Just left this store. The girl stocking shoes was very rude. I was looking at shoes that were on a rack and she came to me said "excuse me" ripped off the sticker that was on the shoes I had. I told her "oh sorry about that" she replied with a tone saying "it's fine". The vibe I got from her was extremely negative. It did seem like she was some type of manager, the way she was working trying to get something done and not giving customer service. I work in customer service as a store manager, that type of customer service will scare away customers, and is a huge No no for me. I would rather go to the store with less shoes. i came to the store in La Puente store and the service was really horrible. i came in looking to buy a fresh pair of kicks and tried on the Air Force 270 and tried on the 9.5 from their show room. They felt comfortable i asked one of the sales or customer reps their and the rep had a negative demeaner litterally draggin his feet. i was like ok no big deal im gonna jus get my shoes and head out. I did ask the guy, Is this the show sample shoe. rom expeierience if the shoe has any signs of wear at the bottom sometimes the store cant return em. So he said yes these are new and not the show room shoe. so i went ahead and went on with the purchase and as i asked the another representative this is not the show room piece, she said no... Then i turn around and look at the show room and found no shoe on the display.. i asked the rep if they have any more of these shoes they said no but they can get em from a different store..i was already feelin a bad vibe from the store and jus decided to go to el monte and get the shoes and they took care me of me with better service. i found sometimes even if the store is very clean and customer has a lotta options makes for a good experience but when the service is really horrible and reps dont take pride in their job it makes the place with a bad vibe for the customer. read more

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH REALLY AFFORDABLE DEALS! The service was 10/10 and it went quickly and smoothly. I wanted to get in and out for my nephews shoes (he's so picky!) they have so many to choose from, with all different prices! I also love that they honor military discount! Came here on a Saturday morning because I won a raffle online. The shoe is reserved for you to pick up between 8am-10am, but I woke up late and didn't show up until 11am. Fortunately, the shoe was still there and was available to pick up! I inspected the shoe and it wasn't in the best shape. It had scuffs and discoloration already. I asked the employee working if there were other shoes of the same size I can look at, just so I can get a better pair. And they did! I picked up the better pair with no issues. Let me start by stating that I have been a loyal customer of WSS for numerous years, and I usually have a pleasant experience while shopping. However, tonight as I was shopping with my three children I was extremely harassed by the staff members. I was followed for thirty minutes which was nerve wrecking as I tried to shop for three small children while simultaneously being followed around the store. The stocking was more then evident which prompt me to make a complaint while I was paying for my kids shoes. This writer expressed my concerns and asked the cashier if they get a lot of theft in the area? The cashier replied: "yes, kind of." I made a suggestion to practice being courteous and less aggressive. I left WSS feeling terrible and very uncomfortable. I will not return to this store. read more

I rushed over to WSS for a last minute purchase before and early flight. Website stated the store closes at 9pm. I arrived at 8:56pm, yes I know it was cutting it close but I knew exactly what I was going for. There was a young guy holding the door and refused to let me in. I explained I really needed to make a purchase because I had an early flight the next day and that the store was not closed yet because It was not 9pm. He said it would be in a minute (pulled his phone out and didnt acknowledge the actual time) and proceeded to say that management would not let him. I asked again and still refused at this point the cashiers were looking over and they stayed quiet. I have worked in retail for over 20 years and never refused a customer prior to the stated closing hours. I was dissapointed not only for not being able to make my purchase but the lack of customer service. read more

Thank you New Guy && Alfonso for helping me out. Came in to buy my sister some Vans and was having trouble finding them, until the new guy ( didn't get his name ) came to my aid. Although it was his first day working he did an awesome job! Alfonso helped me out in checkout and if it weren't for him checking the shoes I would've taken two wrong sizes. Ay dios! Do not shop at the WSS store in La Puente. They do not respect the military. Per there store information they provide a discount for all veterans and active duty and dependents are eligible for a discount. Today I went to the LaPuente location and was told in a very nasty tone by the cashier the discount is only available 3 times per month when my daughter tried to take advantage of the discount she was denied in A very rude tone. Needless to say I was very embarrassed of how I was treated and how the store employees acted towards me and my family. If I'm only allowed to use the discount 3 times per month and I only used the discount once which was today why was my daughter refused and embarrassed. These discount might not mean anything to the staff at WSS but it is welcome and appreciated by military families. Shame on you WSS La Puente. I will never shop at another WSS store again. Today I had the worst experience At this store 1289 N Hacienda Blvd Unit 33 La Puente, CA 91744 . The employe Gabriel didn't customer service me at all . He was every rude to me . He called me lier then I asked him not to call me lier and he continued to call me lier . I asked him if he can go on there Computer and search for item for me and he said " first of all you don't tell me what to do " . I also went to the registers and asked the girl at register is there anyway she can look up the Item and she said the item does not have a number that I can look up . So then Gabriel went and called his dm . I don't know for what Because it didn't help the situation . I felt very disrespected that he called me a liar and he called me a girl. Amazing customer service. I've been a customer of theirs for years now. They were originally located a few blocks down from where they are recently located. This new building is much bigger and the customer service is still great. The employees always go out of their way even when you're a customer like me and have a million questions. I was there around 8:30 almost closing time. I had an employees coming up to me about every 3 minutes asking me if I needed help. He was not trying to help me he was trying to rush me! While I was shopping a couple employees were talking out loud about customers. Complaining how they're so messy and how bad their kids are and how they make a mess and their parents don't do anything about it. I made eye contact and they just kept talking. Soon after one of them comes up to me and said "can you tell him to stop " and pointed at my 3 year old son. I didn't know what he had done because he was standing right next to me so I asked. This place is ridiculous. Found a pair of Nikes. Couldn't find my size . Asked a clerk for help. She comes back and tells me the shoes are on sale for $ 19.99 but she can't sell them to me because of inventory purposes because there in the wrong box.. I'm sorry there on the sales floor. She then preceded to ask her manager who said she could sell me the shoes in the wrong box for $49.99 with 20 percent off. I must be some kind of stupid to take that deal. I've been here a few times, selections are very limited vs. the other places, the workers are young and really don't care about anything, they mind their business and/or talking amongst each other to help anyone which I don't mind. The clothing section is even more limited. The workers are courteous enough here.
