Yes yes I know giving four stars to an Xfinity store sounds counterintuitive, and no they didn't pay me for this review... They do deserve four stars this time. Let's start with the parking availability. They have plenty. When I walked in , both team members greeted me with a smile. The team member that helped me help me with a smile and lots of patience the whole time I was there. I was returning a brand new modem they sent me that I did not want to hassle with. He told me that it's easy to set up , walked me through the app, and even walked me through recovering my password. So why the four stars are not five you ask... Well I'm glad you asked and let me tell you. It was not easy to set up their fastest and most sophisticated modem. We have about 11 devices connected to the internet. It almost needed sending a technician out; however, the technician on the line stuck with it and he finally figured it out. Then you fastest modem did not cause my bill to go up either which makes it a good value. read more

Their service is horrible! There's no way to speak to a live person on the phone. I waited 3 hours to chat with someone because after an hour and 10 minutes of waiting the call was dropped. I got in the cue again and waited almost an hour again got to chat and plug unplug, etc nothing. Scheduled an appointment for today and they are already 4 hours late. So frustrating! read more

As if them having a monopoly isn't enough they somehow managed to make it worse Someone fraudulently signed my dad up for service with a diff address and attached it to MY acct.Cs over phone was useless and couldn't even see what I could clearly see on my Xfinity acct when I logged in.So I went to this local store and was seen 1st by the manager Benjermin who didn't even take two minutes to pull up my acct to see anything not eas he empathetic at all!!! Just wanted to give me a toll free number which is the generic cs for Xfinity..smh I then sat down with Chara (not sure as she was the Worst and wouldn't spell her name or wear a name badge) who just quickly cut me off and kept repeating what the manager said.And I told em fine I'll call about that but in the meantime cancel my contract that I've been a customer on for over 20yrs. I purchased a new iPhone yesterday but didn't like it. Xfinity was unwilling to trade it for another phone with the same or lesser value. Xfinity is a terrible company with no real commitment to customer service. I'm going to a different, better carrier. Also, I traded in my old phone. They gave me a $500 credit towards an upgrade. Don't be fooled...this wasn't a real credit but rather their way of ensuring my commitment for years. They apply the credit as $20 monthly so, if I want to leave Xfinity, which I do (and will), I have to pay the full value for the phone. Is there an honest cell phone provider out there? After two weeks and no help I called for help again and the person on the phone told me that they wiil not help me, I had heard this so many times before so I told them to go to Hell. After that I was very Desperate being without service for weeks that I went to another Xfinity store for help. All the guys their new I cussed out one of their people and gave me a lot of trouble. Avoid at all costs. Purchased internet and home security on 5/25. After Install, the security cameras stopped operating because the router was too weak to get a signal to the cameras. The internet also did not reach to the upstairs of my house. I went back to this location to get an extender and hopefully fix the issue, only to be told I could either purchase an extender for 130 dollars or wait two weeks. I scheduled for a technician to come check my equipment on 6/4 and purchased my own wifi extender in the meantime. Although I was able to get the internet working throughout my entire house, the cameras still did not function and one of the door sensors would not register the doors closed, so I couldn't use the alarm. 6/4 came and went with no call and no show from the technician. I took all the security equipment down and returned it to the store and cancelled my plan. Even though I returned the equipment, they cannot figure out how to remove the charges from my bill. The customer service is absolutely ridiculous. Do not waste your money here! read more

The person who checked me in rolled his eyes and scoffed when I explained to him I was trying to get my phones swapped over on our new account. I waited for a half an hour to be told as a new customer that they could not help me and it would be "redundant" and a waste of their time for them to call the Utah representative to have me confirmed as an authorized manager on our account so that we could get our sims activated and new phones/phones swapped over. Horrible regret to swap from Verizon to Xfinity 10/10 don't recommend based of customer service and I haven't even been able to activate my SIM card yet. read more

