This is a good wonton soup that is nice and filling and flavorful. Good service as well. Very nice atmosphere, and lovely dishes. I will have to try other dishes some time.

We've been here a few times lately since Noodle and Cafe changed owners (I want to give them some time before we try them again). Wonder Wok is the type of Chinese food that I like. Not too Americanized but something everyone in my family enjoys. We usually do takeout. We really enjoy the chow fun noodles and have been getting them each time. We tried the mu shu pork last time and that was fun. There were only about six pancakes that looked handmade but there never seem to be enough for how much filling there is! The yang zhou fried rice had the shrimp and ham chopped up small which worked well with the fried rice. The ham felt more like spam and didn't seem to have as much flavor. I was very excited to see that they had walnut shrimp but I was confused by what I got. Instead of the white sauce that usually comes with it, it seemed to be a sweet and sour sauce and there were bell peppers mixed in. I personally don't care for bell peppers so I was disappointed. We also got the orange chicken in the past and it came packaged separately from the sauce. It had more of a battered breading instead of the usual breading and the sauce was sort of like thickened orange syrup. We'll pass in the future. Overall, we like this place. Most dishes are $13-$17. They have a nice range of dishes and we'll probably keep trying things until we find our favorites. Ordering online is very convenient but it's tricky when the dishes don't have descriptions. Some do have a photo next to them though.

I ordered the dishes I'd usually order from an authentic Cantonese restaurant. I would say this is the best Chinese food I've had in Eugene!

Grad day but came early while the ceremonies were still going on. Able to get a seat for 6 for lunch right away. Casually elevated interior. Very flavorful and not too spicy - sichuan spicy dry noodle - mala spice which numbs the mouth a little but not overbearing - sweet and sour pork - I always order this dish. Right across the street was a parking lot that offered 3 hours free parking for customers. The food: House Noodle with Chopped Pork - my favorite dish. Their noodles are made in-house so the chew on them are great. Good flavors, salt level, and a ton of meat. Pork, Shrimp, & Chive Dumplings - big on filling, no skimping on shrimp. Scallion Pancakes - very thin and crispy. A bit on the greasy side but tasty. Braised Beef Noodle soup - same awesome in-house noodles with bits of beef, an egg, boy choy, and a good amount of bean sprouts. I'm used to these soups being packed with five spice and other ingredients - this one is pretty mildly flavored. Pork Xiao Long Bao - they have some soup, skin is on the thicker side and flavor was reasonable. It can serve as your XLB fix, but this was just ok. Other Yelpers wrote about service, but we didn't have any issues flagging people down. They also offered us sharing bowls without us asking for them. Overall, we were really happy with this meal.

Started with the fungus appetizer, it was cold, spicy and chewy perfection. We got the beef grill, spicy, vegetables perfectly crispy, meat perfectly tender and intense flavor throughout. Wish there was a bit more chicken and veggies but overall the noodles were delicious and savory sweet with nicely cooked chicken, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. What surprised me was that most of the customers were Westerners--it's hard to imagine that everyone can handle such bold, heavy flavors, but I decided to give it a try. Environment: The overall lighting is quite dim, with black tables and black chairs. The ambiance is also on the darker side. Taste: We ordered shrimp wontons, dan dan noodles, and a bowl of maocai (a type of spicy boiled dish). The maocai was quite watery, not at all like the rich, thick broth of boiled beef in chili sauce--the ingredients weren't very flavorful. The shrimp wontons were very fresh. The dan dan noodles were delicious. Service: The restaurant is run by a Chinese couple who moved to Eugene about 10 years ago. You can tell they really love this place and run the restaurant with great care. When I was paying, for some reason my card kept getting declined, but the owner actively helped me figure out a solution, which eventually eased the awkwardness. I hope they keep getting better and better!
