Went there yesterday for the first time....Excellent food and service. Everything made to order. Not that fast food junk. Orange chicken...wow....you really taste the orange. Stopped in during break from jury duty. Owner opened the doors early for me...immediately gave me that hometown reception I was looking for. Gotta admit I wasn't expecting much from a small town like Banning but the Wonton soup was delicious! Tasted like authentic homemade soup with good ole' American standards in quality. I'll come back just for the soup but when the owner said he's been there 30 years, I figure this place has gotta be doin' something right. Dying to try more... If you're tired of the Panda Express fast food, or the common 2 item combo's I would highly recommend trying this place. Wings is our favorite, in fact the only place we go for Chinese food. We make the trip from Redlands, and we have met other patrons there that drive farther than us to get to Wings. From their authentic chef LOL- Michael, to Midori, our fav waitress, you can't beat them for freshness or price. We often order takeout when heading to the desert for camping, so we don't have to cook the first night, but then end up eating as we drive because it smells so good. The food is always consistent, no bad nights. Wing, the owner usually works the room personally greeting everyone when he is there. Don't show up on Karaoke night because we don't want the competition in getting a table. read more

The owner and his wife are always a treat to speak to when you are lucky enough to run into them, beautiful people. Fresh, delicious, and always amazing food! Best Chinese food restaurant! The food is so flavorful and always hot. The service is great. The owner frequently checks on his patrons to ensure they are satisfied with their meals. My husband and I travel 45 minutes to enjoy the food. We have been coming here for the past ten years and have never been dissatisfied. I love WINGS - and not just for their Chinese food - which is quite good. I am addicted to Wing's Chicken Fried Steak. It's more tender and flavorful than any I've had anywhere else. He really pounds it thin and fries it crisp and the gravy is really good. It comes with soup & salad, mashed potatos or rice, vegies and a roll. It's enough for a couple of meals. This is my favorite place to go when I come out to visit my mom. read more

Best almond chicken ever! The Wing's Special is also delicious, and you can even order it gluten free. Usually always order by phone for the office and is ready in 10-15 mins. They forgot the rice to all of our orders once, so they delivered them to the office, which was nice because I didn't have to take another trip over there. Very friendly staff also! read more

Food was great. Obviously freshly made which accounts for somewhat slow service. Since we happened to be there on karaoke night at least we were entertained while waiting. Pot stickers were very full and flavorful. Hunan chicken was a perfect level of hot and had lots of vegetables. Missed not having hot and sour soup on the menu. Ive been eating here since I was little. The food ia fresh and really good. It may be expeanive, but you can't find quality food like this anywhere else around here. The owner sometimes checks up on you to see if everything is okay. Also despite the common misconception, it's not just a Chinese place, but it's a cafe. We just are crazy happy to find Wings! We love the walnut shrimp, moogaipan and we always order the same dishes, as its so tasty. We've only been twice, since we're not always in town. Our waitress the first visit was great, on the second visit the waitress was not very cordial almost seemed irritated, perhaps her day was not going well. My husband and I tried this place out after going to a movie at the Fox. We will not be back. I will start this out by explaining that neither of us care about decor, ambiance, or restaurants looking old. In fact, one of the first things we noticed was that they still have the sign on the wall delineating the smoking/non-smoking sections. We both thought that was kind of charming. Then I saw the lipstick on my glass...Then I noticed that my hands stuck to the table...The waitress took care of the glass issue and wiped down the table after we asked, but stuff like dirty glasses and unwashed tables should not be things that have to be pointed out in a restaurant setting. Those are just basic cleanliness issues and should be a given. Aside from that, the food was...horrible. I ordered sweet and sour pork, and what I got was fried pork fat. There was absolutely no meat at all. It was like they trimmed a roast and took all the trimmings, battered them, fried them, and covered them in sauce. I ended up taking all the pieces apart to see if there was any meat at all, and I found none. My husband had the orange chicken. It tasted like eating a fried orange soaked in oil. Neither of us ate our food, and when asked if we wanted a box, we politely declined. When we finally got our bill, we waited and waited and waited without the waitress making any more visits to our table, and we were one of only 2 occupied tables in the whole restaurant. Maybe she knew we weren't happy and thought she wouldn't get a tip so why bother? I don't know, but we weren't blaming her for the food issues and would've tipped her generously if she'd actually come back to fill our drinks or even take our payment. We ended up just leaving money on the table because she never came back. Thank God we had cash because I don't know how much longer we would've had to sit there. Bottom line, we paid almost $30 for food that ended up in the garbage and left extremely hungry. read more

Me and my husband have been looking for a place to enjoy a traditional sweet and sour shrimp. This is the place!! You get the crispy battered shrimp. Made with their own crispy and fluffy batter. Topped off with a sweet and sour sauce made from an old family recipe and pineapple chunks. It was delicious. read more

The Chinese food here is great. It is probably the one of the best Chinese restaurants that I've been to in Southern California, and is as good as many of the authentic Chinese food places in LA's Chinatown. My only complaint is that their American food could really use some work. But with reasonable prices for good Chinese food, you really don't need to worry about the American foods. read more

This is really good Chinese food. It is by far the best in Banning, and would do well compared against El Lay Chinese restaurants. We eat there at least once a month, and love it. I wish they were in El Lay so we could eat more of their great food. About the only thing I don't like is the sweet and sour pork, which is a little too sweet and soggy. However, in fairness, it was take out that time, so it might have been better really fresh in the restaurant. read more

Sorry to say, the only thing I can complement this establishment on is the very attentive and pleasant waitress who served us. This was AWFUL! I don't know if the short-list American menu stuff was better, but we ordered Chinese. Shoulda known we'd made a mistake when we walked in the door--looks like an eighties coffee shop, no good chinese cooking smells in the air, no chinese decor. But...we were starving soooo, we ordered one of each to share: spring rolls, BBQ pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken. The rolls were deep-fried way too long, served with mustard and a horseradsih-laced catsup,weird! Everything tasted like it had been poured out of a can or a frozen-food box. Yuck! To add insult to injury it cost over $30. We could have done better at an ubiquitous Panda Express. read more
