My 18 year old water heater finally had enough and developed a leak. This was Thursday night. I tried to 'handle' the issue myself before calling for a plumber in the morning but the water shut off valve was stuck tight and all I could really do was place buckets under the leak and keep emptying the buckets as they filled up. Needless to say it was not a fun way to spend an evening. Called a few different plumbers the next day hoping beyond hope that someone would be able to make time for us given our situation. Wolcott called me first, told me to expect a technician between 8:00 and 12:00. Grant showed up at 8:30 (much to my surprise), quickly diagnosed that my water heater was at end of life, stopped the leakage, attached a hose to drain the water in the tank and while that was happening went our got me my new heater and had it installed in a matter of a couple hours. He then took the time to explain the workings of the new heater to me, asked me to call if we ran into any issues and was out by 11:00. Its a huge relief to have the issue addressed and to have hot water again. I hope to never have these sorts of issues but I know thats not gonna happen. When they do I wont need to think twice about calling Wolcott again. I greatly appreciate the timely and efficient service and highly recommend these folks. read more

Our pipes froze during the recent storm and most plumbers were 2-3 weeks out and Wolcott got a guy out to us within 2 days! They sent Joel Miller out and I kept telling Joel that he was too big a guy to be a plumber and crawl under our house. But, Joel was able to cut an access door in our front porch to access the pipe that connected to our water supply and the leaks were easily accessed from that access hole. We have lived in this house for 20 years and I have always wanted a front access point to our water lines and now thanks to Joel I have it. He repaired the leak and went above and beyond and replaced the old brittle CPVC from front to back of the house. So, now we have all new supply piping to the house. Joel also did a few little things that made his work top notch. After the repairs he came into the home and made sure everything was working correctly and he also gave me a quote on a new hot water heater that we want to replace. We used to have Perfect Climate service our previous house so after getting ripped off from the company that serviced our new house for the previous owner, I called Perfect Climate/Wolcott in desperation. My husband and I both talked with Ken who was knowledgeable and professional, we knew we were in good hands. Ken came out spent a lot of time trying to get to the bottom of why our furnace was turning on and then off, he noticed that the previous company did not install an important part on the furnace and was most likely why our furnace was not working. He came up wit a solution to add that missing piece and fixed it! What a relief it is to have the heat working again! We will use Wolcott from now on, I am really happy I called, thanks so much!!! This company appears to be particular about who they hire and displayed extreme efficiency and competence from at least three perspectives. I had a perplexing problem after installing a new water heater. I called and got a very nice person who asked a lot of questions and listened attentively to the problem and set me up for the following day. Grant, our plumbing technician arrived well briefed on the problem . He so professional and courteous, and he was as determined as I was anxious to get the problem diagnosed. It was an unusual situation but he got to the bottom of it. During the visit he consulted with Joel, one of the plumbers, who was able to determine the source of the problem over the phone. After a horrible experience with another service that left me with out water service on a Friday night, I called Wolcott Plumbing /Gresham OR and experienced plumbers came out within an hour and restored water to the house with a plan to return to finish fixing the problem. I was put at ease and was very satisfied with the job done. Jake and Anthony returned and replaced pipes to restore a clogged line and a pipe that was leaking to my bathroom and installed a new faucet. I am so grateful for the work they did. They were very professional ,respectful and great to work with. The work was done in a short amount of time and the price was reasonable. We contacted Wolcott Services because we were concerned about a break in our sewer line that may be attracting rats (we also put a call into Vector Control). Michael arrived and discussed our concerns with us and, given that we'd had a scope a year prior and it was fine, he said it was very unlikely anything had happened since then. He said rats are just around, probably making a home under the big tree in our yard. In any case, he said he could do the scope if we wanted, but that he'd rather save us the $150 fee. We had also asked about a couple other concerns and he gave us helpful information and ultimately charged us nothing for his visit. We really appreciate the time he took to explain everything and we will definitely be using Wolcott for any future plumbing needs! read more

This company came to fix my plumbing so I could install a new dishwasher. My plumbing was a mess. They gave me a reasonable quote in a few minutes, and the two guys made short work of it. That was all I expected from a plumbing company, competent work at a price that I thought was fair. They also evaluated my homes entire plumbing system and gave me an overview. They crawled under the house so they could be sure what they were talking about. That was unexpected and nice to see.
