Located in Bellevue, same complex of boiling point. This location was used to be facing east taiwanese restaurant. Parking: kinda limited as always, challenging during lunch and dinner time. Restrooms: 2 gender neutral restroom Style: Flat wide hand pulled noddle, Biang Biang style Order: self Order via kiosk. There's 2. Prepaid Then you just sit wherever you'd like. They will bring you the food. There's a complimentary water and mango tea on the counter. And self serve napkin. Sauces and condiments are on your table. The food came out pretty quick. We like the chewiness of the noddle We ordered: see photo. Yes, we like to order variety. All the meat from the noddle to Skewer are very juicy and tender. Wish they marinated the cucumber salad longer, but at least they are crunchy. Love the dumpling and the braised pork intestine. Will definitely come back for different ones.
If you come here expecting service, lower your expectations--because it's basically nonexistent. You order from a kiosk, find a seat, and maybe get a cup of water if you're lucky. Add in the constant sound of someone in the kitchen hacking up a loogie, and it's definitely not the most pleasant dining soundtrack. But the food is good.... The broth is rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly spicy. The meat is tender and well-seasoned, and the noodles are cooked just right with great texture. Come for the noodles, not the service--or the ambiance.
Came here for a weekday lunch with a friend while on the east side and this is my new go to spot for biang biang noodles now! I LOVE any type of noodles but in particular, biang biang noodles are my favorite. The only other place I like to go for these types of noodles is in cap hill and parking sucks but the restaurant is in the same plaza as boiling point so there is plenty of free parking. We ordered up on the self service kiosk and we just picked any table to sit at. our food came out pretty quickly too. The restaurant was pretty empty that day but the waiters were attentive about checking in on us. Both the dishes we ordered: Hot oil biang noodles & braised pork biang noodle soup were delicious! The noodle soup was savory, and the warm broth was exactly what we needed on a cold day. The noodles were fresh, long and chewy. The hot oil biang noodles were very flavorful and not too spicy, which I appreciate since I don't like mala spice as much. I wasn't too hungry this day but I wanted to try the dumplings too. I will definitely be back!
My friends and I started off the new year with long noodles (and long life) at Xi'an Noodles and had a fantastic meal. Xi'an is known for their hand pulled Biang noodles, with many noodles nearly a foot long! We all went to UW years ago and so we had all been to the University location when they first opened up and were excited to try their new location in Bellevue. We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday night and we were the first ones there. You order at the kiosk and choose either dine in or takeout accordingly. For many dishes, you can also choose from three different spice levels: Less spicy, regular spicy, or extra spicy- we opted for regular spicy to compromise for everyone's heat preferences. My three friends and I ordered the... - SPICY & TINGLY BEEF BIANG NOODLES ($13.99): if you like Szechuan pepper, this dish is for you! It's savory, slightly spicy/tingly and has the perfect amount of oil (personally I would get extra spicy for this one). The beef is also thinly sliced and tender. We liked this one so much that we ordered two plates of it! - SPICY CUMIN LAMB BIANG NOODLES ($13.99): This dish was great too and was less spicy than the beef noodles. You could definitely taste the cumin and the lamb was well-marinated too. - BRAISED PORK BIANG NOODLES ($13.99): this dish was 100% mild (hence no spicy in its name). It came with pork shoulder which neatly shredded when pulled apart (probably could've used a fork though)- it was just salted and honestly reminded me of Kalua pork. While 85 wasn't my favorite dish of the night, it's a good option for those who have zero spice tolerance. - HOT OIL BIANG NOODLES ($13.99)- this dish was unique from the others as you could tell it had a little vinegar and tang in the sauce. It didn't come with any meat, but came with a few pieces of bok choy which ended up being our vegetables for the night (aside from the cilantro served on the other noodle dishes). - SHRIMP, PORK, AND CHIVE DUMPLINGS ($11.99 for 10 dumplings): the dumplings were steaming hot and while not that big, they had good flavor and were nice and moist. Nothing to write home about, but they were solid dumplings. Service was great and our waiter was very friendly. They also gave us free mango tea to go with our meal. My main complaint (-1 star) is that they don't have too many vegetable options on their menu- it would be nice if they had garlic green beans or offered plates of bok choy or other vegetables to go with the heavy carb/meat meals. While they have a Vegetable Biang Noodle dish with tofu, it honestly looked kind of plain and didn't come with spicy sauce. The total with tax and tip came out to just over $100, which split among four people is definitely reasonable for dinner in downtown Bellevue for the amount of food we got. They have a parking lot shared with Boiling Point and Snowy Village as well as a few other businesses in the plaza. The interior is clean and they share a bathroom with Snowy Village next door. The tables are a little close together, but not uncomfortably close by any means. Overall: 4/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere

Paid a revision to this location after a three year hiatus - usually go to the U-District location - and they've really improved! Maybe they finally worked out the kinks but the portions were larger and the noodles were cooked perfectly! I usually go for the dry version with beef but the person next to me said his soup version was awesome too! In the past we've had their dumplings and have been consistently good. The service is no frills and you self order at the counter screens then choose a table. The servers will bring out the water. The interior is very clean and be sure to stop by next door for a bingsoo after too!
