The meals included drinks, but they didn't have any low sugar options for drinks. No tea. Only water or high sugar options. It was around $35 for 2 people. The restaurant was clean. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. There was a young waiter who was very attentive and kind. He was actually too attentive, checking on us every few minutes. It was a bit annoying, but he had good intentions. Unfortunately, the food just wasn't good. We ordered sliced brisket. What we received was not sliced brisket. We each received a slab of brisket. It was about 50% fat on each of our orders. The little brisket that was there lacked seasoning. The sausage was ok, but also lacked flavor. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a good BBQ spot. I saw Winners and knew I had to stop by. I've eaten at the Winners in Plano since it opened and I've never had a bad experience. This location was really good, I ordered the 2 meat MVP and the food did not disappoint. The customer service was decent, I noticed some reviews mentioned that the customer service wasn't great but maybe management took whatever measures were necessary to fix the issues. I did not experience poor customer service on my visit and I will definitely be back. The only thing I did not like was that there was not a self service BBQ sauce station like the Plano location has. The Mac and cheese was good. The brisket very dry the sauce didn't help at all. The baked potatoe was horrible also. They clearly microwaved it put a whole slice of brisket on it. The food was AMAZING!!! The restaurant was lil dark. The young lady taking the order was very unprofessional and not very pleasant. Upon entering the restaurant I was met with a counter so I stood waiting for someone to greet me. Realizing that no one would, I went to the counter. I explained to the lady that this is my first time being here so I was not sure if the process. She " just look at the menu, it's posted". After placing the other, the food was brought out. Before I was done eating, she came to the table and said "are you done with the barbecue sauce". There were only four people in the restaurant not sure why she needed that particular one. Wow, this is some awesome BBQ. We have traveled all over the country as full-time RVers, and have tried BBQ everywhere. We were very impressed with the food here! The brisket and sausage were both melt-in-your mouth tender with a perfect ring of fire. The MVP potato was to die for, baked with a crispy skin, filled with butter, cheese, sour cream and tender pulled pork. Our friend really enjoyed the nachos, too. Gosh, I wish we lived near this place. But, if we did, we'd easily weigh 300 lbs! Came here and picked up bbq for Father's Day. I ordered the prime time which is a little bit of everything. We ended up giving it to our dog. I ordered 87$ worth of dog food. The brisket slices we're almost an inch thick! What the heck is that!? It was the chewiest, most undercooked brisket I have ever eaten. The ribs were also undercooked. The little bit of that was on the ribs was stuck on the bone. The pulled pork was tender but was soooo salty it was almost inedible. I'll go to Harris bbq next time I need a fix. I wish I could get my money back. What a waste. Came last Sunday right after church, so they were maybe open less than an hour and was already sold out of greens and a meat option. Stopped in for lunch with a 3 Meat plate of ribs, sliced brisket, and sausage and potato salad and beans on the side. The cashier was friendly but the interior was a little cold. All the meats have a good smoky flavor (my guess is pecan and oak) with heavy black pepper typical of central TX barbecue. The brisket was slightly dry and required a dab of sauce. It was also sliced thicker than I prefer but the flavor was top notch. Overall, the lineup of meats stood on their own without having to rely on a heavy sauce to prop the flavor. Beans were also heavy on black pepper but good. Potato salad was nice and creamy with a pop of dill. Both sides complimented the meats well. Owner of the business stopped by to chat for a minute then his wife came by a bit later. Very nice people! I love greasy spoon / off the grid restaurant, the food tends to be authentic, large portions and the best bang for your buck. I enjoyed the atmosphere (the soulful music) and the smoky grill smell had me more then ready to sit and eat. All the smoked meats were cooked to perfection from the brisket, ribs and sausage. The meat here is amazing! The ribs just fall off the bone and are full of flavor. The rub they used is delicious. They links are also great. I gave them 4 stars because the sides are not as amazing as the eat. The green beans had a sweet taste to them. The Mac & cheese was nothing to brag about. The sweet tea is not good at all, but I was able to get another drink without any issues. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. The drink was also included.
