While the food is generally pretty good, I can't say the same about the service and staff. Every time I've gone, it's always someone very young (which is no big deal) except for when they have an attitude. Management doesn't seem to do a very good job vetting their employees because the exception is friendly service and the rule is an unwarranted attitude from a rude and childish youngster from some armpit of the nearby area. This place has horrible customer service. The employees do not know the definition of customer service. They're always rude, nobody ever smiles, acknowledges or greets you. Every time you call and place an order, you are being placed on hold for 10 minutes until they remember that they placed you on hold. The quality of the chicken sucks, the fries are always soggy. Placed an order on line. When I arrive after a long drive out of the way for their wings they tell me they don't have my order. I leave then decide to call back and speak to a manager. They tell me they found my order but called because they needed my credit card. I never received a call. The manager seemed like she didn't even care. I placed an online order and was told my food would be ready at 7:00pm. My husband went, paid for the order and waited....and then 20 mins later asked about the order...and waited...and then another 20 mins goes by and he went up and asked again. They took his receipt and said I didn't pay online(Duh, he just paid when he got there at 7:00pm...40mins ago) so that's why it wasn't ready yet. By then he had waited 40 mins, paid for the order they had in their system and then they took his receipt because they lost the ticket. It took them 1 hour and 20mins to prepare an order that was supposed to be ready in 20 mins. No apology, they were unprofessional and then blamed us for them losing the ticket. Our order confirmation meant nothing. People walked in and ordered and were served over and over again in front of my husband. Don't waste your time. Raise chickens, formulate your own hot sauce, make your own ranch dressing...and you will STILL be ahead of this place. Awful! read more

Reading all the other reviews and seeing the rating this place got I am not surprised with the experience I had. I ordered online to save time. I wanted to just swing by, pick up my order and head off. I asked for the order to be ready at 6:15 so it would be warm for my 6:30 party. I arrived at this location and there were about 10-12 people in what looked like a line. The front counter is pressed up right to the door so there's really no room for the line. Everyone is just kind of bunched up together. I went to the pick up side and said I had ordered online. The girl tells me I have to stand in line. I asked whether it made a difference that I had already paid. She said no. So I stand in line. The people taking orders seem overwhelmed and under trained. Every order took about 5 minutes to take. It can't possibly be that involved and complicated. Once I finally made it to the front, I see, ironically, a sign that reads "Skip the wait, order online". I was then given my now lukewarm (at best) order. The entire place needs to be reconfigured. Online or phone orders have to be handled differently. Otherwise what's the point? read more

If I could give zero stars I would! I've been here several times and on many occasions my order is messed up, it's not ready when I get there, OR it wasn't even started after I ordered it over 20 minutes before! It's a franchise so they clearly dont care about customer service because they never correct their mistakes!! Last time I ordered online and gave them AMPLE time to have my order ready before I got there (40 mins) and my order wasn't even done! There was something wrong with printer or their website. You have to ask for your wings to be well done, in order for them to be fully cooked, GROSS! The Garlic Parmesan is a waste of money, all of the Garlic and Parmesan is in the bottom of the container, none is on the wings themselves. Check your order before you leave, nine times out of ten your order is wrong or something is missing. I refuse to spend a dime at this place. My mother on the other hand loves them and I still go to pick up her food. She orders the mild traditional wings. Customer service is horrible, quality of food is horrible, accuracy of meal is horrible, and it's always freezing in there like they don't want you to stay. Overall the place is really bad and you'd do better off going to a different location. They charge at least .25 for dipping sauce, yet they rarely give it to you, straight profit for them! The manager is rude as heck! Don't waste your time complaining to her, she will speak down to you. They would get ZERO stars, if it was an option. They need to shut this spot down and quick! For those of you that don't know, there's a Hot Wings Café on Van Nuys Blvd., right below the freeway but before Ventura. First off, I'm not a big fan of this place as it is. Been to the northridge one and didn't like it what so ever, this was a while back, so i decided to give this place a try. I seriously thought "hey, maybe it was just the location" NO ! Im seriously not surprised with the service i got ! I had one hour for lunch and thought i would order online as they advertise theres no wait, this was at 1:20 (NO BIG DEAL ONLY 20 MINUTES AT THE MOMENT) , the minute i walk in to pay my stuff i see the cashier putting in my order, i then ask how long was it gonna take and he says an additional 20 min when online order said it would be ready at 1:45 , i asked if they don't put in the order as soon as they get it and he says yes but he hadn't had a chance. My order didn't take 20 min i ended getting my order at around 2:20 literally an hour later !!! Before all this i asked for a refund and to cancel my order and the cashier totally ignored me and said my order was coming up which it didn't till like 10 minutes later ! at this point i didn't even think my food was gonna be any good anymore , wings were good, but the fries were just plain disgusting , they tasted as if they were soaked in oil and left sitting for who knows how long, and they were parmesan fries and that just made it that much worse !! looked like someone had just puked on them !!!! This wing stop has so many rude employee. I came in recently to have dinner there with my sister for the first time and did not like the it. The food was cold and fries didn't seem fresh at all, and the cashier was not friendly or nice or anything at all. No wonder they have so many different ppl working there every other month. Pretty much the only good thing about this place is the good prices, that is, if they take your order correctly. After ordering the 35 piece Boneless Family Meal, and then realizing it was boneless and reordering it as the other Family Meal, with Regular Wings, which cost us $54.00 (and oddly enough, the menu said it cost 25.99), we ate, trying to ignore our unclean and disgusting surroundings. (My shoes actually stuck to parts of the floor where it was quite obvious that some type of chicken wing dressing had been dropped and not cleaned up.) Afterwards, after noticing the mistake in our order, we told the person who had taken our order about her mistake, to which she replied,with an attitude, "Maybe you should know what you want the first time you order, then". She then gave us $3.00 since "apparently" the small order of fries had cost 5 dollars (!!!) and the order of potato salad had cost 8 dollars (again, !!!). I will not be visiting this place again, and they should really train their employees to be have a more professional attitude, and to actually do the orders on the computer like they should be doing, and not writing it down and doing calculations (which were all wrong) in their head, since they're too lazy to redo it all on the computer. I recommend no one goes here, unless they'd like to have a horrible experience and get cheated out of 15 bucks. read more

