    Boneless Wings Fried
    Lesley M.

Another great experience with this franchise and probably one of my favorite wing restaurants now. It took a few minutes for a server to reach us, and I think there was an issue because of a large party. The server we were originally assigned was not happy to have to take our table and went to complain to the hostess. Another server took care of us and was very friendly, but wasn't the fastest at table service. I went with the boneless Cajun wings that were delicious along with a side Caesar salad. Probably the best boneless wings in comparison to a few other restaurants in the area. The chicken was juicy and packed with Cajun seasoning. Our booth was clean as well as the restroom. Great experience minus the server dramatics.

I love wings, and this franchise has some of the best garlic Parmesan wings in my opinion. This particular location was not the best at providing service that day, but I think it's because the servers were overloaded with a large party. Our food tasted great and arrived in a timely manner, so nothing to complain about on that end. I'm not a fry person, but their garlic aïoli fries are amazing!

Lemon pepper wings, with a side of blue cheese, celery and cranberry juice.

The garlic parmesan were a perfect mixture of the two and unlike most places they don't over do it.

Inside the layout is two level - upper with the bar and some seating and then a lower level a few steps down. Lots of televisions as with most sports bars and they also offer Keno. We seated ourselves at a high-top table and didn't have to wait too long for service. I ordered a draft IPA. It arrived with a nice head on it and the hazy orange tone I expected. Taste was good - citrusy and hoppy - but it was not near cold enough. Tap beer in the USA needs to be served cold, unless you're talking about dark porters and Irish ales. I ordered the Sportscasters Burger, medium, with mustard, pickle, lettuce and onion and a specific instruction to hold the tomato. What I got was everything (except ketchup or mayo) including the tomato. No big deal, it's easy to remove. The burger was done appropriately to medium and the bun and presentation was attractive. I would suggest a double burger as the patty is a bit thin. The burger was good, nothing spectacular. However the Crinkle Fries were on another level. They were perfectly fried, crisp, and yet soft within. From the looks of the exterior, I think they're using beef tallow to fry. I'm a "fry connoisseur" and I can confidently state that these are some of the best crinkle fries you can try - don't pass them up! I'd seriously consider going back just to get the fries! On that topic - "going back" - I can't say it would be high on my list (other than for the fries) but I wouldn't rule it out. Sportscasters rates a three-star based on the total experience. Without the fries, I'd be at a two-star due to the lukewarm tap beer and the thin burger patty.

We got a seat within 15 minutes. The place is nice and cosy and clean with a variety of seating. It's small but cosy Hubby and I both ordered blackthorn soda. We ordered fried okra as appetisers , then i ordered shrimp grit with a side of cornbread and he ordered chicken tenders with waffles. Food was hot and delicious. Everything was delicious. Corn bread was a little dry. But they had drizzled it with honey. Overall we will definitely return!

The initial thought was wow this place is small. But they make good use of the space. They have a small bar with seating and a couple high tops nearby. In the main space they use a few high tops along the divider and a few 2/4 seat tables. We each had a blackberry thorn soda which was quite nice with good flavor. We ordered and shared some okra and I had the hot nashville chicken on a waffle (hot) mac and cheese and waffle fries. Everything tasted very good. They did not dissapoint. I guess my only not so good thought was the Mac and cheese wasnt worth the up charge as a side.
