Nice to see a new business, which was once one of my favorite restaurants, The Tinnery. We enjoyed a morning coffee served hot and creamy. (The Ghirardelli Mocha). They have a nice selection of morning pastries. We had the lemon cream scone, which were large, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Their outside patio ocean view is fantastic. They also offer a regular dine-in food menu and wine bar. Next time we stop, we'll try a sit-down lunch. Give Crema a try next time you're in Pacific Grove.

My cousin brought us here during a visit, and it was a great choice. The location is beautiful, with amazing views and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the scenery. We came on a Friday during a holiday weekend, so it was pretty busy. Luckily, we happened to arrive at the right time and were able to grab a table that was just being cleared. The food was good, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I ordered the Green Goddess Shrimp Roll, which had a generous amount of shrimp, plenty of flavor, and a fresh, soft roll. The rest of our group ordered the Bay King and Veggie Frittata, and both were enjoyed as well. The Bloody Mary was a highlight for me--loaded with toppings and one of the better ones I've had in a while! Service was decent. Nothing that really stood out, but overall we had a nice experience. The views and atmosphere definitely make this place worth a visit.

What a cute spot! After driving 2.5 hrs for our getaway, we arrived at Lovers Point for brunch. We entered on the side of the bar which was beautiful. The inside of Crema feels way more spacious and bright on the inside. I was told they also have an expanded back room. There's a good sized dining area with huge windows overlooking the park across the street and ocean. They have plenty of seating outside too including lounge chairs. You walk down a short corridor to get to the bathrooms (there's a water dispenser for one's water bottle which is nice! [maybe for staff though? Lol]). I got a whole big table to myself and one big plus about this place is it's so dog friendly!! My boys and I got a water bowl and plenty of loving attention. I tried the butterfly lemonade. It's purple! My favorite color. Thank goodness not too sweet. But you can sweeten it with a rock candy wand. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Plate. It was delicious and they give you a big helping of herbed cream cheese. There's a side of salad. The salmon is fresh and complemented with the appropriate amount of capers and pickled onions. I also tried the tomato and lentil soup. It comes out nice and hot. They give you such a generous amount and it's a rich texture that is just thick enough. Overall everything tasted really fresh. Service was prompt and attentive. All in all such a great location for refreshing bites and drinks! Great spot to relax and take a break.

Monday brunch was a great time to come here as it wasn't crowded like it normally is. I was peacefully left alone with my meal, latte, and book for a lovely two hours. I loved Crema's last location but this one is certainly roomier with a better view. Staff were friendly and the food was delish. I'll certainly return in the future.

The food is super delicious fresh and flavorful The atmosphere is wonderful. It's really cozy, welcoming and relaxing. Has a hometown feeling. The service was very attentive. Everyone was on top of all of our request and was able to customize some of our ingredients that we would like to remove to make a special day.

Marshmallow cornflake chocolate chip cookie was so good, didn't get to snap a photo but had a perfectly crunchy outer ring & gooey inside. Blueberry matcha tasted freshly made, real blueberries vs that bright artificial blueberry syrup lots of places use - surprisingly flavorful enough without the syrup. Staff were helpful, welcoming & friendly! Charming cozy spot with a great view of Lovers Point.

The decorations are airy and inviting and the view, divine. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. We came in on a Thursday afternoon around 2PM. There were only 2 other tables with customers finishing their meals. We were seated and waited 10 minutes before we were acknowledged or even offered water. We thought they forgot about us, several times through our meal. There were 2 employees folding napkins and others walking in and out of the room, but we remained invisible. We ordered a sandwich and a salad. They were good but not worth the lack of service we received despite so many employees present. We felt unimpressed by the experience as everyone was obviously more concerned with prepping for one of their first days with an extended schedule into the afternoon/evening. We were so excited about this location being reopened, but we have too many favorite places to eat in town to give our time and money to a place that made us feel like a burden.

A Friday morning visit around 8am The view here is really nice and I loved the vibe with all the plants--it's a cool. It did get pretty loud pretty quickly once more people started coming in, though. The menu is simple and easy to look through. Drinks: I ordered an orange juice and didn't realize it was sparkling--not really what I was expecting, especially for $8. I also got the Nightshift brewed coffee, which was just okay. It's supposed to come with free refills, but our server never came back after taking our order, so that didn't end up happening. $7 for the coffee. Food: Both dishes were $15 each. The veggie frita was just alright (2/5). It had good chunks of potato, spinach, and egg, and I liked that I could swap the salad for fruit. But it was pretty burnt on the top and bottom, missing peppers, and overall just kind of bland. The chili verde burrito was also a 2/5. It was a good size with big chunks of meat and plenty of eggs, but it really lacked flavor and spice. It tasted a little better after adding salsa and hot sauce. Service: There were a lot of staff walking around, but not many actually checking in. Our server took our order and didn't come back--I had to ask someone else just to get the check. Experience with our server could have been more positive and inviting to encourage us to come back. Received no thank you for coming or notification that we left. Overall: We'll probably stick with our usual breakfast spots for now. Maybe it'll improve once they get their liquor license.

