This place makes some great cheesesteaks! I was part of a group of people where we tried various versions of their cheesesteaks (with/without onions, steak/chicken, other variations such a buffalo and soprano) and they were all great. We also ordered their cheese fries which were very good because they put their own wiz sauce on them. I am normally hesitant of wiz, I dislike canned wiz, but their in house wiz made me want to lick the paper when the fries were gone. Great nostalgic "kids of the 90s" mural on the wall and the Lego wall was also entertaining. There is a parking lot around the back side of the block that can be used for free off street parking. Seating inside consisted of around 5 tables for 4 people and a counter area that can seat around 5- so there is seating but its limited for bigger groups or if its busy. There is additional seating outside for when the weather is nicer. read more

This review is for the new Madison Farms location. First, I've never been to the original WK, so this was our first experience. Last night, we got the original Whiz steak with onions as well as the Judgement Day. Both were very good! I think next time I will do the steak and onions with provolone vs whiz. In my opinion only, The whiz can get a bit gummy and cover the taste of the very tasty steak. The Judgement, with the spicy peppers etc was a cleaner flavor and I will absolutely get again. Struggling to not go back today, especially after I saw that they have roast pork (after I had already ordered). I love roast pork and have had some good ones in Philly, so can't wait to try from WK! Most importantly, I was VERY impressed with the customer service. Jerry was at the counter when I ordered and he had a perfect, welcoming demeanor. As I waited for my steaks, I heard he and the other staff interacting with the customers and the feel was consistent. I live too close to this restaurant, so may need to jog there vs driving :-). Ordered for the first time today. Saw the guy working the fryer drop a pierogi in the floor and pick it up. At least he threw it away. Would have be nice to have changed his gloves. The steak sandwiches weren't that great either. Had chicken fingers and fries and they crammed it into a small bowl. By the time we got home you couldn't eat the fries. I won't spend $60 plus at this place again. I'd rather eat a steak sandwich from J's and that's not saying a lot. read more

Everything about this place is great. I've had it delivered a few times and eaten here when they're at local events/ festivals. We just ate inside for the first time last week and everything was great. We each got a cheesesteak and the garlic parm pirogies. The Buffalo chicken cheesesteak was perfect. Good bread- good portions. The pirogies are amazing. The staff was very friendly and came off as super genuine. Best cheesesteak shop in the area for their non traditional sandwiches. The judgement day is my jam, and their buffalo perogies are amazing (but a little soggy). I suggest getting an order of normal perogies and a side of buffalo to dip in - keeps their crunch, and are worth a trip all on their own. read more

Best cheesesteak I've had outside of Philadelphia. [Even better than Pat's or Geno's in Philly - they are only for the tourists.] The Wiz Kidz steak had great beef, not chopped too small or too big, pieces were just right. The roll had good texture and was just chewy enough. Good cheese, and the roll was stuffed pretty well with meat & cheese. The only criticism, it's minor, the beef seemed a skosh over-seasoned, with a noticeable taste like black pepper. But this sandwich beats other Lehigh Valley establishments that say they have "Philly Cheesesteaks." read more

This could very well be my favorite cheese steak in the valley. I got the Wiz Kid (no onions) and pierogies. The cheese sauce was perfect as was the roll. The pierogies were well done unfortunately I missed the little sour cream packet in the bottom of the bag. My only nitpicks is I wish the steak was cut a little less fine, but that's is a personal preference thing, the parking situation (which isn't really their fault). I'd also like to see them deliver or work with uber eats or grub hub for delivery. I would absolutely suggest Wiz Kidz for your biweekly cheese steak fix. read more

The place is kinda cool.. decoration wise but the cheesesteaks are pretty much hamburger helper without the noodles on a bun... don't believe the hype.. had a bunch of friends say the same thing so I went in low expectations and they were right. I was excited to finally try this place as I passed it so many times. I've heard and read some good reviews HOWEVER I was utterly disappointed. I ordered online and was instructed on 20 minutes for pickup. As I arrived only part of my order was ready, so the girl told me it would only be 5-10 minute wait for chicken fingers. That 5-10 minutes turned into 20 minutes and still didn't have my complete order. As I looked around and not again acknowledged to even update me about my order, I noticed that the meat is made in bulk and just chillin under a heat lamp, fries lined up for anyone that walked in to order and then I noticed the cook not wearing his mask correctly with his nose not covered. I'm not one to complain as I WAS eager to try this place. After the 20 Minute wait for my kids chicken fingers and still didn't get them I just ended up walking out. Maybe some new staff would make this place better at some point. So disappointed and has to take my business else where read more