It's been a while since I been back here and it's a solid 4 star. Obviously doing take out for the noodle won't be as good as having it fresh but it was still decent The flavors was good and even though there was chili flakes it wasn't spicy at all. The burger was also really good. Service was standard. Food was ready on time . Parking is ok, they have a parking lot but the spaces are small. The place has a few seatings and it's pretty quiet for the most part. Definitely nice having a location on the Eastside.
I've been to the location at the UW Ave about 11 years ago. Not sure when this one opened up in Bellevue but I'm happy that the quality hasn't gone anywhere since! I got here with two other friends at around 6pm on a Friday night. This place also shares parking with nearby businesses, and it gets full around peak hours. You order your food at the kiosk nearby and servers bring your food to you. Inside has tons of seating for mostly 2-4 people per table, and has a very casual atmosphere. I ordered the spicy cumin lamb hand-cut noodles along with some beef skewers. My friends also ordered their noodles, one of them getting the spicy & tingly beef and the other getting braised pork. We all had a chance to try each other's meats, and you honestly can't go wrong with whichever you decide to get; all of them fit perfectly well with the noodles and spices they add into each of the noodles. The braised pork could even be spicy - this was the only dish that wasn't spicy - and it's still taste just as awesome! For my dish specifically, the lamb was tender and did not have an overpowering gamey taste, and there was a perfect ratio of meat to noodles. I also love my spice, and the level added here was just right and more. Beef skewer was also delicious too; it was even spicier than the noodles, and I just wanted more. In terms of other aspects, food came out pretty quickly, and service was prompt and fast. Pricing is very reasonable for a dish that fills you up, only about $14 per plate before tax. Highly recommended especially if you're looking for quick but richly flavored hand-cut noodles!
Ordered at the kiosk and confirmed dining (not takeout) - food was quick and pleasantly spicy! Ordered wonton in spicy sauce, spicy lamb noodle (with side of veg) wood ear mushrooms, and a water. Restaurant was mostly full but plenty of seating. Easy in, easy out. I wished my noodle had more cilantro on top and didn't realize the extra veg would just be a side of steamed vegetables (I thought it might be on the noodle dish?) still fun to get Biang biang noodles when they're unavailable at home.
Xi'an Noodles in Bellevue is a solid place for a quick lunch. I ordered the beef rice noodle stone bowl with a side of lamb. Both were flavorful, though the meat was slightly on the dry side. They also gave out free mango tea, which was refreshing. Service was impressively fast, my food was ready within minutes after ordering at the self-service kiosk. The restaurant itself is spacious with comfortable seating, and since I didn't come during the lunch rush, it was quiet and relaxing.
The Xi'an noodle location in downtown Bellevue. In the plaza north of downtown, next to the Boiling Point. Very bright modern and simple interior with white and off-white color walls. Small restaurant that can seat 30 people. Not too busy during dinner time in the middle of the week. The place shares the restrooms with the Snow Village dessert place next door. You order at the kiosks at the front, and they bring food to your table. The menu is Shaanxi/Xi'an specialties like hand pulled noodles, skewers etc. I got the paomo which is diced flatbread in a lamb soup. Never had it before so wanted to give it a try. It was a big bowl of soup. The lamb soup was pretty hardy and had a decent amount of meat, which tasted like it's been cooked in a soup. Has coriander, green onions, wood ear and vermicelli for some extra aroma and textures. The diced bread didn't taste anything out of the ordinary. They hold their shape well in the soup, and just like a regular starch. It was $15-16 before tax and tip, so not expensive. Overall, decent place to get a relatively quick meal.
