I spoke with the owner on a visit and he said he has owned this pizza place for 5 years. He works the location alone, and seems to work very hard. I feel maybe customers think he is being "rude" but actually it's a language barrier since English is his second language. The place is organized and he seems to be getting allot of orders from all of the online platforms. The restaurant itself is closed due to COVID 19. He explained he had staff, but had to let them go due to business being very slow. I was impressed at how clean the kitchen was on my visit, and speaking with him about the business, along with what has happened since COVID 19. First a tiny back story. There used to be to be a WCP on Marguerite and La Paz near the Ralph's and I ate there once and once only. The pizza was nothing good. So much cheese you thought you were just eating a mozzarella cheese stick with little bread and a tiny bit of sauce. It wasn't well balanced. Then they closed. To now today. My bf ordered from here and I was skeptical from the start. I opened the box and my eyes were surprised to seeing what looked like a nice looking pizza. The chef who put this one together knew what to do and made it properly. No hate to this location at all FYI. Everything from the toppings, the sauce and the dough was great! I see a lot of mixed reviews and It seems the low scores are for service. It's a one man show during the pandemic so I think that should be considered. We tracked the owners down after 6 years and we were reunited with our favorite thick crust pizza! We love the cheese pull, the not overly salty sauce and the amazing thick crust. Walked by World Class Pizza in the beginning of December and my son said he wanted to try it out. It was this little hole in a wall restaurant. No space for dining inside, just a bench to sit at while you wait for your food to be prepared. There was just an older Asian man working by himself. He took my son's order. I bought him a cheese pizza with garlic added as well as an order of garlic bread. The pizza looked and smelled delicious. My son said the crust was really nice and it had that light dusting of flour. The sauce complimented the cheese and garlic pizza really well. He said it was so simple but was the best pizza he has ever had. As for the garlic bread, I could hear the crunch of it as he bit into it. It smelled amazing! My son could not stop raving about his food and said he's definitely going to bring his high school buddies with him at his next visit. read more

Dang the old guy that works here late night hates his job lol. I walked in to get some pizza and I ask him if he has slices still and he says no! And walks away haha. He asks me if I want to order I said yes and he just turns around and goes to the back. Doesn't even care that I was about to order some slices for myself and some pies for our Friday late night gathering. Just went next door and got Albertos. Too bad I couldn't try the pizza due to the terrible customer service. read more

WOW. I came to this area for Boba tea, and saw this pizza place next door so I thought I'd give it a try....This is the best pizza I have ever had. The man in there is very hard working and does it all on his own. I wish I got a untouched photo but as you can see I devoured my pizza it was just so delicious! Really good pizza! The topping choices are great, really happy they had artichokes. The sauce is phenomenal too. One of the best sauces I've had. Would really like to see more crust options though. The fact that they're open all night is a huge plus and made for a good halfway food stop between LA and San Diego. Dine-in would've been great but the outdoor seating was good. I wanted to try out "World Class Pizza." The place was empty when I got there but it was clean. There was one guy running the place so I got a lot of attention. The decor was mostly long tables good for groups and parties. There are monitors with sports on and team promotions. So the place looks good for watching sports games over beer and pizza. I ordered a slice of pepperoni for like $3. The pizza was already made and kept in a pizza box. The guy took it out and oven heated it. It was cheap on the quality of cheese. The crust was thick. The sauce was tomato sauce-e. I think the quality is no better than Dominos pizza. My verdict is that the place might be good for watch a game over a beer but I would go there for the pizza. read more

As many people have mentioned before the gentleman working there is not rude. He was professional and courteous when my husband and I picked up our pizza. I ordered from Uber eats, and was given a 25 minute pick up window. When I arrived my pizza was hot and ready. The gentleman working was cutting up another customers pizza but acknowledged our arrival. He asked for our name and had the pizza ready along with the side of ranch I ordered. He handed us our pizza and wished us a nice day. For a pizza place to be open (pick up was at 7:20PM) and the gentleman working there by himself on New Years Eve was very helpful to me since I had no time to make anything for dinner today. The pizza had a nice not so thick crust. Did not skimp on the pepperoni (plenty on every slice) and chesse. It wasn't super saucy too so the dough still retained a crunch. Overall a solid place to order pizza other than a chain. They do have some calzones on the menu so I might try that next. Cheers! read more

Very tiny pizza for a very big price. I got the 8" pizza. The box is 8" but the pizza was closer to 6 1/2". Fake advertising in my book. And I asked for it with onion and if I got 4-5 slivers of one slice I'd be surprised. read more

