I ordered about 7 pizzas online and they did add a mandatory 20% tip and they don't pick up the phone, so you couldn't even order via phone. And then when picking up said pizzas, which was quite a lot to carry, there was no offer to help carry them, paper plates, napkins, etc.. And, some of the pizzas were not cut through (and when they do cut the pies, they only cut them in 4 large slices). Again, just some customer service opportunities, especially if you're going to force a 20% gratuity on orders, but not really offer any great service. So, there it is. Nantucket prices, for solid pizza. Ordering online wasn't the best UX, but you get what you get, sometimes.

Her abrasive comments and rude demeanor made me extremely uncomfortable. Just a warning if you're eating out with a food allergy probably best to stay away. You'll be judged and then have to endure huffs and puffs like your business is unwelcome. I'm only giving three starts because our server was gracious, kind and everything the manager wasn't.

If it weren't for the $25/head charge for making a reservation we would have left before ordering but as it was, we split a drink and an appetizer with a mind to see how the evening progressed. Unfortunately, we left in search of a better option pretty quickly. The prosciutto mozzarella presented nicely, so much so that the table near us asked what we ordered, but sadly the tomatoes were not ripe and the balsamic was barely evident. The meat and cheese were still of the quality we would have expected at Salvatore's but they seem to have lost all of their passion for preparing food and sharing the flavors that excite them.