Of course the food is great, but the service is horrible. Their bathroom is graffitied, and they do not clean their tables often enough. They don't have napkins, just a roll of paper you have to rip off. The music playing is horrible, and the employees move in a slo-motion way. I highly recommending ordering over the phone for pickup, but when I tried I got put on hold forever and got disconnected. If you want to eat in a good atmosphere then I do not recommend this place. Before I submit a bad review, I try to resolve any issues which resulted in my negative experience. Well, in this case, there was no resolution. My to-go order was not as specified, but I did not notice until I got to my destination. Being that it was after the store closed, I ate some of the order because I was hungry, but discarded the rest. I figured I would address the mishap in the morning. My expectation was that the manager would rectify the portion of the order that was incorrect and everyone, especially me, would be happy. Unfortunately, that's not how it played out. The manager told me the policy states she would need the uneaten chicken before she could offer any refunds or discounts. I tried to reason with her and asked if her request sounded rational. She said that was the policy and she couldn't deviate from it. She offered no apologies for my inconvenience or disappointment in their customer service. She couldn't even produce a policy for me to read. I am under the impression that she may have a bias towards customers in this neighborhood and believes they are trying to swindle Wingstop out of chicken. I just wanted my 7 wings cooked as ordered. Hopefully, the district manager will contact me and we can come to some type of reasonable solution. In the meantime, Amber Jacobson, the manager, needs some training on how to resolve customer issues. read more

.. let me say i was very upset with Wing Stop tonight.. it first started off excited since its been a good moment having their wings after finding a better place [hot wings café].. placed my order using the mobile app and was given the choice of paying at the restaurant.. had a missed call 10 mins after placing order.. returned the call to find out it was Wing Stop.. assuming my order was ready.. i was put on hold.. while making my way out to my vehicle to pick up my order im still on hold while driving for 5 minutes.. i decided to end the call.. arrived at the store location to see no one in line or on the phone.. i make my way up the register as a male cashier left to the kitchen for who knows what messing around with the bag of french fries while im waiting to be asked for help.. one woman had to take a call to the store and finally was noticed and said will be right with me.. while the cashier is in the kitchen looking my way as a crowded line started to form.. finally the woman was able to assist me.. i gave my name and said she didnt see my order.. i showed my e-mail confirmation as she then found my order.. said they had called and left a voicemail [written note on printed confirmation paper stating left voicemail] which is a lie because i dont have my voicemail setup.. stating about my order needing to be paid.. i told her it gave me the option of paying in store when picking up order.. then the manager Daniel in which by the way looked like shit covered in grease said that the wings were still going to be made.. i asked to clarify if my order was already in the process.. the manager clarified my order has not been completely placed as i needed to pay first.. i said thank you and walked out being completely irritated by his poor fucking customer service.. for future references.. you need to update the damn mobile application.. not only was my time wasted but the drive as well!.. im not going to stand and wait an additional you so call to be "14 minutes" until my order is ready when in fact it takes 25-30 fucking minutes!.. im sticking with Hot Wings Café.. the quality of their wings.. service and wait time is beyond Wing Stop's reach!.. i will only admit that the only advantage Wing Stop has are their variety of flavors for their wings.. no fucking review star will you receive by me!..
