Yet again, making another review for Winnas kitchen I'm from Michigan and I was in Myrtle Beach for motorcycle bike week and I finally got to meet the owner of my favorite restaurant. He is an absolutely amazing guy very funny, very compassionate. The hospitality that I received was absolutely amazing once again and it just tells me why that this is my favorite place. The silly Millies are absolutely amazing. The sweet tea is amazing. Their homemade rice crispy treat is probably the best thing I've ever had lately. I love you Winnas kitchen keep being great never change

Winna's Kitchen truly brought me back home with its fresh, bold flavors and undeniable quality. After living in the South for 12 years, I didn't expect to be this impressed--but every bite proved me wrong. The food tastes like it's made with care, tradition, and real ingredients, not shortcuts. From the first bite, you can tell this place is something special. If you're looking for authentic, soulful cooking that actually delivers, this is it.

Winna's Kitchen is back in downtown Myrtle Beach! We loved the cozy atmosphere in their new space. Our meals were delicious, fresh, and a fun spin on traditional comfort foods. We will absolutely be back soon ! - A Better BLT (house sourdough, bacon, arugula, tomato, avocado, mayo, sweet bacon jam) - Corkey's Meat & Potatoes (family meatloaf recipe topped with hatch chile and bacon jam, roasted potatoes)

Met up with my grandma for lunch while my husband, toddler, and I were in town. The food was delicious and portion sizes were great! The server was really friendly, and the atmosphere was cute and calm (it kind of gave us a break from the chaos of a Saturday at the beach). Food took a little while to get there, but once it arrived, we were not disappointed. Everything was amazing and huge so we even had leftovers. The baked goods for sale were also super tempting! We got pancakes and my grandma got an enormous sandwich. Highly recommend! Will likely return next time we come to town.

This is a hidden gem! So glad we happened upon it because of a local foodie list when we were visiting Myrtle Beach. The food is as creative and unique as it is delicious. The service is best in class and the coffee should not be missed. If you are in the area, don't miss Winnas!

Went for Lunch after hearing a lot about the place and we were not disappointed. The place is small but that's part of the charm. No chain here and you can tell all the food is hand made on site. The meatloaf was absolutely the best I've ever had. The portion size wasn't enormous but neither was the price for food that made by people that know what's going on in the kitchen. High quality restaurant.

We love the saying on the wall at Winna's!!

The experience at Winna's was no less than AMAZING!! We were greeted like old friends upon arrival!! Jess and Walt shared the beautiful history of how Winna's was conceived and came to fruition. The food is homemade daily and does not disappoint!! The service from Nikki was exceptional!! We will definitely be back!!

The Birthday Girl discovered the restaurants via Yelp. We were cordially received with a warm and inviting welcome. The atmosphere of the restaurant was of the highest standard. The food was fresh and the flavors were exceptional. We ordered three servings of the House Potatoes, which I enhanced with avocado and shrimp, and were truly impressive. The Whistler and Bacon & Egg Fried Rice was the other meals we ordered. This is an outstanding restaurant with exceptional service.

Drove from north myrtle beach for this! Ordered ricardo toast, egg and bacon fried rice, skillet omelette, and the Whistler. Service was nice, the lady was attentive and keep on checking if we were ok. However, the food took soooo long to come! It was a nice little place. A bit quiet but still comfortable.

    Cheese bread

Outstanding! Just GO ! And order the cheese bread , add avocado and chicken . This place is a hidden gem . I will be returning.

I was pleasantly surprised with this cute little spot! I loved the decor, and the hospitality and food quality was top notch! My dad got the biscuit/gravy special. Generally, I feel that is it hard to add any "pizzazz" to such a dish... as it is generally a grey and beige dish. They sure fancied it up! It was beautiful! I had the fall quesadilla. It was the only thing that I wasn't crazy about. It needed a bit of acidity in my opinion. My mother had the lemon ricotta pancakes... they were a home run! Definitely the favorite at the table. I look forward to returning!

We decided to sit at the bar. The server greeted us promptly, took our drink order, and gave us time to look over the menu. When she returned with our drinks, she explained the specials. My wife ordered the boneless rib roast (I believe that's what it was called) along with the asparagus soup. I ordered the deconstructed Wellington, cooked medium rare. When we arrived, there was only one other table, though a few more couples came in shortly after. I will say up front -- don't be in a hurry. They appear to cook one table at a time. Many of the entrées are served under a smoked dome, which I assume is for presentation. While it looked nice, it didn't add any flavor. My filet and the mushroom-stuffed puff pastry with demi-glace were served with the smoke, but the mashed potatoes and asparagus came on a separate plate. I didn't really understand this, as there was plenty of room to plate everything together. My wife's beef was served on top of her mashed potatoes in a bowl. The asparagus soup was ok needed some more seasoning for sure kind of bland wouldn't get it again. Once we started eating, my wife noticed her mashed potatoes weren't very hot. I checked mine and found that even in the center they were only warm. I asked the server for additional demi-glace since what I had was cold. While waiting, I cut into my steak. I first tried using the butter knife, which didn't work, and had to switch to the steak knife. The meat was cooked great and was tender, but slightly tougher than expected. When the demi-glace arrived, it was still not warm, so I asked for it to be heated again. The second time it came back steaming, which helped warm up both the potatoes. Overall, the food was good, but temperature was the main issue. I could understand this if multiple tables were being served at once, but we were sitting at the bar watching the kitchen, and only one table's food was being prepared at a time. There were two people cooking -- one handling apps and salads, and the other working on the main courses. Perhaps if they worked together, food could come out faster and hotter. That said, we will be back. The food itself was good, and several other dishes we saw going out to other tables looked very good as well. And the desserts sounded good. One star taken away because of the food temp. otherwise 5.

As always, we sat at the bar and just had sodas this time. My wife ordered a salad, and I had the Cuban Melt. The food came out fairly quickly and everything looked great. Starting with the positives: the chicken and mac & cheese sushi roll was actually really good. It's definitely a unique combination, but it worked and we were pleasantly surprised. We also liked that you could see the beach from inside the restaurant, which made for a nice atmosphere. Now for the negatives. From the moment we sat down, we didn't feel very welcomed. Our server seemed annoyed that our party of six sat at a booth, even though two of those seats were for our 2-year-olds who were sitting between us. It really wasn't a full "six adults" situation. We originally wanted to order the mozzarella wontons, but were told they were sold out of mozzarella, so we took the server's suggestion and ordered the chicken mac & cheese sushi roll instead. When it came out, we actually thanked her because it was good and we were glad we tried it. When we ordered appetizers, we also ordered the kids' meals right away. Our appetizer came out, then we placed our dinner order: two burgers and two sushi rolls. The kids' meals came out first, which made sense since we ordered them early. Then the two burgers came out. The problem was that the people eating the burgers were basically finished with their meals before our sushi rolls ever arrived and we noticed other tables who ordered sushi after us were getting theirs first. We weren't given any updates about the delay, and when we asked about it, the explanation didn't make sense considering other sushi orders were coming out before ours. By the time my sushi finally arrived, everyone else at our table had already eaten. The kids were getting restless and we needed to leave, so I ended up asking to have my sushi boxed up instead of eating it there. The service was honestly the most disappointing part of the experience. Our server felt dismissive and irritated throughout the meal, and at one point my husband had to step in because of how she responded to a friend who was simply raising concerns about the food timing. I was really excited to try this place, and I'm honestly glad we didn't go here for my actual birthday dinner two days earlier, because it would have been a very disappointing celebration. Between the lack of hospitality and the poor service, it just wasn't a great experience for us.