Arrived about 9 for breakfast on a Friday. They were packed but we were quickly seated at a table for two with a view of the ocean. Service was great and the food was excellent.

Love this place! The incredible view, wonderful service, and every item on the menu so far has been delicious. Don't tell anyone about the comfy chairs on the patio that come with a blanket. That's a special morning spot for my dog Buster and me!

Rounding up from 3.5 stars. This is a place I'd love to love, but service issues and inconsistency still need to be ironed out. I've had the huevos rancheros burrito twice now. The first time, I thought it was perhaps the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. More recently, it was lacking in both texture and flavor (even once I added some of their delicious salsa). The inclusion of chopped tater tots is a nice idea, but if they're soggy, it changes the whole nature of the dish. Note that the burritos can be a bit messy, so it would be helpful if they were served with napkins and silverware. Not everything is "finger food," and picking up chunks of scrambled eggs with one's hands isn't for everyone. I really enjoyed the iced blueberry matcha tea drink on my first visit. The "butterfly" lemonade on my second trip was visually appealing, but didn't "wow" me. Same goes for the chocolate chip walnut oatmeal cookie--good, but not really memorable. Looking forward to a future meal or snack there.

I ordered avocado toast and asked for a over medium egg with it. The server told me they don't make eggs here and that they only do boiled eggs, but I see everybody with scrambled eggs.

I wasn't even hungry and planned on eating ONE of the tiny skewers of mozzarella cheese with tomato and basil. That's it! But then the hummus and bread arrived, and I could see that was special. We are talking drool-inducing special! The bread was pizza bread, my friends! It was hot, it was crunchy on the outside, and soft and chewy to perfection on the inside! And that hummus, I have no idea what exactly was in it, but if Heaven was a food item, that's what it would be! Then we ordered the soup of the day. This potato leek soup we ordered ran out, so they brought us this alternate one (some tomato bisque one), so I was disappointed....until I took a sip. It gets especially crowded when they have live music playing inside (which also gets very loud in the small space). The sfatt have been friendly for the most part. My friends and I have run into a few situations where staff have been a little rude or haven't addressed messy tables for a long time when it's busy. Overall though, I do enjoy eating here and will continue to support this brewery in downtown Pacific Grove.

I'm from Reno and we don't have any good British pubs so when going out of town I always look to see if there's a good looking one where we will be going. I saw this place on Yelp and the first thing I noticed was how legit the fish and chips looked. Once I saw that you can get sides of mushy peas or curry sauce, I knew we had to check it out (this is how you would order fish n chips in the UK!) Stopped by on a Friday evening, it was definitely busy but we got lucky and got seated right away. The live band outside was a nice touch. Now I will say, the menu here is fairly small, with only a few British items. But the items they do have are very authentic and I was primarily going for the fish n chips anyway. Great big pieces of cod, batter was beautifully fluffy. The chips are perfectly thick cut. My only very very minor complaint is that I do wish the curry sauce was a little thicker and less spicy, more like a traditional chip shop curry sauce but that's just my preference. I still love that it's even offered! My husband had the BBC (bangers, beans and chips) and he loved it. I tried a bit of his banger and it was really good. Nice thick pork sausage. They had a good looking beer selection, I will have to try some on a future visit when I'm not pregnant! I was really really pleased with my meal here. Please add some bangers and mash though! The vibes are here but it all stops there…read more.. Let me start by saying that I love this place. Just needs a bit of cleaning up on their transparency. The 'keep it open' policy is something I appreciate but would also appreciate an itemized receipt when you close out. Here's why to keep your eye out when drinking at this establishment. 1- when you close out, it's helpful to verify what you consumed to ensure you're corrected charged. My receipt was the merchant copy and the customer copy. Itemized? Really had to ask for it. 2- the merchant copy - it asked for a tip and the total amount. When we closed out our beer and well drink, it was ~$28. Weird, right? So my thought was that they clearly charged something incorrect. 3- when there's something automatically charged, it had better be communicated to me upfront. The gratuity was automatically added and IT WAS 20%! No sign, no way to notify me that it was already added. It didn't even say so on the merchant or customer copy. On top of that, the copy asked for AN ADDITIONAL TIP. For something like that, I had better get great service. 4- The service here is spotty at best. There's usually one bartender for the often busy bar. Not a problem, usually. But with that high of a price, better serve your customers well and have a fully stocked bar. 5 - the options were lacking. Two things you'd think would be stocked but weren't - espresso (come on, even Kahlua) and apple liqueur for an espresso martini and appletini were too much to ask for, I guess. Overall, a disappointment. Good thing they have the vibes nearly right. But awful business practices.
