I heard so much from my Yelp friends and I couldn't wait to try here when I was finally in the area. In fact, it was so good, it will worth the drive just to come here to eat. Walking in, looking a bit confused, a staff figured out this was my first time and took time to explain about their menu. I tried their most popular sandwich, crispy chicken and I was so glad I tried it. Chicken was tender and peanuts sauce made it so good. I don't normally eat much bread but their bread was so soft and it just went so well with the chicken, I ended up eating everything. After I finished eating, I noticed some customers were enjoying chips. Apparently they are the must have here and I need to try at my next visit. Gotta review them while it's fresh in my mind. Finally came by today since we were close by and I was very much looking forward to it. It's right off Main St and it's a cute little shop with picnic tables in the middle and additional patio seating. We got lucky at lunch time and arrived when there was no line. The menu is simple yet caters to a variety of people with meat and veggie options. They even have breakfast plates which is cool. I wavered between a few sandwiches but went with my first choice of their buffalo chicken and substituted the ciabatta with sourdough, my favorite bread. My colleagues ordered the French dip, the Reuben and the turkey sandwich and they all enjoyed their food. I loved mine; it had a generous amount of blue cheese which I wasn't crazy about but it worked well with the chicken and the carrot slaw. I didn't get a drink like the rest of my group and one of the employees asked if I wanted a water. When I politely declined, he said I could grab a water bottle if I changed my mind, what a cool gesture. The gal working the register was friendly and checked in on us during our meal. I had heard so many great things about this sandwich place that I wasn't sure if it was just hype or if the praise was well-deserved. Verdict: the praise is definitely well-deserved. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and it was one of the BEST chicken sandwiches that I ever had. The chicken was juicy and the sauces that they used added a little kick to it and it just melted in your mouth. Our group tried the French Dip, Roast Beef and the Worth Burger one, but everyone's favorite was the 'Crispy Chicken Sandwich. They also have a rotating special "soda". I tried the Apple Cider soda and it wasn't my favorite one that they have had so far. Definitely check to see what soda they have when you are there! The service here is top-notch. They let you order and you can walk over to the brewery next door and they'll bring your food over to you. They're all friendly and helpful. They also offer complimentary water bottles which is great considering we live in a Desert. Holy smokes! Totally blown away by this charming li'l spot on Main Street in Downtown Mesa. It was everything we expected and then some. Locally sourced high-quality ingredients and friendly staff. Great atmosphere and staff. Centrally located. The peach tea was refreshing. The fries were perfectly crispy, but my breakfast burrito was "meh". Personally I thought they put too many potatoes in it, and they weren't that done. No real char on them... almost like they boiled them and cut them up, and maybe put them on the grill for a few seconds before adding them to the burrito. Not my personal preference for cooked potatoes. And partially because of that, the burrito tasted very bland. I know that you're a restaurant, and you can't really season your food too much. I ordered takeout around noon on a Saturday and there was a healthy lunch crowd. I walked in and instead of standing in line, an astute employee asked if I was there for pick-up which I appreciated saved me time waiting in line. I arrived a few minutes before the estimated pick-u[ time so I expected the food was just made. The fries looked so good and I had to try one before the drive back. Unfortunately, they were cold and not soggy but not crisp. I'd already driven away and figured they would have gotten cold on the 10 minute drive back but hmmm?? I had the Turkey Club. The ciabatta roll was good and the portion was fairly large. I didn't care for the avocado spread and would prefer fresh avocado. I thought overall the sandwich would have been more flavorful as it was advertised with dressed greens (not sure that happened) and sriracha aioli. I ordered a side salad and received a handful of mixed salad greens in a box with absolutely nothing else-no dressing or other veggies. That ended up in the trash unfortunately. My 15 year old son had the Bacon Ranch Chicken sandwich with cold fries and described it as "the best lunch ever". I didn't know what to think, but this place had been on my "to do " list for quite some time due to its longevity and amazing collection of 5-star Yelp reviews. We were in the area at lunch time, so we decided to finally give it a shot. The place is tiny inside, but there is room to sit outside. The short review: I really enjoyed this place. Sure, you get sandwiches and drinks, but they're REALLY great sandwiches and drinks -- including house-made sodas. I had a watermelon and basil soda, which I guess makes a periodic appearance on the menu. When I ordered it, the cashier immediately offered to let me try it before I committed, which I thought was nice. Maybe not so many people are as food-adventurous as they think they are, and the people at Worth seem to care about you having a good experience. To go with my tasty soda, the menu had a daily grilled chicken special that sounded excellent, but I ultimately went with with the Calabrian Turkey sandwich (turkey with coppa, fontina, chili aioli, dressed greens and tomato). The lettuce was nice and crisp, the tomato juicy, and the coppa provided a nice balance to the richness of the turkey. Everyone else in my family had the French Dip, hold anything "interesting" (= "scary") so I don't have much to say except that I though the meat was juicy and had good flavor. The hoagie rolls were as fresh as the fillings and the au jus was served hot. In that "naked" configuration, however, they disappeared quickly. I also tried the orange soda, of which my wife was not really a fan. She didn't like the "creamsicle" taste. If you're considering the sodas, ask for a little sample and I'll bet they will let you try before you buy. I opted for the house made chips as my side. I also ordered the cold brew latte. The cold brew latte was good! As far as coffee goes. I'm happy it didn't have a burnt taste that some cold brews have. It wasn't too sweet, just perfect. Chips were good as well! Now the Sandwich. I'm not exaggerating when I say it had to have been the best spicy Sandwich I have ever had.