Talked with a very good salesperson in Gresham (223rd) about switching cell from Verizon to Xfinity. He gave me his card and said get back with him if interested. Well I went online to get the phone number; I called Xfinity and can't get past the absolutely infuriating voice bot they have that won't let you do anything but receive a text message and then try to 'chat' your way to an answer. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN BE FOUND. Even then, finally got a real agent on chat after jumping through even more hoops with a useless AI bot agent that again, can't even respond to anything except a few canned inquiries. Chatted with agent and was finally, after nearly ten minutes, I do not have that information. You will need to physically go by and see if the salesman is working, and then set up an appointment for SOME OTHER TIME. I'm sorry, if it requires any help from XFINITY their service absolutely SUCKS! I've never seen anything like this in the world of service by bid corporations; and these folks are supposed to be cutting edge? They've fallen off the EDGE! I'm more than done. I'm in such disbelief that they don't have a system that actually can answer questions and provide even the most basic information and service, that I'm not only never going to think about switching to their mobile services, but I'm moving to Dish or anywhere with our internet and cable. Was literally lied to by the customer service reps on the phone and by the sales reps in person. On the phone, the rep said I couldn't go to the store to get a SIM card. (Lie number one) I had to wait for it to be mailed to me which was supposed to take two business days and ended up being 5?? (The sales rep in person said they probably wanted the commission, wtf??) When I went into the store they said the order couldn't be canceled and sent me off? (Lie number 2) That was yesterday. Today I spent another hour on the phone and demanded that I get my phone working today and all of a sudden they can cancel the order? Which they said they couldn't yesterday because it was "past the cancel time". Long story short I've gotten nothing but lies from these people. I was here a few weeks ago to switch plan, the employee did try to trick me by offering me a terrible plan at a terrible rate at first, and she said that was the only plan available. I double-checked the price before I went so I knew she wasn't telling the truth. 10 mins later, she offered me the rate that I was expecting. There is no way to go in and purchase a product without waiting. They have no actual register and you are forced to sit and wait for a customer service representative just to buy a phone case or any other accessory. The manager wasn't overly concerned or helpful. I wouldn't usually give a rating for Xfinity by Comcast due to the largesse and gross corporate mentality that is Comcast, but I simply needed to return equipment and for that they were quick and hassle free making it easy. Additionally my service with Xfinity has been excellent. The other 'fiber' provider used to go down about every 45 minutes. When I called for tech support the last time, tech support said, well, it only goes down once every 45 minutes! That was enough! I switched as soon as possible to Xfinity. read more

I spent 2+ hours on hold to speak to a customer service rep, finally got someone on the line and went over plans to increase internet speed as I will be working from home due to the coronavirus "shelter in place" executive order. Was advised to go in-store BY COMCAST only to be told when I got there "that's unfortunate" by the employee standing outside with a card that contained the phone number I just spent 2 hours on hold with. Talked me into essentials cheaper rate phone service and "free" Motorola phone. Supposed to be returned within 14 days if I did not want to keep it. Phone was handed to employee and she was gone for 10 minutes when I noticed her talking with 2 other employees who had no idea what she was asking. First they could not figure out how to turn the phone on. There were eight employees available to help. She did not ask anyone else after asking the two employees who couldn't figure it out, she came back to me and said there's a strange message on the phone now. We can't take it back until the messages off and we can make sure this is the correct phone. I never used the phone, not a text message not a phone call, no pictures. She said take it to Best Buy and have them fix it, Then bring it back by the end of today and you won't be charged. I explained that I have no income or ability to pay Best Buy to fix their product. I needed to return some old cable TV equipment because a technician had come to my residence to replace it with new equipment. I had just moved there from my previous residence and had brought the old gear with me. The technician explained that I could return my old equipment to the XFINITY Store and also update all my account information at the same time. That sounded easy, so that's what I did. The XFINITY Store on 223rd Ave is apparently brand new. . .it looks modern and nice both inside and out. I checked in with a person at the front desk and the next available customer service rep came to get me in a couple of minutes. There was a comfortable seating area plus displays and things to look at as I was waiting. The inside of the place had a "sleek" look to it and I thought it would be a perfect setting for an espresso counter too.
