Choice of dark or white meat is a great option. Love the heart and concept behind sourcing locally, avoiding factory farmed chicken, and still providing an affordable delicious product. We tried both the regular and spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a nice ranch sauce. Everything was cooked well, chicken was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside and customer service was great. Choice of dark or white meat is a great option as well. Highly recommend and will return!

My ranch and some Chicken Littles

Quick service (love the bawk noise) and a cozy interior. Main complaint is that they were out of their herb ranch so I had to go retrieve my own. Big fan of the dark meat sandwich, though I ended up thinking the Chicken Littles were the better deal.

I recently visited Mt. Joy in Capitol Hill, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience! I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious--crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. The fries were the perfect complement, perfectly crispy and seasoned. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I can't wait to come back and grab another chicken sandwich. Heard they are opening up a location in SLU which makes me extra excited since it'll be closer to where we live! Also pretty cool but they have this tv screen with some trivia. If you sign up, and get the questions correct, you get a chance for free food!

Anytime my son ask for a milkshake we know where to go Mt. Joy! The strawberry Basil and Vanilla are unbelievably bold and delicious. The customer service is always great, the staff always aim to ensure every order is served freshly prepared and hot upon receiving. The dining space is really small, but very accommodating if it's not busy. My husband loves the wings, and chicken sandwich while my kids enjoy the tenders, fries, and shakes. If you're looking for a great milkshake with chicken Mt. Joy is the place; I highly recommend!

So... what the hell happened to this place? First time back in a while and wow, what a disaster. Came in craving the Mediterranean bowl; they're out. Grabbed the chicken sandwich and cauliflower bites instead. Both were basically salt bombs. Chicken? Ice cold. Cauliflower? Lava hot. The staff looked absolutely miserable, which honestly, I get it. The whole vibe was just off. Not exactly the triumphant return I was hoping for.

Yummy and crispy chicken sandwiches. A simple concept and well executed by Mt. Joy. Very happy we stopped in to get a quick sandwich here before a concert that was at a nearby venue. Our sandwiches were hot and fresh not to mention very filling. Worth grabbing one when you're in the area!

Very good fried chicken restaurant that also serves sandwiches, fries, salads, shakes and related fare - excellent service and inside or the interior atmosphere is bigger than you'd initially expect. Recommended if you are in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood!

Nut allergy friendly: No issues with the order I had. It was pretty empty when we arrived at 7:45PM on a Saturday evening. Took 13 minutes to get my order of a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The chicken sandwich was average. I got white meat and the sandwich felt a bit small for the price. I don't like that the spiciness came from the sauce rather than spicy breading. I'd come back for a fast meal but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I love a good chicken sandwich, so while working in the Capitol Hill neighborhood I decided to check out Mt Joy. The sandwich and the fries were good, but not great. I did like that you could order either white or dark meat, that was a unique customer perk. You enter, order from a kiosk, and wait for your number to be called out. The seating area was small, but well lit and with a warm interior design. Overall, it's solid, worth checking out if you are in the area. But I would not say it's a top chicken sandwich in the city.

Tried the spicy chicken and portobello sandwhich here as well as the new cauliflower bites. Really really liked the cauliflower bites which come with garlic aioli, the chicken sandwich was alright but didn't really find it very spicy and wanted more of a kick. It didn't really taste spicy to me and was just more flavor. The portobello was good as well, kinda wish there was more of a crunch. Overall the service was really good and really fast, you order through tablets and the food comes fast after. Cute little restaurant, would go again if I wanted a healthier chicken sandwich or a mushroom burger.

Great place to get a quick chicken sandwich and fries. Chicken sandwich was pretty good, I enjoyed how you can pick either white or dark meat. The ordering system was very easy and smooth. Highly recommend and I will come back.

    Chicken little (tender )
    Tim W.

13 bucks for just a meh sandwich. I do like how fresh the tomato and lettuce were on the chicken sandwich. The chicken little (tenders) was really dry. I'd advise against it. Maybe they overcooked mine but yea it was so dry, I fed the other two tenders to my dog. The customer service was really what saved this place. Ambience was good. One of the sodas was all carbonate Water. I believe it's the Lemon lime by Jones that had no syrup so was not that good of an experienced. I wouldn't come here I'd just go to Dave's a block away. That's way better. I think it was 7.99 there for a chicken sandwich when ordered there last month.

Potato skins and garlic rice were good too, though less garlic would have been better. Could easily make this into a garlic egg fried rice and larger portions. I've had sandwiches, bowls, tenders, thighs and drums. They're all good. The sandwiches are the high point in my opinion - particular shoutout to the Slawsome and Hot Honey. They're big and messy but tasty. Can't go wrong with them, and I frequently can't help but order one. The bowls are powerful. I've had both kinds on different trips and they're hard to do in a single sitting, whereas sandwich + side is not. Just be warned. The sides are straightforward - what you see is what you get. They tend to be a little more basic, or classic if you will, than the sandwiches. I like this, since they serve as a side/counterpoint. We tend to get the slaw and pot of gold. The fries are the battered style which are very good and combo well with the rest of the menu. Takeout times tend to be accurate and the staff have been working hard but helpful every time we stop in. Most importantly they've been consistently good every time we go - and often during peak busy times, so that speaks well of their kitchen staff. Top marks all around. The move to the new spot didn't slow them down a bit, so make sure you check the address before going if you haven't been in a few months.

My husband and I both ordered 3 tendies, in cayenne heat (level 2 spicy). Didn't seem spicy enough for my liking, so next time I am going to try the level 3! The chicken is delicious! It's crispy, juicy and flavorful. They offer a lot of sauces to choose from too. Although if you ask me, if you order any spicy level, the chicken doesn't need it! My husband is a dipper though and he likes his sauce. His fave is the Honey Mustard. (I opted for a garlic aioli. I love garlic but it was a little much). Since I was feeling like a comfort side, I selected the potatoes and gravy. (I have also had the fries and the macaroni and cheese). They have a good selection of sides. We love Cookie's chicken!

They have a super affordable meal deal on the app and their combos are also affordable. We ordered on a kiosk but you could order through a cashier if you wanted. I went with their bowl combo while my boyfriend got their tacos combo as well as an order of their chicken tortilla soup and a free chicken avocado taco. I tried to order on their app but not sure if there was just an error but they were also extremely busy from when we arrived and it did take some time to receive our food. Despite how busy the employees were, they never forgot to be courteous and kept a positive attitude. Also, on the app, they don't have horchata but next to the fountain drinks, there is a horchata dispenser. The horchata is very refreshing and the perfect amount of sweetness for me. When we did receive our food, it smelled amazing. My avocado chicken taco was on the colder side but not sure if that is how it is supposed to come out like that or hotter. It was still good though! The soup was comforting and absolutely my favorite and the craziest thing is I don't care for Applebee's chicken tortilla soup this was way better in terms of flavor, presentation and quality. My boyfriend really loved his tacos and I loved my bowl, I could barely eat half of it because it was stuffed! We did ask for all three salsas but when we asked for more, they gave us the same one so not sure if they ran out or just so busy that they just gave us whatever. There are plenty of tables to sit on your own or with others, we noticed there were a lot of families gathered and enjoying the family meal. It is also sweet that they offer paper plates for that meal too. Overall, it was a great first impression and we will definitely be ordering from here again!
