They did an excellent job with the alterations, despite some ruching detail and pockets in the skirt that could have complicated the tailoring. I am very happy with the results and excited to wear this dress for my friend's wedding! I thought the pricing was fair for the work completed, and discounts were provided depending on payment type. They notified me at drop off that the dress would be done in 2-3 weeks, and it was ready for pick up the VERY next day! I will be bringing more clothes here in the future.

Sometimes though if you're like me, far from that, you just need a tailor to repair some clothes. In my case I had a couple pairs of pants with popped buttons. I dropped them off and the lady, perhaps Elsta, was kind. She took my info and told me I should hear back in 5 days and took down my info. She did warn me that if I did not hear back, to call. I understand it gets busy here, the rack when you walk in is loaded with clothes and another with dresses. I came back in a week later as I got busy and was close by coming off work and it was not ready. The lady was very apologetic and told me it would be ready the following day. Sure, enough I got a text the following afternoon to come pick up. The pants were nicely and tightly rebuttoned. Only cost $11 which is less than I expected. So, if I inevitably have to bring more buttons to be sewn or zippers to be repairs, I'll come back.

They had done a fine job about a handful of times for cleaning other items (eg, Reformation dress and blouse, wool sweater) that I brought in for cleaning prior so that's why I give them 1 star. This most recent time I brought in 4 items (2 for repair and 2 for cleaning). They have let me down on multiple levels due to ruining 2 items, charging me for cleaning that I didn't ask for nor was informed of, and not having a way for these issues to be resolved in a timely or convenient way. Specific facts follow for these issues next. I have also included photos. First, they pilled all over an entire and brand new Reformation dress that I had only worn once and which was not pilled at all when brought in. The rep explained that pilling can happen in the dry clean process, depends on the brand and fabric composition, that they followed dry clean instructions, that they cannot fix the pilling, and did not have the ability to refund me. I had previously brought a different reformation dress in red of the same fabric composition (see pic), which had been cleaned and only showed very slight to no pilling, which suggests to me user error that warrants a refund (I would think they wouldn't refund me $225 for what I paid for the dress, but at the very least the cleaning fee that resulted in pilling the item entirely leaving it to look much much older and used). Second, I was informed that they had "rejected" to repair a zipper on a small pouch I brought in. The rep informed me that the seamstress may have declined to repair the pouch due to fabric issues. This is fine and possibly reasonable, but, they also returned the pouch damaged. Specifically, beyond the zipper not working, the seems are now detached and unraveling. I'm not sure why the seamstress didn't repair it back to the way it was in its original condition? Third, they repaired velcro on a Patagonia jacket, which I asked for. However, upon pick-up, I was charged $20 for cleaning it. I had not asked for this. They rep informed me that it is their policy "to clean all items for alterations due to COVID" and apologized for not having told me this when I dropped the items off; however, again she was not able to refund me for this mistake. Lastly, the rep told me that I could call back in the mornings to speak to the manager about refunds. I am traveling out of the country and have a work schedule that doesn't really allow for time flexibility for things like this. So, this additional step creates a burden on me as a customer. I hope that in the future that they can train reps to make reasonable decisions about when refunds are warranted and to be able to provide this to the customer without additional burden, inconvenience, and disappointment placed on the customer. Unfortunately, they have lost my trust and I will not be returning to this business. This saddens me because I had previously been very happy with the cleaning I had received up to this point and really do appreciate their using green practices. It's too bad it didn't work out but I don't want to support a business that charges me for things I didn't ask for, ruins my items, and can't give me refunds without my doing additional legwork at hours I'm not free even though they made mistakes.

I have also referred a number of customers to them in both Seattle and Tacoma. When I requested a quote this week, the price had gone up 33.6% since my last cleaning in November 2024 (initially quoted in September 2024) for a 6 x 9 rug ($189.49 to $253.25, both after tax). After I accepted the quote they told me that there is now a $300 minimum for pickup/dropoff service. I have always utilized the free pickup/dropoff service since my husband and I don't have a car. This policy change is not advertised on their website, and less than 30 days ago (July 25, 2025) they advertised this service being free. https://www.facebook.com/FuzzyWuzzyRug/photos/free-pickup-deliverydont-lift-a-finger-well-pick-it-uptoo-busy-to-drop-off-your-/1338285658299815/?_rdr I was willing to pay more because, sure, the cost of business has gone up and we've had good experiences with this company previously. But being asked to pay 60% more including the delivery minimum for the same service received less than a year ago was a lot to stomach.

After becoming familiar with one of…read morethe employees and mentioning what I did for work, I began experiencing packages going missing. At the time, I stopped using the service because I no longer felt comfortable trusting them with my mail. Recently, I needed a mailbox again for a new business. When I signed up, that employee was no longer there, and everything went smoothly for the first few months. However, after I started leaving USPS outgoing packages for pickup, packages once again went missing. I later realized the same employee still worked there and remembered me. Based on my experiences, I no longer trust this business with outgoing packages or sensitive deliveries, and I ultimately closed my mailbox account. I would strongly recommend using caution if you plan to leave packages in their outgoing mail area. What I found especially unprofessional was that when I went in to report the issue and asked for the owner's contact information so they could review the security cameras and investigate when the packages were dropped off, I was told they would not provide the owner's contact information.

This business is under the Yelp list of 24-hour access storage places in Seattle. I was completely shocked that this business in my old neighborhood of the U District was now 24 hours! I didn't pick Econo when I was renting my space the first time partly because of their limited access hours, so imagine my surprise to find Econo Mini Storage right at the top of the list!** All I could remember about this place was very limited accessibility, and that the man I spoke to back then actually demanded to know why I would possibly need to access my things after 3:00 p.m. on a weekend when I inquired why the doors were locked so early. I do keep later hours than most people for reasons that are no one else's business because I'm a grown-up! But even by Seattle standards, 3pm is pretty early to assume everyone is done for the day. So I called today and asked if they are 24 hours. He said no of course not, and when I mentioned the Yelp list he denied being on it. **It's also the only business on the 24-hour list actually located in Seattle.
