The mission behind this business is great and I would've loved to keep supporting however the service received here was horrible. I visited this morning and both of the employees behind the counter were rude and condescending, they couldn't even greet us or answer any questions they both just stared blankly in silence. We ordered the Spanish latte which was great and the pistachio latte which wasn't as good. The pastry's weren't unique but they weren't bad either. Probably will not visit again but I hope others that visit this place can receive better service. read more

If you are near LB, this is the coffee shop you want to be at. The food and drinks are top notch (I'm a matcha latte guy myself), but what sets this shop apart is the amazing and comfortable atmosphere they have created. Me and my wife sat at a couple of comfy loungers, but they also have large tables for groups, couches, a conference room, and private study stations in a completely separate, quiet room! The cherry on top is that the entire operation is for a great cause (check out their posters detailing how they are helping the community, it's amazing). Highly recommend! read more

OK so I've been slowly waiting in anticipation for the grand opening of Wrigley Coffee because the building has been empty since the previous shop Fox left. I'm very glad to see what an amazing job they have done renovating and setting up the new decor. Also, having a meeting space inside the shop seems like an awesome idea. But best of all, they have a good selection of drinks and I enjoyed the Chai tea and iced hot chocolate. I'd much rather support my community rather than a massive company anyway. Also, the donuts were a nice addition. I tried strawberry with sprinkles and cinnamon. The icing on the strawberry wasn't too sweet but had a great strawberry taste. We were really excited to try this place and liked the decor. I went with my partner and we wanted to try something seasonal but we were disappointed with the options. Nothing really sounded that special. I had the blackberry mocha extra hot which was thankfully extra hot (which you'd be surprised how often that gets messed up) and I thought it was fine but I couldn't finish it. my boyfriend ordered the choco banana and I wouldn't have been able to drink it. He also ordered it iced but they made it hot. He tried to go back in but ended up just getting a cup of ice to pour it over. It was disappointing sadly. I stumbled upon Wrigley as I was headed to the freeway and I'm so happy I did. I've found a new coffee shop to support. The space is beautifully decorated with plants, there's lots of natural light, and a heartwarming neon sign reminding us to care for community. Wrigley also has a conference room and personal work spaces patrons can rent for a small fee. The added bonus to their delicious coffee is they function as a social enterprise by providing employment opportunities for individuals facing housing insecurity. This is a real nice beautiful re-invention of the the neighborhood coffee house. What I like about this place is the vintage font on the outside of the building where it says "Coffee" and the name "Wrigley". It has a real nice look as if the place has been here for decades. On the inside it looks very comfortable and nice and welcoming atmosphere. A lot of tables to sit at and research and study or do business. There's even a couple separate rooms for privacy or having meetings. Overall it seems like an enjoyable environment to sit in. It's not loud with a lot of people or loud music (although if they did play music it should be vintage jazz in my humble opinion) They have some vegan options in their pastries and cookies and scones and donut selections. I purchased a large black coffee, it was $4 dollars. Starbucks charges $3.25 for a large black coffee. Is $4 dollars a lot for a large black coffee considering the neighborhood is welcoming and the cool ambience of the place? I'll let you be the judge. I think it's a little high. Come check them out and see what you think. All I got was a black cup of coffee, I'm sure their other items are wonderful and delicious. Give them a shot see what you think. I thought the black cup of coffee was a little too earthy/rich flavor.Of course when you have mixed coffee concoctions , Adding the sugar and creams and flavors, that would matter too much To be fair and accurate, I would have chosen 3 1/2 stars if could instead of 4 stars, but it's a nice "mom and pop" small business, they're just starting out and I want them to do well. read more
