I ordered a six piece (two legs, two thighs, a breast and a wing) chicken with four sides (mashed pots and gravy, corn, coleslaw, mac and cheese) and four biscuits through DoorDash. It was a bit of shock seeing the size of the chicken portions and the sides. I came to the conclusion that you have to be a dark meat fan to eat here. The legs and thighs are decent in size and seem to be a better deal for the money. The wing was okay. The breast was small and consisted mostly of rib and breading. The very small pieces of breast meat were dry. This was a far cry from the past KFC chicken breasts which were mainly chicken tenders without the ribs. Overall the chicken was passable. I ordered the original chicken but there is no discernible herbs and spices other than salt, black pepper, and MSG. The sides were the individual size ones. Good thing I can reuse the containers as they are sturdy. The coleslaw was crisp and good tasting which was a surprise. It was worth getting more of this. The mashed potatoes are from a dehydrated mix so I know they aren't prepared from fresh. Gravy is okay to dip the breaded chicken skin in. The mac and cheese was cheesy in flavor but, again, very salty. It needed to have more macaroni added to it. Corn was tasted okay but surprisingly hard in texture. Biscuits tasted fine but needed a few more minutes in the oven to get golden brown. They were looking a bit pale. I also got their fried apple pie which is reminiscent of the ones from Mickey D's long ago. This was a good tasting, crispy crust fried hand pie. Definitely recommend that. I would probably not return to KFC in general although the Chicken Pot Pie seems intriguing and people seem to like it. I may be lured in later to try the pot pie.

At 5:55 p.m., I placed my order separately, about 10 minutes before everyone else at our table. There were three orders placed at our table. I ordered a ribeye and shrimp, mixed vegetables, and a baked potato with butter only. At approximately 7:25 p.m., our waitress brought everyone else's food, but my meal was still not ready. Throughout the wait, our server continued checking on us regarding drinks and kept us updated that my food was still being prepared. I even went up to the kitchen/food counter myself to see if my order was ready. I continued checking back about every 10 minutes. Finally, around 8:05 p.m., my food arrived. I immediately noticed that the baked potato had not been prepared as I requested--it had toppings on it instead of being plain with butter. The server offered to take it back and have them redo it, but after waiting more than two hours, I told her I would just take it. I cut into my ribeye, and I have to say, it was cooked to perfection. The plate looked great, and everything appeared appetizing. Unfortunately, the entire meal was very cold. I let our server know, and again she offered to have the food remade. At that point, I didn't want to wait another two hours for another meal, so I declined. I completely understand that REPUBLIC has just reopened and that some of the staff may be new. Opening a busy restaurant after renovations can certainly come with challenges. My comments are meant to be constructive. My suggestions would be to add food runners to help the kitchen get meals out to the tables quickly and to have more people behind the bar to keep drinks moving. The remodel looks great, and I really like the new sports-watching area. Now the restaurant needs to focus on getting food to the tables in a timely manner while it's still hot, as well as getting drinks out more efficiently. Shoutout to "Reese" she is a very attentive server. Also noticed she was helping out other servers at the pos machine. I would definitely be interested in coming back once they have had some time to work out the opening-week growing pains. The potential is definitely there.

Employees at this location have a serious attitude problem. As soon as I walked in to get my order the night manger had a chip on his shoulder. And wanted to make everything in too an issue to get my order They want to see my bank transaction for payment instead of my order confirmation. Due to credit card fraud and there new policy. However the way this guy wanted to talk to me and give me no help while I stand there for 20 mins was ridiculous. It turned into a whole thing with the front girls thinking it was funny not wanting to give there names. Saying that's why we don't where name badges. Anyways I'm sure they tossed the order or eat it them selves later it was a waste to ever go and pay money for this poor service. read more

Yall rate thus place based of one day. If i had a bad experience with wingstop, i will try it two more times. Anyway, i never had a problem, people just like to create one small problem into a bug one like when they take a but longer, yall know how the work field is , bunch of rude customers, if u one of those rude people you should definitely not expect to be treated godly when u have got your own customers when youre on the clock. I love when Angelo is working when I order. I'm a regular at this store. Angelo is always bright and cheerful when taking my order, rather it's on the phone or in person. When I got my food from Wingstop, it smelled so good. Everything was cooked to perfection. The order didn't really take that long. It was really fast service. Excited there is actually a wingstop near me now! There were a number of people in there but I got my food pretty quick anyway. Talked to the Manager for a bit as well. You could tell they were kinda new but seemed they were adapting well and doing everything they could for the customers. Definitely going to frequent it again! read more