I passed by this place several times as I live pretty close by and had been wanting to go. I have seen it both be empty and completely full so no it isn't one of those places that is always empty. I love the decor style inside very clean minimalist but very pretty, similar style to my old house lots of white and bamboo/wood. We came during lunch and it was completely full. I got the spicy biang noodle soup and it was delicious. The wide noodles which can sometimes be hit or miss were cooked great, not too chewy not too mushy but firm enough to bite into. The broth was delicious spicy but not like overly spicy just to be spicy it was very flavorful. The beef seemed to be high quality beef not generic just toss in whatever beef. Overall I love this place and will be back.
Located where Facing East used to be, they serve very delicious hand pulled noodles. We had the Spicy Tingly beef noodle, pork noodles, and beef sandwich. Everything was delicious. The beef noodle has a good kick but not overwhelming, you can still taste the flavorful beef broth. The noodles had a great chew. The kids had the pork noodles and that was also very delicious. 2 self ordering kiosks, most items had pictures which makes it easier to order. The gentleman behind the counter was really nice and helped me answer some questions regarding the menu. The space is nice and clean, shares the bathroom with Snowy Village. They also had homemade peach tea which was complimentary! Overall amazing experience. Kid friendly with kid bowls. read more
Came back for Liang pi!! The flavor is yummy and addicting, but the noodles themselves were too thick for my liking and wasn't as satisfying. I also had lamb skewers which were pretty good. Definitely eat them hot though, because when they cooled, they were significantly drier lol. I will continue to come back for their dry wheat noodles though bc omg. Xi'an Noodles is a small restaurant tucked away into one of the downtown Bellevue plazas with a dedicated parking lot. It's fairly small and there was no wait on a Saturday around 6:20 PM, but the tables filled up quickly with a bit of a short wait afterwards. You order at the front on the tablets, but a server will show you to a table and bring the food out. Liang Pi (Cold Noodles): All in all a solid rendition and a generous portion size, but I wanted all the flavors to be punchier / turned up a notch. Looking for more spice and more tang. Great mix of textures though. Spicy Cumin Lamb Noodle Soup: The noodles in themselves are really fantastic: super chewy in a satisfying way. The lamb could be a bit more tender, but the soup is nice and hearty for a cold day. read more

Love this spot! Food is delicious, interior is clean and service is quick and efficient My husband and I came here for dinner. They have a small little lot with limited parking. We ordered on their kiosk, grabbed a seat and placed our receipt on the table. Food: They also give complimentary sweet tea which is pretty tasty! - pork dumplings - their dumplings were very tasty! 10/10! - tingly beef noodle soup had a nice flavor and we loved the noodles! - beef skewers - meat was really flavorful Everything we had here was pretty good and we would definitely come back again to try their other items! read more

Always consistent, good, spicy noodles here! It can get crowded during peak times and there's usually only one server scrambling to clear tables, so there's only a tiny bit of a wait. The to-go ordering screen is huge at the front, making the choice easy for you if you don't wanna wait to sit in. But their service is always reachable, it's not a problem communicating what you need with them! It can get lively due to the big groups that come here for a nice time, but on off hours, it's a quiet, cozy space to enjoy spicy, authentic Chinese noodles on a cold winter afternoon! Parking lot is a bit small since there's a huge crowd from boiling point and the dessert place next door, recommend parking further away and walking to the plaza! read more

Omg I actually love this place haha. You can order on a kiosk first then get seated. Water and free fruit tea are self serve. Also, I really enjoyed the fruit tea- it was sooo good. Not too sweet and very subtle tea flavor. I ordered some noodles and they came pretty quickly. There was a variety of ingredients in the dish, which were all pretty fresh. Quite flavorful but not too salty. Noodles were very Q and chewy. I pretty much liked everything about this place. If I lived here, I could see myself coming here quite often. read more
Spicy Cumin Lamb Biang Noodle Soup: I really enjoyed the cumin lamb flavor. The texture of the noodles was chewy and great. Overall, it was a great bowl of noodles. After entering, I ordered on a self-service kiosk. While waiting for my dine-in order, I found a table to sit and wait at. A server will come around with the orders, so make sure you are paying attention when they walk around saying your order number. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while, so I was excited when I knew we were going to be in the area. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and there were quite a few patrons. We ordered the Spicy Cumin Lamb Biang Noodle Soup since that is one of their signature dishes. The broth was very flavorful and spiced just right. The lamb and noodles were surprisingly not too heavy. It was such a well rounded and comforting meal. Perfect for a chilly winter day. read more
