Welcome back World Wraps! The Corte Madera location has reopened to a fresh new interior along with a new menu and inside seating. I was excited to see them reopened with new wraps and bowls. I tried their Island Teriyaki Chicken wrap and must say that it is refreshing with the addition of pineapple and macadamia nuts. The pineapple adds a citrus taste to it which balances well with the sweet Teriyaki sauce. I was always a big fan of the Teriyaki but this new recipe gives it more depth. It's different for sure. They are also offering a variety of brewed drinks. The Jasmine Milk Boba Tea was creamy with a touch of sweetness along with Tapioca pearls. They now have seating inside which makes the experience more enjoyable in the cozy environment. I will certainly come back to try the rest of their menu. It's still on of the few affordable places in Corte Madera. One important note is that the staff told me that the original owners bought back the company hence the remodel and modifying the menu. They had many locations when they first opened about 20 years ago and gradually closed their location after they were sold. My favorite is the chicken tikka masala wrap with the Dragon fruit boba house made beverage. I heartily recommend the Korean BBQ and Thai Chicken wrap as well. I got my cousin hooked on the mango boba drink as well. The amount of food for the price is great- I always eat half and share with a coworker. I have been eating here for decades (it is that good). I have recently started working in the area again and as much as I fancy variety; it is very difficult to go anywhere else when the staff are all so friendly, the food so delicious and the variety is right there on the menu. I also feel like it is a healthier option then many or possibly even all the alternatives. The tea was served quick but the quesadilla we had to wait for more than 20 mins outside.. As we grab the order we head straight to the car to enjoy our meal safely... Like any other quesadilla from diff. restos we tried, this didnt meet my standard and expectations... The food was rushed and so was the filling inside.. You can barely see anything inside and all i could taste was the hard tortilla.. and the chix quesadilla tortilla was burnt... $26 for all aint worth it, hence the long wait... Utensils and sauces were not served as well.. A to tha max fail!!!!! I feel sorry for the management, if there is one reason why they are still open and a lot of people still order bec probably there aint much food joints nearby or they arent that picky.. This is definitely not the World Wrapps that I went to as a kid. The place I remember was sort of a cheap-looking burrito joint that offered a few "exotic" options (eg Thai or Teriyaki). It was certainly nothing to write home about. I always wondered how these guys stayed in business, especially as new eateries started popping up at the Corte Madera Town Center (Blue Barn, The Counter, Pacific Catch, Pig In a Pickle BBQ, etc.). Well, lo and behold.. something has changed in the World (and in a good way!). World Wrapps is clearly under different management, and the restaurant has a revived energy. This place is, dare I say it, pretty cool. The menu now offers a wide array of international inspired fare (eg Thai, Indian, Hawaiian, Mediterranean, Korean, Japanese, etc.). And if wrapps aren't your thing, you can skip the carbs and opt for a bowl or salad version of all their menu offerings. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Chicken Shawarma (a giant flatbread wrapp filled with grilled chicken, mixed greens, tomatoes, Pickled Onion, Cucumber, Spicy Tahini-Harissa Sauce, Organic Yogurt Raita, Shawarma Spices, and Lemon Juice). While it wasn't a traditional Shawarma that you might find at Souvla or another Mediterranean restaurant, it was certainly a satisfying & filling meal (and under $10). What really impressed me was how fresh the ingredients were. Plus, the chicken was clearly right off the grill. There are so many other things I'd like to try on their menu, including: the Korean BBQ Steak Wrapp, the Saigon Salmon Wrapp, the Wasabi Ahi Wrapp, the Chicken Tikka Masala Wrapp, and the list goes on and on! We've been here several times recently (good to-go area and pretty good food.) The food is always good and the service is as you'd expect. There is almost always a line but the wait is never long. Employees practicing good hygiene and cleanliness. Servers almost always clean immediately after someone leaves a table. It can be crowded in the afternoons and on weekends but the staff do a pretty good job of managing the customers. We'll be back! read more

How much do I like this place!!? Well at least once or twice a month, my family drive all the way down from Santa Rosa to go here for lunch. We usually then take advantage of the many bike trails and hiking spots in Marin, but World Wraps is a big part of it. My step daughter and her husband love the burritos. And i want to try them except that means missing out on the incredible Chicken Sat thai wraps. They are huge and packed with fresh veggies, rice noodles, grilled chicken and peanut Thai sauce. Wraps: * Bulgogi Beef: delicious & has a nice spicy zest, but not overpowering for someone who likes spice without burning off taste buds. *Tikka Masala: really tasty treat, satisfied the Indian spiced cravings *Nori Wrapped Poke Spicy Tuna: best way to describe this, like being in Hawaii having fresh poke BUT on a larger scale & hand held vs using utensils. Drink: * Jasmine Tea 1/2 sugar with pearl: flavor was nice, but pearls were slightly under cooked (hard center) Ordered food online & got a confirmation on when it would be ready for pickup. And they were right on time when I approached the To-Go window. To "Wrap it up" a GREAT experience. Everything tasted FRESH! The rice wraps reminded me of sticky rice flattened which was a nice departure from flour tortillas that are too heavy & distract from contents.
