I'm a huge fan of Wingstop. It was my go to back in Texas whenever I wanted some good wings. When I found out this location was near me in West Seattle, I was excited! I got what I always get, the 10 piece meal with two rolls. I always go with the garlic Parmesan and mild wings, and it never disappoints! Naturally something always gets messed up in my order but it's something I've come to expect. This time, they left out one of my dips, they didn't give me my soda, and the rolls were crap. Did I notice this when I got my meal? Nope, naturally the universe has a way of making to not notice these things until you're half way home. Well word around the campfire says that this joint is owned by Richard Sherman. He's better at life than me so I'll choose my words wisely. My wife and I frequent this joint because it's relatively close to home. Though I don't think there is anything here that will floor you I have to say that the staff here is always pretty friendly. Yeah yeah like the other reviews sometimes that do take a little while to get your food to you and I'd like if they cleaned their lobby a little more but all in all this is a pretty solid operation. I've never had any food here that I thought was anything less than adequate (shrug). I like the mango habanero, lemon pepper, and barbecue wings. Last night I placed an online order for a family pack of 75 wings around 7pm. The online system said it would be ready at 7:29pm. My husband got stuck in traffic and didnt arrive there until 8pm and they still were not ready yet. I am removing a star for that. I previously was underwhelmed by my wing order from their Tukwila location. This time I ordered them to be extra crispy and that made a huge difference. I highly recommend you do this. I ordered the fries extra crispy as well but they were still soggy and nothing special. Skip the fries. I ordered too many wings so I had leftovers for lunch today. Went and asked what was going on and Kevin, the guy who came in, was so apologetic and refunded our money, with a smile on his face. I ate here recently expecting the 2nd coming of the Wingdome. This is not the Wingdome. While the wings themselves are pretty good, the restaurant is more of a takeout joint. Basic counter service, and a layout like you'd find at a suburban strip mall --there are maybe 5 tables inside. I'd give the wings 4 stars (decent crispiness, lots of sauces), and the fries are good too, but I have to subtract points for the lack of atmosphere and the long wait. The chicken strips were also soggy. Bottom line, if you want wings for your Super Bowl party then this is a better choice than dominoes or the grocery store, but this is not a restaurant to go actually hang out at. read more

I love wings. I do. Wingstop has never been my favorite -- Wingdome is far superior, but it's close and once in awhile it hits the spot. Until last night. Service at this location has always been a sub par. You can order online but when you show up to actually pick up at the designated time it is almost never ready or there is some kind of chaos. Saturday night it was cold, rainy, and we ordered for take out. When I showed up to get the wings, of course they were not ready on time, there seem to be some level of confusion in the back as well. Once the order was ready, I glanced inside the bag and saw what looks like our order and asked, are the sauces and everything inside? The person working said yes. I asked again, are you sure? She said yes. I left and drive home. Got in the house. Brought everything upstairs, began to unpack, only to realize we got no dipping sauces at all and instead got some kind of weird boneless wing with sweet-and-sour sauce that we would never order and never eat. I called right away to let them know, there was no apology, no explanation ... just basically dead silence on the other end of the line. Finally I said, I'm bringing everything back and I want a full refund. I did not want to eat the wings that were not even what we ordered and with no sauce. Even if we had decided to eat the part of the order that was what we wanted, again, no sauce and that defers the point of wings. I explained to them that by the time I would leave my house, go back and get sauce, and then come back home everything would be cold and not fresh. Frankly, they could have cared less. I brought the entire order back to the front counter and they refunded my money, barely apologized, and that was it. I understand that accidents happen. But the service this location has never been good and this is not the first time we have had an issue. But it will be the last. The lack of apology or really trying to go above and beyond to make it right, or even acting like they cared, was the bigger issue than the mistake itself. i placed an order online to be ready by 11:45, i arrived at 11:50 and my order was already cold. So i took it home and was so disappointed by the size of the boneless wings and the potato salad. The teriyaki wings were so salty, tasted more like soy sauce with a touch of teriyaki. The lemon pepper wings weren't anything to get excited about. The tiny potato salad was good, but i could have purchased a larger size, for the same price, at the QFC around the corner. First off, do yourself a favor when ordering and just let them ask questions in order. Don't try to spit out your order and all the details at once, employees are trained to walk through each specification in a certain order, so just let them. Onto the review- wings are delicious, and you can specify all flats or all drum eyes if you're picky (I am, flats only!) They're made fresh to order so be ready to wait about 20 minutes (or order ahead, via phone or online). You can add Parmesan garlic seasoning to your fries- do it. There are a couple flavors that are just too greasy/oily for me, but most other people don't seem to mind. We went to Wing Stop the 2nd day of their grand opening, we ordered a 15 piece of wings along withe the 5 free wings we each received for a totsl of 30 wings. We were suppose to get sides including drinks but only received the wings. We also did not get the right wing flavor. The chicken was tough and chewy, over-cooked. The flavors were nothing special. We make tastier chicken wings at home. If they did not over-cooked the wings they would taste a bit better. Well I pick up our food and the bag seems light but I look in it, I see our 2 dips and 2 fries on top, on the bottom I thought I saw 2 white boxes. Well I was wrong. I get home and realize there's only one box of wings. So I'm already frustrated thinking they forgot the rest of our order but no.. They fit 20 wings, 4 different flavors, in one box. Well I open the the box and I see these teeny tiny wings (which is so odd because normally the wings are a good size. Like a normal sized chicken nugget ya know). Well I separate me and my boyfriends wings and I bite into my first one, breading. Second one, breading. Out of ALL 20 wings, there was about 5 pieces that actually had meat inside...Wtf. Our fries were barely cooked and very cold. Even the drinks were bad, I think the syrup in the fruit punch was running out. So I got home and took a nice sip of watery fruit punch. Always such nice friendly service. One time they were so busy and very low staff and what seemed to be the manager was on the cashier and was so nice and genuine my boyfriend and I didn't mind the wait (just the basic wait for what it takes to actually cook the wings to perfection) all the other customers who waited in line looking grumpy and hungry after their order and interaction with the gentleman at the cashier walked away with a smile and instantly better attitude. 5 stars not just for the food, but the employees! We're just visiting from California & my husband & I were hungry so we stopped here for something quick & easy. We walked in & we didn't really know how to order the food here because this place reminds me of Wings n Things, but the menu is laid out completely differently, so we just looked at the menu for a while. There were 2 people working, a female (which I didn't get the name of) & a male whose name is Danny (his name is on the receipt when we paid). They helped us understand the menu & helped us decide which flavors to pick for the chicken, both employees were nice & helpful! The food was also good too, my husband & I have nothing to complain about, we got stuffed.
