Wings To Go in the Queen Anne Plaza, Fairless Hills, PA, is part of a regional chain of wing, burger, rib, wrap houses in the Bucks/Mercer area. They are clean, friendly, and reasonably priced for what they offer, and tend to be better than many of the other franchised wing-a-do shops around. I was there to grab a chicken sandwich and order two dozen wings for home consumption by the boys. I ordered at the counter, and walked into the dining area to await my light lunch. It arrived in a plastic basket, open faced, with a lightly coated breading on a large breast. A squirt from the ketchup table rocket and I was in business. It was a tasty chew, and I was pleasantly surprised by the thin coat and clean taste. Old oil was not used, and it was prepared just in time for me. Even the roll held up well to my gnawing assault. I brought the Asian Zing and Suicide wings home, and sat with my guys as they attacked the flaming appendages. Average sized wings, but with decent distinctive sauces that pointed out their relative advantages. The Asian Zing were hot, but with a Thai sauce sweetness to offset the conflagration. Liked them a lot. The Suicide were less forgiving, and stung all the soft membranes of the mouth and lips. They were okay, although number one son seemed to be more enthusiastic about them. To each his own. Both came with small containers of "sour cream." It wasn't, but they did chill the burn a bit as meat was scraped from bone by our incisors. Word to the wise, have your own sour cream in the fridge for such occasions to avoid unnecessary burn and blister.

I've been to very few places where the wings were so so bad. This was one of those places. Lemon pepper was super oily and disgusting. Had to throw them away. And they smelled...I won't ever go back there.

    No cheese on a cheesesteak

Ordered two cheesesteaks and mild wings, wings were overdone with barely any sauce, and both cheesesteaks did not have cheese. Please view the pictures. They used to have a good food I don't kno

Nice place. I've only had buffalo chicken items, but they are always good. Was very upset first time I got boneless wings because at first glance they looked like big ol' bone in wings (see my pic). I assumed they got the order wrong. Nope, they were just really big boneless chunks and have that irregular shape that real chicken has. I was expecting the little round "wonder which part of the chicken this is?" shape. If you're into processed nuggers' from fat good places you won't like these. These are the real deal! They also always give you more than you ordered. Last time my 24 piece had 31. I'm a sucker for BW3 sauce but this place really exceeds them on the actual chicken part. Tender, juicy, great texture, always cooked right and so far never greasy. Also they have different size dressing cups. The large one is huge. Since the boneless are so big and they give you extra ones, you might want to get extra so you don't run out. The larger containers are easier to dip from too. Staff is also super nice. All the ladies at the counter are sweethearts.

Every time I come here, I always find myself ordering the chicken & cheese quesadillas and curly fries. I don't really like ordering quesadillas when I go to places cause they always skimp out on the meat & cheese, but this place never disappoints. The half order comes with 4 huge, stuffed quesadillas which makes the tray so heavy, and the curly fries come hot and crispy! The full order comes in a pizza box lol. My boyfriend orders wings, both bone-in and boneless and never had a bad experience. They get pretty busy on the weekends for dinner, especially when any Philly teams are playing. Definitely recommend trying this place out!

1 Rack BBQ Baby Back Ribs

Ordered a rack of ribs for delivery. Seriously AMAZING!! Fall off the bone, juicy and full of flavor. I'm extremely picky when it comes to ribs! Totally took a chance with delivery too, but I was craving ribs. Will definitely be ordering these again!

Really love boneless wings! Wings To Go it's a great place to eat in or get carry out. It's super easy to place an order especially if you download the app. We always get bang for our buck with the cheap family meal deals and the variety of options with lots of different flavors.

Took ~45 minutes to deliver, wings were small and very fatty, sauce could barely be considered sauce, more like water.

I have always overlooked this place as a dive bar but I was genuinely surprised. As the windows allow natural light to fill the large open dining area that surrounded the bar. While their menu is very limited to all the standard bar fare and spirits. It was served fresh. The smash burger topped with bacon jam tasted like it was fresh off a charcoal grill (in a good way) the buffalo chicken cheesesteak had a good amount of heat and the meat and cheese ratios were on point . The Buffalo bites were equally tasty and I have a strong feeling the blue cheese dip was homemade. They do offer weekly events like bingo, karaoke, quizzo. I think they may have live music events as well. Our server was friendly and kept the libations coming. All in all a big surprise for a place I have overlooked so many times. Last time I was a kid all I remember was a meatball sandwich. That and the sawdust on a shuffle board table. This time, I saw the game is still there along with the bar and kitchen. A second bar area was added on. We walked through to another large dining area addition where we sat at one of many large tables. I ordered the ham and cabbage special and a side of fried pickles, and went back to the original bar for an Irish beverage. Everything was tasty. Thankfully, nobody pinched me for not wearing green. Hopefully it isn't another 40 years before my next visit!

Five Four Bar & Grill has a large U shaped bar, stage for live bands, pool tables, booth seating,…read moretable seating and an area to have a catered event in a private room. They can hold 20-500 people for private events according to their website. The inside is dark and could use a bit of a refresh, but I wouldn't say it's close to the level of dive. It's certainly on the larger side compared to most bars in the area. The staff has always been nice, but service can get slow when the crowd size grows. Just the nature of things. Food wise the menu has a typical mix of pub grub - apps, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and several entrees. A friend was eating their jumbo Buffalo Shrimp off the starter menu and raved about them. I stuck to a Cheesesteak which was average but a deal at $9.50 -- the chopped steak was decent, cheese was good just needed a bit more. Hot peppers gave it some kick and the long roll was fresh. Their beer menu has around a dozen beers on tap. They dabble in more mainstream big beer/craft beer like your Goose Island IPA's/Lagunitas IPA, but do have a decent show of locals like Yards, Victory, Troegs and Weyerbacher. Bourbon wise I had a Knob Creek neat which was average price wise. The pour was on the generous side. Each time I've been here the crowds have been friendly and having a good time. The band we listened to was great and the sound was crisp. Five Four is a family friendly grill during the day and a fun place for adults later at night. Thanks guys!

We did have the initial CASH ONLY shock before sitting down, thankfully there is an ATM next door, but that's always a bummer. As for the menu, the food is simple American comfort food, with a dash of potato pancakes. The price is very reasonable and coffee is nice and strong. We decided to get the 2-2-2 special which was French Toast, eggs, bacon for $8. And everything was tasty and extra crispy bacon. I won't give this place a full 5 stars because there was nothing that really stood out from the menu, it was solid but not mind blowing. The place being cash only is also a huge factor; they seemed annoyed I wasn't ordering quickly (there were only 2 other tables there on a Tuesday morning).