I placed my delivery order online and everything went fine. Order was delivered in a timely manner until I realized it was only part of my order. A $70+ order that was missing 40% of the items ordered. I called and told them and they said they would get it ready and have it out to us right away. After and hour of nothing I called back only to find out that they had the food ready but we were now supposed to pick it up. We were told it would be dropped off and now we were told to pick it up. When I asked why we were told one thing but expected to do another I was told that they made a mistake telling us they would drop it off. We were on the hook to pick it or not get it. When I said this was a problem as we ordered delivery I was told that it was basically our problem that they made the mistake. If we would not come get it, too bad you are not getting it. The food was OK, but this kind of service is absolutely terrible. I have worked in many customer service industries and if I ever said these things to a customer I would probably have been fired on the spot. This was directly from the manager who was both clueless and useless in the same proportions. We finally ordered some food from another area business that understands what a delivery order actually is. It is a shame that the staff is fairly useless as the food was pretty good. i would never order from this location again and I am only writing this to warn other prospective buyers to be fore warned that you may not get the full order and that it is your problem if you do not get it. Also, this was the first, and now only time we ordered from this business. Not a good first impression. read more

We visited with the entire family, so I was able to sample a variety of their sandwiches (Wiz, 610 and Soprano). Every last one was delicious and the sizing was generous!! I am very picky about meat, and was pleasantly surprised to find that theirswas tender, not stringy or tough at all. Plain and Garlic Parmesan fries were also tasty and after seeing a few other parties enjoying shakes, I'll be adding that to our order next time! Will also be trying one of their breadless bowls. I'd give a higher rating but repeated order issues pose a problem. The service is fine. The young girl at the counter is super nice! She is always very nice! The food is good. The cheesesteak (with a combination of cheeses), the hand cut fries & the pierogis are delicious. Every time I go in, place my order & go - I've paid for items that I don't receive. This recent time, I paid for fries & didn't get them. Everything was wrapped up in the bag in foil so I assumed the fries were in there (since you couldn't see what was wrapped up so I thought - I ordered 3 items - 3 items were in the bag. When I went to asked for a condiment for the fries, that's when when the nice girl realized I didn't get fries. When I asked the owner? after he was done flicking through channels on the tv with his associate, if I could get my fries that I paid for - he was irritated by my audacity to ask to get what I paid for. He was slamming things around & finished the fries. I left after that with my full order. If I hadn't asked for the condiment - another order out the door with missing items paid for would have happened again. This time it was caught while I was still in the store. The other time I called in and complained I paid for an item that was missing - the response was nothing (& I mentioned again in person about the last order when I did this order - no resolution). Food delicious. The young girl at the counter is so nice. Items missing every order so far is a problem. I hope this changes going forward. read more

My review is based on the customer service. The food was great. We had the 610, Cali Steak, pierogies, buffalo pierogies, and garlic parm fries. The fries were soggy but the rest of the food was great! We tried to order online but were unable to so we went in to order and wait. Not one person greeted us. Since we already knew what we wanted we thought it'd be a quick order but instead we stood at the counter for almost ten minutes while the tall man behind the register blatantly ignored us. He did everything from straightening the pens on the counter, straightening the order tickets, talking to co workers about person things until he FINALLY turned and said "You know what you want?" and after every item we ordered he responded with a simple "K" over and over. He walked away while we were paying and came back, handed our slip to us to sign and walked away again. When our food was ready the girl handed it to us and didn't say anything. Not thank you or have a great day; nothing. I don't think I have ever experienced such awful customer service anywhere. It's a shame the food is really good but bc of that interaction, we will never go back. read more

I tried Whiz Kids on my way home from work the other day and I can't say enough great things. The menu is filled with different options and spins on your traditional cheesesteaks. I went with the Judgement day and I was extremely impressed. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients that they use. Finished the meal out with a Reese's Pieces shake. It was delicious. Best part of my experience was the staff. The guy at the counter was really knowledgeable about the menu and pointed me in the right direction as it was my first time there. We even chatted about sports while I waited for my order to be complete. Def going to be my go to takeout and delivery place in Bethlehem. Can't wait to try the Soprano! read more
