    No one working.

    Don't make it so complicated to give back equipment. Especially when you don't have the staff. You should be able to scan at drop off. Wait time is ridiculous.

    1/25/2026: What I discovered is that some of the Xfinity employees know what they are doing and others do not. I kept getting email messages that I needed to upgrade or my Xfinity Internet, email and TV will be shut off. I went to the Xfinity store and a young lady assisted me. She gave me 2 modems, one for my computer, one for my TV. She told me that it was real easy to set up the TV modem and should take me 10 minutes. I found out it was not easy and had to call Xfinity support. Support was a Filipino lady in the Phillippines and we spent 2.5 hours on the phone to try and get the TV to work. Finally, she gave up and told me I need a technician. 2.5 hours on the phone for nothing. A guy named Billy assisted me with the set up on the computer and everything went fine. I had to have a technician come to my house to set up the TV and I watched him and one thing the Filipino lady forgot to tell me is that you need to place your Wi-Fi password into the system for the TV to work, she NEVER told me to do this. No wonder it wasn't working. When the TV was working, I learn I LOST all the channels that I watch. I had to drive back to the Xfinity store to get this corrected. I told the young lady I wanted to KEEP my channels, but apparently she didn't hear me. The guy that helped me managed to get all of my channels back, knew what he was doing and I was grateful. The young lady gave me the wrong computer modem and asked me if I had the gold one or the silver one. Heck, I don't know, I didn't look at the color of the modem. She finally gave me the right modem. She didn't even apologize for giving me the wrong modem and causing me to drive back to the store to get the correct one. I was out of a TV and computer for 3 days, luckily the billing lady knew what she was doing and gave me credit for the 3 days. I really got the run around with Xfinity. Like I said, some employees know what they are doing and the other ones are just simply clueless and don't give a sxxt about their customers. Paul Dale Roberts

    We happened to be in the Delta Shores Shopping Center and noticed this Xfinity store near one of the places we were visiting. Since it was time for our Comcast renewal, our goal was to get some help into keeping our monthly bill as low as possible, since it was ultimately going to increase substantially after the 2 year commitment. Our hope was to keep it the same or try some alternative whittling down of expenses and maybe making some sacrifices. When you live on a fixed income, any help would make creature comforts a bit more bearable! Upon entering, we were immediately told that we would have to schedule an appointment. Fortunately, it was just for a few hours later, so we were fine with that. We did some more shopping and returned back for the appointed time. After waiting a little longer in the waiting area, a man who seemed to be new at the job asked how he could help us. When we explained what we needed to do, he said he didn't have access to their computers, so we would have to wait longer until another representative could help us. We continued to hang out in the waiting area for an additional half hour until a woman asked us how she could help. After giving another lengthy explanation on what our billing hopes would be, she stated that she was unable to give any help on that, and it would be best to call the Xfinity main office! What a waste of time! And to add insult to injury, Joe K called the main office no less than 3 times to get the run around. Two reps were nice and polite, one was actually rude! There were either computer glitches, phone disconnections, or promises to call back. No reps EVER called back! While we enjoy our internet and TV services at home, including the friendly and personable repair guys that occasionally have to come out to our house, Xfinity really takes advantage of the fact that they have total control of their customers hook, line and sinker!

Dual band (5/2.4) router they supply works great for my dinosaur laptop (2.4) and our phones (5). They have an interface for each network that allows you to monitor your usage and see what is connected to your network. Zoom acting up? You have immediate diagnostic capability with every network they set up. It told me my laptop had awful signal on WiFi. $16 for a 50' Ethernet at best buy fixed the issue. Call them. Google advertising won't tell you about them but your neighbors will.

Then they earned that last star. They asked if I wanted to try the upgraded service for 24 hours to see if that was part of the problem. No hard sell, no extra charges, just like you would to a friend, here, try it out and let me know. Great service, great people, overall a great experience.

After scheduling an installation appointment that was already weeks away, I waited the entire month only to receive a call on the day of the appointment informing me that it was canceled. Not only was the appointment canceled at the last minute, but Sonic couldn't even provide a new installation date. Their answer was essentially, "We don't know when it will happen." The most frustrating part isn't even the delay itself--it's the complete lack of communication. For over a month, there were no proactive updates, no realistic timeline, and no effort to keep me informed about what was happening. If there were permit issues or construction delays, why wasn't that communicated earlier? Why was I allowed to wait weeks for an appointment that apparently couldn't be fulfilled? What makes this even worse is that Sonic offered no temporary solution whatsoever. If fiber installation was delayed indefinitely, they could have suggested an alternative service, temporary internet option, or any kind of stopgap solution. Instead, I was left completely in the dark and without internet service. When I called customer service to get answers, I didn't get any new information. The representative simply repeated the same explanation about waiting for a permit over and over again, without providing any timeline, updates, or accountability. Delays happen. Permits can take time. Customers understand that. What customers don't appreciate is being ignored for weeks, having appointments canceled at the last minute, and then being told nobody knows when service will actually be available. At this point, I'm left with no internet, no installation date, and very little confidence in Sonic's ability to communicate with its customers. Extremely disappointing experience.
