They raised their luncheon prices. What else is new. The whole world is in an inflationary mode. I tried two standard spicy dishes, Kung pao chicken and egg plant in garlic sauce. Not authentic flavor, not as bad as Cantonese cook makes it, but not that good. I know this because I used to owe a Szechuan Chinese food restaurant. They used too many side vegetables. There are bell peppers in both dishes. The eggplant had also water chestnuts, tree mushrooms and bamboo shoots--not a good combination. There is a mild hint of hot spice in both dishes, but nothing over powering. The eggplant has a bit of sour taste as well. Hot and sour are what the eggplant should taste like. All in all, it is ok. If you absolutely have no other place to go eat, this place will feed your stomach. Ray out!
