I have been to this restaurant a handful of times either by myself or with some friends when I'm passing through the area. I would frequently order the 2 item combos, getting the half and half (chow mein / fried rice) with a mixture of tangerine chicken and beef & broccoli. Or sometimes the half & half with sweet and sour pork with the kung pao chicken. Each to go box is filled to the top leaving no space for air. If you want "SRIRACHA" they have bottles of it that you can use on your food while your there or squirt some in your box before you head on out the door. I know panda express (I, no longer go there) leaves a lot of air in their to go boxes when you order. I've been told hundreds of times that PF Chang is like the expensive version of panda express (so never going there, that's for sure). Remember to bring Cash (ONLY), no plastic. read more

I can't say enough great things about this place! I haven't tried anything I didn't like from here. The fried chicken & tangerine chicken are amazing. The chow-mien is die for; I'm typically a fried rice person so I think that says a lot! This place knows how to serve food because they are not shy to serve HEALTHY portions. Just watching them serve my food is great. I wish I would have taken pictures or a video of it to share with you all but I highly recommend you visit to know what I mean. Great tasting hole in the wall restaurant located in the Albertson's shopping center with great prices and unsurpassable huge portions! This place packs their containers to the max that you can barely close the container if you're lucky. I usually get a 3-item combo that I share with my kids and it's divided into two whole meals for all of us for under $10 out the door. The lady who's always at the front serving when I've gone is always nice and she definitely hooks me up. I usually tip her a nominal $1 or $2 as well and she always takes care of my daughters with cookies as well. I've never dined in, but my to go containers are always packed well and ready for take out. My favorite items here are their Tangerine Chicken (daughters' favorite!!!) and BBQ Pork which I'd highly recommend. On another note, I've gone right before closing and ordered the BBQ pork and when I got it, it was kinda dry. But it was still edible. Personal tip: don't go right before closing. This is my go to place for Chinese as it's conveniently very close to me and it's delicious with a lot of bang for your buck. I'd recommend giving The Wok a try. The 1 item floods the back of the "to-go" container. Generous portion that can go a long way(2 meals). Food is pretty fresh and taste good. The location seems older, but still fairly clean. We got 2 trays and let me tell you, one of these things will feed a whole Hispanic family!!!This place is delicious and these Asian people pack the sh*t out of your food. I'm so full that my stomach is about explode. We got two trays that consisted of half and half, sweet & sour pork, beef & broc, char siu, Kung pao chicken. All the sweet and sour meats are cooked with the same sauce so it's up to your preference of the meat. The total for the two entrees are about $13-14. 3 stars for the amount of food. The fact that the Asian lady packed the boxes so full that she could barely close them was a rare and amusing sight. Made me excited to go home and try the food...husband also had to hold the bag to make sure the boxes don't pop open in the car :) Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. I got half rice half chow mein + broccoli beef and teriyaki chicken. The sides were REALLY salty and the beef was not fresh. There was a weird aftertaste. It was also flour-y and mushy :( the chicken was much better...again very salty though. Husband got BBQ pork and black pepper steak. The pork was rather tasty, but again the beef had problems. I'm starting to see a trend here... Bottom line. There's a ridiculous amount of food for the price (like what everyone else already mentioned). Food was mediocre at best. MAY go back if we're desperate (because I'm too lazy to cook), starving, and want leftovers to bring for lunch on the next day...but note to self: avoid all beef! read more

This review is based solely on cleanliness. Anytime you order veggies with your combo instead of either rice or chow mein, the lady will scoop the veggies into a box, close the box lid, then tip the box over the pan of veggies so all the juice/sauce falls back into the pan. THIS IS SO GROSS bc what's left in the pan is contaminated juices! This practice alone should lower their health score. Also, what is the point of the server wearing gloves if you're not going to change them after collecting money? Is it to keep her hands clean?! It seems more like a facade of cleanliness. Because the server keeps the same gloves on after touching money, the next person she serves food to will be receiving contaminated food. DISGUSTING! I REALLY HOPE that the health bureau will do something about this. read more

My goto is half rice half chow mein, teriyaki chicken (no sauce), BBQ pork, and string beans. Get the 3 item combo and you can share it with 2 people. This place is a few blocks from my office, and I love it. Cheap, fast, huge portions, and yummy. I love to grab a lunch special, spray some sriracha sauce on it, and go sit in bliss at my desk. Have you ever found yourself in the middle of an unplanned family gathering and realized everyone still needed to be fed, so you went on Yelp and typed in "Chinese party tray" in the search bar, in hopes of stumbling across Wok Restaurant? No? Okay, that's fine, but I have, and I'm soooo glad I gave this place a shot. This little spot is now our new go-to for party tray quick fixes. Not only do they have affordable party trays in multiple sizes, but they are also able to prepare delicious food in such a timely manner (we ordered 5 party trays on the spot and they accommodated us & got us out of there in less than 30 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!! that's amazing!!!!!) The lady working the front of the house was such a sweet heart. She offered us samples to make it quick and easier for us to order our food. She also took care of us while we waited for our order by providing us drinks and egg rolls to munch on. Um how sweet is that?!?!
