OMG, these empanadas are delicious! my hubby loves all the meat ones but his favorite is the Buisquits and Gravy. I'm a vegetarian so my favorite in the Spinach and Cheese. But if I could eat the Dulce de Leche ones every day without them going to my hips I would eat those for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their Chimichurri salsa is amazing too! A must have. This is my first visit and I am an instant fan! Customer service is awesome! I came here right before my flight to grab a quick dinner. Due to traffic getting to Burbank, I was shorter on time than I realized so by the time my empanadas were ready for me, I wasn't able to sit and eat like I intended. I'd have to bring it to the airport with me. I asked for a bag to put the box into but the guy said the box wouldn't fit in the bag. I told him my dilemma and he volunteered to switch the box out into individual wax bags. He kindly labeled each wax bag so I would know which filling was in each. The empanadas itself were delicious. I liked the variety of fillings they had to offer. Since I was by myself, I was only able to try 4 of them. My favorite was the corn although the rest were pretty good. They also had dessert empanadas. I tried the dulce de leche with apples which was good too. I will definitely be back to try the other fillings! read more

Hands down...: best empanadas ever. I ordered the combo with tortilla soup, 1 soy chorizo and 1 pinto bean and rice. Wow. I am officially hooked - especially the soy chorizo which has potato.... perfection. Hubby and son feasted on the Santa Fe, Chicken, Ham and Cheese and Nutella empanadas. We also ordered the Hibiscus drink (Jamaica) and Horchata. The Hibiscus (or as Latinos know it as Jamaica), was perfect - it's very hard to get it right without it being too sweet or bitter. The horchata is one of the best we've had - almost as good as the one my husbands family makes and it takes them 5 hours to prepare (they are Salvadoran). Very friendly staff - ambience is great. I also enjoyed listening to Buena Vista Social Club on their playlist. Will definitely be coming back - we live in West LA and it's worth the drive. read more

I also go the dessert empanada, Nutella and banana...so good!! :) I also got beef, Santa Fe, quinoa and lentils, ham and cheese, and a couple of others. They are all worth trying! The price is $2.50 each which isn't bad and I think you can get a dozen for $24.95 or something like that. Customer service is great as well. Me and mom dukes went and spent like 30.00 on empanadas! The food ones were soooooo YUMO! I didn't try anything with meat in it since i don't eat those animals but the veggie ones were so delish! I bought two empanadas I ate them both and I wish I had more. I have seen this popped up on my maps when I'm looking for a vegan food but today I was hungry and close by so I decided to stop. I bought the quinoa and lentil and the soy chorizo and both of them were delicious. The crust on the empanada was so flaky all I can say is it tasted like I was biting into little pillows of goodness. I also ordered the Jamaica drink which I don't usually get it anywhere and it was really good as well. I ordered a ham and cheese and a chicken for my mother but since I am not eating meat I won't be able to taste those I am sure though she will not be disappointed. I will definitely be back here to taste more off the menu And to have the soup and to have the salads that are also vegan. read more

Small, local business churning out great lil' pockets of Delicious. The specials are usually pretty great, and I tend to always get at least one spinach every time. Their lunch special (3 'panadas and a side salad or pasta salad) is a good deal. Been going to the location on Victory since they opened--glad to see them expand and grow into their new Magnolia location (I haven't yet gone to that one.) Tip: Call ahead to order so you can make sure they've got enough of the flavors you want--always a bummer to get there and have them be out. However, they're very good about firing up another batch, if you're okay with waiting about 15-20 mins. (I'd give them 5 stars but lately the consistency has been a little off--the saltiness on two different visits was way jacked-up, to the point i couldn't finish one.) read more

We have driven by this place nearly every day, 5 days a week for a while. Last weekend we finally decided to check it out. I did have to wait a short time to get the full selection that I wanted but that meant they were fresh. Omg love this place. The new location is nice. It has a very cutely decorated seating area inside- very homey feel to it. It's a little further for me but definitely worth the drive.
