I visited Woori with a friend of mine, and we dined in. I ordered the sundubu jiggae which was as good, if not better, than what I've eaten in Koreatown. The stew had a bit of a spicy kick to it, but not overwhelming enough that it was too intense to eat. I enjoyed pouring spoonfuls of the broth into my bowl of rice and eating it with the complementary sides. The jiggae had a generous amount of delicious, melt-in-your-mouth tofu. My friend ordered the dolsot bibimbap and the miso soup, and cleaned her plate. The restaurant staff was kept busy with takeout orders throughout our meal, but service was friendly and we never felt rushed. I'm excited to come back and try more of their menu! read more

I already know that Woori is going to be a go-to whenever my husband and I want something quick and delicious for lunch or dinner. We were intrigued by the Yelp photos of the "special boxes" and each ordered one for lunch. We were so pleasantly shocked to see how much food showed up - it was so much more than we imagined based on the photos! It came with so many side dishes, a soup, and a hearty serving of rice. The marinade used for their meats was perfect - not too spicy, not too salty. I also appreciate how they use paper goods (vs plastic) for their soups and rice. They even included an extra sweet treat and a really nice handwritten thank you note. Everything was so reasonably priced and well-packaged. Only tried once so far but it was delicious. Jae yook tofu kimchi and Jajangmyeon were the highlights. Jae yook is a hot, spicy stir fried pork and kimchi accompanied by cold soft slices of tofu. Jajangmyeon is like thick udon noodles tossed in a rich black onion-y sauce with chunks of pork. Also comes with little bites of pickles and salad like they give you in the restaurant. read more

This place is such a welcome addition! We were starving for Korean options in south Brooklyn-- our main to go is Haenyeo but it's expensive and "fusion". We were hoping a really authentic Korean place would come up! We've had the bibimbap, kimchi pancake and ddukboki so far and we loved all of them. I wish the ddukboki was a touch spicier with less broth, but that's just my preference! All of our deliveries came with a super sweet note. read more

I highly recommend woori korean restaurant for anyone seeking for authentic Korean food. I've been going here since they opened during Pandamic. The quality of service and ingredients have only gotten better over time. I have almost tried out most of the dishes, and there isn't one dish that I wouldn't recommend!! One of my favorite dishes is yukgaejang (pulled beef soup). Their seafood pancake is so crispy outside and chewy inside! I can almost taste it even think about it.!! Also, you cannot go wrong with trying their bibimbap (regular or in hot stoned) paired it with soonduboo soup!! Go try for yourself! It will be a worth of visit!! read more

I've walked by this place many times but never actually went inside (seemed a bit out of place for the neighborhood) but food here was so good! so glad i discovered this place! it's now my go-to place for korean delivery in the area. i've ordered the galbitang multiple times - it's a beef short rib stew with glass noodles. the soup is light but so flavorful. the beef is tender and practically pulls apart on its own. leaves me satisfied every time. also tried kimchi fried rice which wasn't anything too special - a bit too oily for my taste. prices are reasonable. read more

My wife and I were huge fans of Woori in their original Cobble Hill location, and we were heartbroken when they closed down at the beginning of COVID. Woori was far and away the greatest and best Korean restaurant in Brooklyn, offering authentic and excellent tastes that other Korean restaurants in the area just could not deliver. I'm happy to say they've picked up right where they left off, and they're again saving us trips to Flushing and Fort Lee. This is the most delicious Korean food in the borough and we will be frequenting them quite often. read more

I came here on a friend's recommendation and am sad to say that it really disappoint. I was expecting authentic Asian flavors but neither the taste nor ingredients were. For example, I got the Jjajangmyeon and the noodles were straight up packaged spaghetti noodles! I couldn't believe it. However, I still gave it a shot because it had seafood but sad to say that it was not Jjajangmyeon. In addition, there were mussels in the dish and everyone who ate some had a stomach ache. It really seems like I came on an off-day. I may try it again in the future when I visit NYC but for now, not my go-to place. read more
