Radek and his crew deserve 5 out of 5 stars, without a doubt. Type of work: bannisters, newel posts, balusters, handrails, woodwork. I took a chance on Radek and his team after only seeing one review on Yelp, and I was (and remain) blown away by this guy. I cannot express how happy my wife and I are with the quality of work and professionalism of World-Flooring & More Co. First, I contacted Radek about doing bannister/baluster/newel post/handrail work in my main-entry and stairway. After looking online at their profile, I was impressed with the variety and quality of handrail woodwork displayed on their website. From this, I decided to contact Radek about an estimate. He replied to my inquiry within a few hours, and he worked with me to quickly show up to complete a free estimate. This was very important for my wife and me because we were about to give birth to our daughter. We decided to complete this project while in the hospital so, upon our return, we would not have to worry about the perviously unsafe stairway. Knowing this, Radek sensed our urgency and made sure that the project would be completed in time (from estimate to final payment, the job took less than a week). At the estimate, Radek took his time to explain some of the processes to me, and I provided him with photos from Pinterest that we asked him to use as a guide. I told him how I was worried about the newel posts...that they would not be sturdy and strong, but he showed me how they would double-bolt them to ensure safety and durability. After crunching some preliminary numbers, he told me a range that the project would cost. When I asked if he could find ways for me to cut-costs, we decided that I would do some of the painting and would buy some different newel posts than the ones at which we were original looking. I found a few from Lowes that he said would work out perfectly, so I saved about $150 just from that. Anyway, Radek went and purchased these for me (after I found them), my wife and I went to our scheduled cesarean, and Radek and his team created the most beautiful and elegant railing system. It is safe, gorgeous, and he made sure to not make us worry about anything (as we clearly had a lot on our minds). Upon final payment, he came by to collect the check and I told him I noticed a couple of the balusters were...not loose but a little movable. He came the next day, even after the final payment, and fixed what I asked. All members of his team were extremely polite and well-mannered. They were clean and efficient. They completed the work exactly to our expectations, and they did it all with what I think was a very reasonable price. You get what you pay for and more from these guys.
