I have been a regular customer for several years, and have been very happy with this establishment. On my most recent visit, however, that all changed. The orders took extra long to be ready. I was quoted 30 minutes when I called my order in, when I arrived I waited an additional 20 minutes. The counter person was overwhelmed and totally unorganized.Then when checking out, I found out that their prices had increased, substantially. $14 increase in the same item (wings) just 3 weeks prior, other prices increased also, it was posted on their new menu board, but they didn't have new takeout flyers printed yet. I've been going to this restaurant for a number of years and for the majority those years the quality has been good and the price has been great. However in the last 1 to 2 years the quality has really dropped andthe prices of increased. In particular food portion size has decreased. If you're a fan of gyros, these are delicious, humongous and cheap! With Covid, we order online and then go in to pick it up. There's always a bit of a wait, but not too much, and it's always worth the wait, anyway. My daughter loves their BBQ wings; my son likes the grape leaves. I was looking for a late lunch and stopped in here on the recommendation of some friends who raved about their gyros. Ordered a chicken gyro platter (fries and salad) since I don't do lamb, and some feta cheese to put on the gyro. The price (8.95) seemed pretty reasonable for that much food. I took the food home, only to open it up and find that my chicken gyro was actually a regular gyro sans feta. Yeah, shame on me for not checking before I left, but I was pretty disappointed. The fries did not survive the commute well, so beware for folks taking carryout. The salad was pretty good, but the lettuce was pretty brown in spots and slightly tinny tasting. When I called to let them know that they had given me the wrong order, it took four attempts to call before they picked up. Once I had them on the line, they apologized halfheartedly but that was the extent of it. I'm sure their gyros really are spectacular, but I don't think I'll be returning. read more

We used to be at least twice a week customers... my husband and kids LOVED their wings!! And I loved the pizza (even though once I bit into a piece of class on my all meat pizza, luckily we we in the restaurant when it happened and the issue was quickly resolved one of the reasons why we used to love it so much) But Apparently they do t comprehend what BONELESS means... we ordered boneless teriyaki they messed up and gave us bone in so we called and they gave us a $10 discount on our next order, ordered again today hoping to get boneless teriyaki wings... yet again BONE IN!!!! Beyond disappointing. My husband and I ordered some garlic wings tonight...we wanted something quick and easy to nibble on for dinner. One could assume that with a name like "Wing Station," the restaurant might have some bragging rights when it comes to wings. Yeah. No. Eager to avoid an uncomfortable wait in their tiny dining area, I called ahead, and was told that my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. When I arrived 20 minutes later, I patiently watched an incredibly uncomfortable transaction between a boorish couple and the young man behind the counter. Errors were made, the couple was upset, and the young man made no effort to appease them. While the couple waited for their order to be corrected, the young man took my payment. I then proceeded to sit and wait while he angrily wrapped up the couple's correct order, and then angrily helped another young patron with her order (an order that he had also failed to correctly fulfill). A minute or two after the second patron left, I approached the counter, and explained to the young man that it had been 40 minutes since I first placed my order. He smirked, and asked, "What was the name again?" Given that he never took my name over the phone, and given that he just took my payment about 5-10 minutes prior, I found his flippant response to be incredibly frustrating. I felt horrible that the couple found it necessary to have a Jerry Springer Show meltdown in the middle of the restaurant, but he wasn't making it any easier on himself by treating the rest of us so poorly. After he mentioned my order to a co-worker, I saw a man dump a basket of wings (that had clearly been sitting in the basket for some time) into a white, translucent, and moldy looking bucket filled with yellow grease. A few minutes later, I was walking out the door with said wings and grease. No apologies for the wait. No "thank you, come again." Just a nasty styrofoam box full of overcooked wings, several cups of moldy grease, and a prepackaged sandwich bag of celery. Thank God for the celery. It was delicious. read more

I've had food from this place a couple times and it was subpar which turned me off from it. This past weekend however, I wanted some good, local chicken wings so I went on the hunt with the help of Yelp and google. This place kept coming up first so I decided to give them another chance. I'm so glad I did! The one alarm chicken wings are some of the best I've ever had. I got the large chicken wing combo which comes with 10 wings, a nice amount of crispy fries, and a pop of your choice. It was so good that I went back 2 days in a row! Even if there are tables you should still carry out, that aside the food is good. The wings are great my favorite is two alarm jumbo. The gyro is well prepared as well with lots of meat and great flavor. My significant other doesn't care for the hummus but I think it's ok, not great just ok. If you want a gyro, this is the place to go -- hands down. Best gyro in town period. They're huge, they're delicious, and they're always made fresh. The chicken subs are also fantastic...crispy bread and fresh grilled chicken. Not bad for a sub-$6 sandwich. The pizza is as close to authentic NY style pizza as you can get in Toledo, but it's inconsistent. Sometimes it's perfect, with a doughy crust that has just the right amount of crispiness on the outside, and a good amount of cheese/toppings. Other times it's way underdone and a bit mediocre. Check it out before you leave and let them know...the staff is pretty friendly and they'll make it right if it's not up to par. The wings are awesome! They're HUGE, inexpensive, and fried without any breading (the way I prefer). Get the medium or hot sauce as the mild sauce has no flavor at all. They could use a remodel at this location. The boyfriend and I always get the boneless wings. He enjoys the 1 Alarm sauce, which is delicious a buffalo sauce. I recently tried the garlic, which is a thinner garlic butter sauce. Because I like a thick garlic sauce, I can't say I'd choose this sauce again, but it was more enjoyable than most garlic butter sauces. Highly recommend the fries- they're perfect! I received an incorrect order. I wanted extra sauce on my gyro and received none. I called to complain and they offered a $1 credit. I told them that was unacceptable and i wanted a a credit for the full amount. They very reluctantly complied. I returned the next day to get the credited food, since I knew it would be a hassle. It was. The owner immediately and rudely questioned me as to why I had a credit and said that I should only receive a credit for the extra sauce. I told him it was completely unacceptable and he disagreed. He then called the employee who gave me the credit, in front of me, proceeded to scold her, told her never to do that again, and hung up on her. He then told me I did not deserve anything and said it was "bad business." I told him it was bad business to not credit me. He quickly made the food, very poorly with almost no chicken. I was extremely insulted, disrespected, treated like a thief, and never received an apology for their mistake or how he treated me. The owner is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. This is our go-to local place for gyros and Greek salads. Good food prepared quickly and at a reasonable price. Chicken gyros are tasty.