Not sure if I would recommend this place outright, but it's a decent option if you're in the area for a casual bite. Dishes have a lot of flavor and balance of spice. You order at the counter and seat yourself, and the staff will bring your order. Our experience was unfortunately diminished by our server, who somehow seemed very begrudging to our table when bringing out dishes (maybe I got the wrong impression?). Despite trying to get her attention multiple times throughout our meal (and this was not a very busy night by any means), wouldn't refill our waters until the very end - and she only refilled one person's at our table even though we all raised our glasses. Because of the spice level of the food, we were all running pretty thirsty... Also, for the price, the portions felt on the small side, especially the side dishes like the skewers. read more
Great spot on the east side for hand pulled noodles! I ordered the cumin lamb biang biang noodles with normal spice levels and the flavors were well balanced. The noodles also had the right amount of thickness and chewiness. The place is not very big, but we were able to get seated right away on a late Saturday afternoon. When I think of the word "Xi'an" I think of NYC's famous Xi'an Famous Foods and their spicy hot oil seared hand ripped noodles. It was a little odd stumbling upon this because I thought it was from the same franchise, but it's a similar concept with different dishes. We ordered via their big touch screen: N1 Spicy Cumin Lamb Biang Noodles N5 Stir Fried Tomato & Egg Biang Noodles Both were reasonably priced at $13.99 however I would've preferred if N5's noodles were tossed in the spicy sauce, but an employee let me know this sauce can be found on the table. While we were seated, they also brought us sweet Chinese Herbal Tea which complemented the food and tasted even more refreshing after we asked for a cup of ice. The space is actually connected to Snowy Village, so when you're heading back to the bathroom don't be surprised by the sight of shaved ice. The mom and son duo working together were very attentive and hard working so I would definitely recommend anyone craving spicy hand ripped noodles to stop by! read more

When I was a student at the University of Washington Seattle, I would eat at Xi'an Noodles located on The Ave frequently. I didn't realize that they had other locations until my friends, and I decided to get lunch together at the Bellevue location. You can order with the cashier at the front, are able to self-checkout at this location, which is convenient if you don't want to hold up the line looking over the menu. So, yes, you have to pay before you receive your order. This is the same with the location at UW. This location is more modern in comparison and has a very welcoming-clean aesthetic to the interior. This time around I ordered the Spicy & Tingly Beef Biang Noodle Soup. Sometimes I would get it without the soup, but either way it is good. I just LOVE the noodles so much. read more

While the food is fine, just a heads up that their POS system has the wrong tax rate coded in. I was charged 10.35% (per my receipt), but per the WA Dept of Revenue website https://webgis.dor.wa.gov/taxratelookup/SalesTax.aspx , Bellevue, WA's current sales tax rate is 10.2%. Everyone's being overcharged (it's a tiny bit, but it adds up, especially with the price of everything going up) :( read more
Utterly disappointing to how far this establishment has fallen. My last review of this place should have actually been lower but I was overrating based on the nostalgia from the good old days when it was just one location at the U district. Even that location has lost its luster. It's natural though once expansion happens quality and the original taste takes a hit unless you're DTF. Decided to give this place another chance today. Checked hours to be sure and it was 8:30 closing. Today, April 18th 2023 Arrived 8:06pm. First off grandpa employee about 3 ft from door smoking. Seriously? I look at him and he knows I was disgusted. Upon entry Grandma employee sitting was nice and greeted me. I get to the order screens they're all blacked out, off. Young guy behind desk just says "Closed.". No smile greeting, no "sorry we're closed," nothing just CLOSED. I look at the time again and he just says "sold out." Boy.....somebody need to teach you how to act. I exit and now employee smoker is right at the door acting like he was tough or something. These 2 guys with this type of behavior give Chinese restaurants a bad name. Closing 30 minutes early also terrible. I rarely give 1 star reviews but in this case after another chance given, they deserve 0 stars and should be negative stars to be honest. The food isn't even anywhere as good as it used to be, they should know that and also have a focus on customer service. Absolutely terrible. read more
