    Moo goo gai pan
    calla f.

We have been coming here for 6 years. Spotty service with takeout. Today we ordered two #3 combos; first was Chicken Szechuan with hot vegetable delight. Second was also #3 combo with moo goo gai pan and sautéed mixed vegetables. There was no discernable Chicken Szechuan. It was almost all rice. The moo goo gai pan, if it indeed was there, may have been a dab buried under the lo mein. I'm attaching pictures we sent. The owner said our order was as requested. Do not do carry out. It is definitely sub par with what you get when you eat in and not as pictured. After 6 years as a loyal customer we will NOT be back. So sad.

Hit and miss, depending on who's working or type of day they are having. They deliver then they dont. Frustrating, miss the old owners.

First time eating here. Recommended by many co-workers. My husband and I each got the combo and…read moredecided to forego the lo mein and rice (keto diets). We got the Teriyaki Chicken, BBQ Pork, the last dish was chicken with veggies - there are a few flavor options for this, such as Bourbon Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, etc. I got the Kung Pao. The food was pretty good. However, the chicken in the Kung Pao was kinda gross. It looked like it had been chewed and put back in there. Taste was "off". The Kung Pao is supposed to have some "heat" (flavor) to it, though it wasn't hot at all. Which was fine. We chose to get the meal without any added sauces. And everything was really good without sauce! The reason we do this is 1) Keto diet (sugar) and 2) (possibility of) MSG. Although, I don't think, from what we had, which was grilled with sauce, that there is MSG in their sauces. If so, very little. I can taste MSG, and I didn't taste it. The meats (except the Kung Pao) had a nice grill char to them which enhanced their flavor. We chose this place for lunch knowing that it was cafeteria style (dished/served by the employees) particularly, because one has only so much time for lunch when they are working. So it worked out very well. Very fast, with hardly any wait at all. I saw that one person who reviewed was upset with the cafeteria style service... I'm not sure what his qualm was. It isn't like random people are breathing on the food. It is the same people that cook it, so what is the problem.. And yes, food is served in styrofoam containers with plasticware. It IS a "fast food" Chinese restaurant afterall. Is it my favorite Chinese place in town. No. At least not at this time. Would we go back? Absolutely!

We got there around 11:30 and the place, that it is small was empty. The server got happy when we told her that we got recommended by a friend from Las Cruces. She told us that they were preparing a large to go order so we just arrived on time. She explained a few things on the extensive menu and pointed out to their lunch specials that cost $8.85. My wife ordered the Teriyaki chicken and I ordered the Tofu Homestyle option. The price includes a soup and either steamed or fried rice. The platter was generous, we liked specially the Hot & Sour Soup. After we arrived several customers came to eat there as well as picking up food. The server was fantastic, on of the best we ever had; very pleasant, fast and courteous. We will be back soon.

We had the Shrimp w/ blackbean sauce, BBQ pork egg foo young, Spicy fried rice and spring rolls. All of items were delicious and the servings were very generous. The Spicy fried rice was quite a treat and highly recommended as an introduction to the chefs capabilities. Service was amazing and treated us like "regulars" on our first visit. Our new favorite spot in El Paso for authentic Chinese cuisine.

Let me tell you- if you order appetizers, eat 'em fast cuz the food comes out quickly!! We had the cream cheese wontons and spring rolls (on separate menu) good but wontons need more filling and it was not as thick as I am used to. Ambiance is casual and nice. The decor is unique and plenty of tables. The food. I ordered 2 dishes and my wife ordered her orange glazed chicken which it does have a kick to it but good. I ordered chicken lo mein and sweet walnut shrimp. Lo mein was delicious and plenty!! The shrimp was good but I didn't realize they were breaded and breading is my only complaint. Too much breading! They were almost empty. The dough was pretty good but nothing to write home about and without much filling it just felt like dough. The sauce seemed like just the chilli crisp you get on the side of dumplings so it felt there just wasn't much to this dish with it also not having muhc filling. The serving size seemed small for the price. The plan was to have a full dinner also the Brown Sugar Rice Cakes (egg free and dairy free) for dessert but we decided to move on after trying the first dish. It's nice they have clearly labeled vegan options and the outside seating was nice but unfortunately we were not impressed.
