While passing through Redlands, my wife and I decided to stop by Wok-In Café since she had tried it before and was open to coming back. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, so we were able to sit anywhere. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Beef, and the food did take some time to come out--which usually signals that it's made fresh, and that part was appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience was mixed due to the atmosphere. The kids sitting at the table next to us appeared to be the owner's children, and they were very loud and running around the dining area. There didn't seem to be much effort to keep things under control, and it made the environment feel unprofessional. At times, it honestly felt more like being at Chuck E. Cheese than a sit-down restaurant, which took away from enjoying the meal. The service itself was okay, nothing terrible, but the lack of attention to the disruptive noise was disappointing. Final Thoughts: The food was decent and seemed freshly prepared, but the noisy environment--especially with the owner's kids running around--really impacted our visit. Because of that, I'm not sure we would come back again.

Awesome orange chicken. Food takes a while to get to the table but it's a sign that everything is made fresh. Nice family owned restaurant.

I've been coming here for about three years. My to go to is their Lunch specials which range around $10. You pick a soup, a rice, and your main. It comes with an egg roll and small salad. I'm always left feeling satisfied with the quality and amount of food I received. The orange chicken is delicious! There is actual orange rind in the sauce so this has me feeling like there sauces are homemade. I've also gotten the House Kung Pao which is great if you can't decide between beef chicken or shrimp. You get all three. The inside is always clean and roomy. There is adequate space between all the tables. In terms of service, they do a great job being very direct and respectful. There can be a language barrier at times so please be respectful of that. This was no issue for me. If you are in downtown Redlands craving some Chinese food, I highly recommend this spot.

Authentic Chinese Food we have been trying to find a good place we finally did. The pan fried chicken noodles / chicken fried rice was just like a place I grew up with. They have a great lunch menu.

I am hooked on the Chicken Rancher on black pepper focaccia sandwhich Warm sandwich and they can add on the side something you may want for the sandwich if they have it.. The salads are good also. Service is good and most customer service employees go out of the way to accommodate.. The food prep staff are fairly quick with turning out orders, even at the drive thru..However, a tip would be to check your bag that all items are in there especially smaller items like spreads and chips etc.. I had things missing a couple of times.. if you catch it they are good at correcting the error. If you want pastries, get in there before eve as it seems they only make a certain amount and that goes for favorite items as well. Ambiance: Average only with an interesting drive thru. If you're not careful turning into the lot, you could Miss Panera's drive thru altogether.. Outdoor eating area, not a fan of the setting.. also, I do believe this Panera is new to that area.. I would recommend it if you are in the area or live out there as Panera's are few.. 3.75 stars. Enjoy..Til next time

For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. His robot server sidekick also sang happy birthday! I did feel like they were understaffed because the lobby hostess had to find the server for me several times when I asked for our cake and the check. Overall, it's a great place for large groups and celebrations.

The Karaage Chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce for it make it chefs kiss. It was sweet, tangy, and had a little heat to it. I loved the crispiness of the gyoza dumplings but some people might feel they're too crispy. I had to get the Gyu set again. It comes with Filet Mignon Miso butter, Kalbi, and Shaved Ribeye. It also comes with Shishito Peppers and Mushrooms. You grill these items to your liking. That yuzu butter on those filet mignon medallions is fire. The meat is so tender and I suggest preparing it to medium rare. The kabli comes marinated and it gives it a nice sweet glaze after grilling. I like these with a little char on the edges. The shaved ribeye has no flavor but I like to grill it with a little bit of the dipping sauce poured on it. The service was amazing. Yvette was our waitress again and she's absolutely fabulous. I will always request her if she's on shift! She's tentative and on point with her level of service. The ambiance has an Asian contemporary feel. There's TVs with closed caption to watch, artwork on the walls, and during the day the natural lighting comes through nicely. They do offer a happy hour but we missed it. My first time ever trying this and it will definitely not be my last. It was so good! All the savory and sweet flavors combined with the different textures from the soft and crisp samosas to the crunchy raw onions, just wow! They were kind enough to honor my request for extra chutneys on the side, so I added those liberally to each bite and put it on top of a piece of garlic naan. Mind-blown!! Deliciousness Rating: 10/5 - Saag Paneer (part of combo): Probably one of the best Saag I've ever had. Not super blended and mushy like other places. This still had texture and was really flavorful. Wish I had ordered more. Deliciousness Rating: 5/5 - Aloo Gobi (part of combo): This was served in a thin wet sauce and I'm used to the style that is sautéed dry, so this version was not my preference. I also had 1 piece of cauliflower in the entire cup. Probably won't order again. Deliciousness Rating: 3/5 - Chicken Tikka Masala (part of combo): A little too sweet for my preference, but the chicken was moist and the sauce was creamy. Deliciousness Rating: 3/5 - Garlic naan was perfectly cooked. The bread was thick and soft with a hint of garlic. Deliciousness Rating: 4/5 - Mango Lassi: Sadly, I never received. Make sure you have specify indoor dining. The ambiance is relaxed with upbeat music playing in the background. It's a great place for a date. We ordered an espresso martini, house ricotta, pan seared salmon, and alla lori pizza. Everything had so much flavor which is what surprised me. Portions are decent. The bread that came with the house ricotta had so much flavor and they served a generous amount of ricotta. The carrots with the ricotta surprised me. It was so delicious that I ate them by itself. The alla lori pizza was my overall favorite. I never thought of adding honey to pizza. I will come back for the pizza alone. Perfect blend of sweet and savory. The service was super friendly and fast. 5/5 star review Espresso martini: 8/10 (strong coffee taste) House ricotta: 9/10 (wish it came with more bread) Pan seared salmon: 9/10 Alla lori: 10/10

Overall great experience and looking forward to the next time I go here!