Literally the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. There's something about it that was just gross. It has a really funky aftertaste to it. I ordered a side of jalapeños and I'm sure they were expired. They smelled really bad couldn't even eat them. Ordered on doordash because it was the only pizza place that ordered past 1am. He read off the order [showing that what Grubhub transmitted to them was correct] and didn't care that what they delivered was flat out wrong. And then said that if we wanted anything done, to take it up with Grubhub. A combination of incompetence and poor customer service is not great. It has us thinking that we need to find a new local pizza joint. Which is terrible because the pizza is pretty good. But if they can't deliver what we order, then we never know what's coming. And in a house with some food allergies, we want to know that what we order will be correct. This has been our local trusted pizza joint for almost a decade. But it seems that it's going downhill, and that is truly sad.

Please, do NOT support this business!!! I'll try to keep this succinct so many details are omitted. The couple who own this pizzeria have been tormenting children in their neighborhood for years, and literally 50+ police visits to their house haven't deterred their disgusting behavior. The wife is a witch and screams at young children for playing, stalks them, films them, and reports them to the HOA as though playing is a crime. These are kids as young as 3 years old. She has even tried to run over young children with her car several times, unsuccessfully thank god. The husband is absent, sleeps at the restaurant, and lets his insane wife run wild at home with no supervision or support. For context, their own adult children won't even speak to them anymore. I've never published anything like this online before, but feel the need to do so now because the neighbors have appealed to the Police, HOA, and even Lawyers, but can't get anywhere following proper protocols. This review is based purely on service. And, purely on service, I will never be a customer at this restaurant. I went in to pick up a take-out order. As I entered, I informed the older Asian man at the counter that I was there to pick up an order. He confirmed the name with me, and proceeded to THROW the pizza at me across the counter. I asked him for the side of jalapeños that was supposed to come with the order, AND HE THREW THOSE AT ME TOO. Then, he yelled something at me in a language that definitely wasn't English, and waved his hands at me as if telling me to "get out." Ordered delivery a salad pizza and wings. The wings were low quality chicken full of hormones and fat no sauce just grease. The cheese on the pizza was chewy (low quality) the doe was undercooked, the salad was a salad didn't mess it up but all you have to do is cut fresh lettuce. When the delivery came the guy set my food on the floor instead of handing it to me. When I called in no one told me my total the delivery guy didn't tell me my total either. The guy on the phone and the delivery guy did not greet me nor have any enthusiasm. The parents enjoyed the food and the kids played as 5- and 6-year-olds do. They discovered the quarter machines that dispensed various little toys and trinkets. My son had accumulated a handful of little figurines and had them lined up neatly on the table that he and his friends were seated at. He was proud of them. And then, the young lady employee came by, swept them up, and quite literally threw them into the trash can. We could not even salvage them because immediately after she did that, another employee came and threw a pile of dirty plates right on top of them. Why in the world would she do that? My son immediately began crying. The young lady could not care less. Prior to her doing this, she had scolded the children as they were playing in the empty dining area (it was almost 8pm - when they close). She had also spoken to a mom in a stern manner regarding the children. The children were not behaving disrespectfully or destructively. They were acting like typical 5- and 6-year-olds. The employee was clearly unhappy about something. As a group, we were nothing but nice to her so her anger and discontent were misplaced. Also, what could a shy little 6-year-old boy have done to her for her to treat him that way? My son was crying by my wife's side when I heard that this incident took place. My wife was upset because she witnessed the manner in which our son's little toys were thrown away. One of the managers was informed of this incident and she tried her very best to "fix" the problem but when one sees his young child weeping because of something a careless (and malicious in my opinion) adult decided to do to him, there is no way to rectify that situation. Something made her angry and she took it out on my son. She can treat me however she pleases. I'm grown. But it takes a special kind of human to treat a 6-year-old in such a terrible manner. I give the manager credit for accepting responsibility for her employee's conduct. The manager was genuine. She offered me complimentary items but I was not interested in any of it, especially since I had no intention of ever coming back. On the drive home, we had to explain to my son that there was absolutely no reasonable explanation for the way she treated him. He could not comprehend that an adult could treat him so poorly. How does one explain such an unjustified and horrible behavior to a 6-year-old? I suppose he learned a valuable lesson today. Until today, he had never met an adult that treated him like he was of no value. I will never go back to this restaurant unless our next team decides to do a get-together here and even then I would likely choose not to attend. That employee should be ashamed of herself. People often downplay poor behaviors of their children but my son is not that kid. He is very polite and rather quiet. I am furious that an adult would treat a very young child that way.
