The drinks are excessively sweet, a mortal sin by Asian standard, and they have a generic taste that might as well have one item on the entire menu. Alas, to get a sip of the old favorites, now I have to drive across town instead of stop by after work. I am glad that I got my many trips here before the old guards died, and it's probably better for my hemoglobin A1c in the long run.

The chocolate croissant had just the right amount of chocolate. The 3 pastries and the iced coffee added up to $25 + tip. The girls who work there were really friendly. Great little spot for your morning coffee and pastry or lunch. I recommend checking them out.

As the other 1 star reviews mention "pretentious behavior" so it's either the cashier or whoever it was is being pretentious as others mentioned or RACIST... Kinda odd to dictate what I do on my own accord while I'm a patron at your establishment. If I ordered food and a drink but chose to open my laptop, are you going to ask me to leave? Doesn't really seem customer centric. Considering that I've worked on my laptop at dine-in restaurants, it's pretty odd behavior to display. Nice fast service and friendly employee, took the time to explain the pastry menu! Lots of open space and tables to study and cozy environment. The café isn't big, but the interior is very quaint and homey, so I generally prefer to snag a seat indoors when I am around. The music isn't oppressively loud like at most Starbucks in my area, so I really appreciate that as someone who is likely working, reading, or doing both when I do hit up a café. While I can't offer any insight into the quality of coffee, lattes, etc. I can vouch for Rose Park in LB if you need a low-key spot to relax or get some work done.

The Mango bad as well. We did not drink them we had to throw them out. Customer service is good and welcoming.
