge difference for chicken. Just a little tip: look at the bones on the wings and if they have big black marks on them they are frozen. I've never had a frozen wing here!! The absolute best thing about this place is coming in for college football! They have bucket specials for beer, and all you can eat wings for $9. For a big guy like myself, thats a great deal. For those of you who like to knock this place, go watch a game at Mitchells. Just try not to get beat up there...... read more

My wife and I eat here just about every homestand during the White Sox season. We especially like the fact that they have FREE parking and a FREE shuttle to the Cell. We would much rather spend $25 on food and drinks to keep us full during the game vs renting concrete at the Cell. Our experience with the food has been very good to date. Our favorite appetizer is the gyro quesadilla. Our favorite wings are the Hot BBQ Boneless wings. We also really like the Gyro sandwich, very tasty! Overall, we give this place 5 stars for both quality of food and service. We have been here over 10 times and have never had a bad experience. I was here to watch Sox game and it was great...exactly what the neighborhood needs. I hate the small, gross dive bars around the stadium. This place is huge! There are TV's everywhere, and it was so much fun! The serice was good, and the food was yummy. I read some of the other reviews, and I think people forget this place is a bar, not a steakhouse. It has bar food, and darn good bar food at that. The atmosphere here can't be beat- the place was packed, and everyone was really into the game. The jukebox was playing all the great Sox anthems, and everyone was singing along. Ch. 2 news even came here to do a broadcast about the game for the evening news. The atmosphere is great because it works both ways its family friendly and opens up to the night life. The employees are friendly and helpful. This is a great place to go before and after Sox games.It has a shuttle bus that brings you to the Sox game and even back from the game.. for free!!!! About 3 months ago we visited this place and I am finally getting around to writing my review. Here is my story...... We were seated at a table near the bar by the hostess. After that we waited 15 minutes and we never saw a server to get us drinks, give us menus or take our order. I walked up to a manager and told him but he didn't seem to care. We walked out. Very disappointing because there isn't a lot of places to eat in Bridgeport and this place appeared to have potential. Had an awesome Monday at Wings and Rings in Bridgeport. Kids eat free and no reservations needed! We were seated right away with a White Sox game playing, which set the perfect family-friendly, sporty bar vibe. I kicked off the night with a $6 Tito's drink and enjoyed their weekly drink specials, while my mini me dug into a cheeseburger and fries. I went for the 10-piece traditional wings with a side salad. I went in to Buffalo Wings and Rings several times in the last three weeks. I am not much into the "cooperate look" of some bars but I can say that this place pleasantly surprised me. I am moving out of the area, and to be honest, I am sorry I am losing this spot. All except once I sat at the bar. The Table service was ok but the bartenders are great. Nice ladies. I was in the neighborhood and knew about this place from a few of my buddies that have White Sox season tickets. They said they park here for all the Sox home games and it's always FREE, another WOW! I happen to stop in on a Tuesday and to my surprise, all wings were only 59¢. I ordered up some Xtra Hot Sweet BBQ Boneless Wings with a side of their Saratoga Chips and they sure were tasty! The place was packed we came about 9:30pm the regular tables where closed on one side of the place. Had to sit high up with high tables to eat. Hated it. Servers were ok... They seem to serve Hispanics first kind of odd that it was so many there. We ordered a strawberry margarita and tequila mango looking drink which looked ok fair. I really don't understand how people are giving this place one star. This place is easily one of the best wing spots in the city, and it's really ridiculous Wingstop is rated higher. Chicken is always fresh. Place is open late. Lots of TVs for watching the game. Prices arent too bad. There is almost never a wait time to sit. Parking is fine. The "unforgivable" part? They forgot the sauce. Without it, the mediocre seasoning stood out even more. You also get very few fries for the price. Uncle Remus might be okay for an occasional chicken fix despite their price hikes, but save your money and skip the BBQ here. 2.65 stars.
