I've been here a couple of times and i has been great, except this last visit. It's the middle of the week and no one was there. I thought, "Great! There's no wait time!" I ordered the milk tea ocean and the roasted oolong milk tea with foam. It was terrible! The boba wasn't fully cooked and the ice cream was more like a slushee .I didn't realize it until I was leaving that there's new employees. I asked for a lid for my ice cream (got the cup ice cream) and the girl didn't even understand what I was asking, even with gestures pointing to the top of the cup! Always love to check out new places for boba and tbh, this was truly "happiness in a cup." The boba is made in-house and it is cool to watch them make it, right in front of you. We went on a Saturday night and of course it was busy, but there were two kiosks to order from, so it wasn't bad at all. We ordered two drinks, the Brown Sugar Boba Milk With Dalgona Coffee (I used almond milk) and the Matcha Brown Sugar Boba Milk. We were reminded to make sure to mix and stir, lol, 18 times to be exact! Both tasted so good, not too sweet but just right, and so fresh. It has a nice location, in the middle of a busy area with restaurants and shopping across the street. As they were sold out of the Mango Boba Milk, the Strawberry Boba Milk, and the Passion Fruit Boba Tea, we will definitely be coming back to try those too. read more

I wish I could have added an entire cup of ice to cut down the sugar and make it an ice cold treat for a hot day. The only downside is that the Boba is so fresh it's still piping HOT and even though they add ice to the cup, the drink doesn't become ice cold at all even after 18 recommended stirs. So just a heads up if you usually like your drink frosty cold, get a separate cup of ice. :) I wouldn't go out of my way to come here from Morgan Hill. I just saw it as a new experience trying super fresh boba. The kiosks were the only interactive communication I had here (thanks COVID). The workers are not very friendly and they don't even make eye contact or say hello. If that's the case, why have glass barriers and a normal looking boba place? I got the brown sugar boba and it was pretty standard milk flavor but the boba was really soft and not as chewy as other places. I think the boba is one of the top quality ones I've had but I wouldn't say the flavors are the best. My friend got one of the fruit flavors and it was mid but again the red boba in it was really good. There's a couple small tables to sit at and they have a large wooden fortune telling shelf like an advent calendar vibe which was cool to play with. There was only screen ordering so if you wanted to change the sweetness or customize its not easy. It's a crazy wait right now as they just opened recently, so I would recommend waiting to try their drinks. They have two machines you can order from but it seems like they're currently serving cold drinks only as you can't press on the hot option. We chose less sugar, but found the brown sugar black tea latte to still be overwhelmingly sweet. They fill about half the cup with boba and after topping it all off with ice, there simply isn't enough tea to offset the amount of brown sugar clinging to the boba. Mr. Sun is much better with their homemade boba and tea. This place is very aesthetic, but not very palatable. Their boba is irregularly shaped, some are extra large while some are extra small which means that the larger boba balls are slightly undercooked and have a chalky center. The milk used in the recommended tea does not taste like regular cow's milk. It seems sort of sour and tart- yogurty. I am not lactose intolerant but this does not settle well in my stomach. Saw an Instagram post about this place having fresh Boba on spot so I had to come try it out let me tell you that line was an hour long. Definitely did not enjoy that but when I got into the place, all the workers seemed really friendly I believe the owner was at the register handling business, but still interacting with customers smiling I ordered the ice cream which I wasn't able to get because they ran out and I wanted to get two of the gold leaf brown sugar Boba, but they sold out so I settled for regular brown sugar milk tea which was really good. The Boba was extremely fresh. I'll personally just wish the drink was a little bit more sweeter. I also got some blue and pink drink called soda some thing all it was was regular club soda. Love this place! my favorite is the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Dalgona Coffee. Today had to have been an off day because it tasted like a cup a milk. I of course take it back because it wasn't made correctly. I'm not sure if it was because there were new people working and they're still "training" but it was nasty. Nonetheless, they remade it and it tasted just like the previous drink, a CUP of MILK. I ended up just throwing it away. Also the reason I'm giving it two stars is because I didn't appreciate the faces that were made when my husband asked them to remake the drink. They all looked irritated/bothered by the request except for the young lady who was wiping down the drinks at the end. Then they proceeded to ask what the issue was, and I told them it was a cup of milk. Then they asked me if I wanted more milk or less milk ...Less Milk please. When I saw that a Xing Fu Tang opened Milpitas I was so excited to go try it! It was pretty busy when I stopped by. They have a self order station and that's what I chose to do. It was pretty standard to order. I got the signature brown sugar boba. The boba is definitely delicious! It's soft, chewy, and sweet, just how I like my boba. The milk tea itself was good but I would describe it as a bit milky. I still did enjoy my drink! They also have a fortune thing where you can get a paper and read your "fortune." It's a cute idea for first timers. If you want soft, chewy, sweet boba this is definitely a must try! I plan to come back to try their soft serve boba milk tea! read more

Great selection of flavors, and I liked that a lot of the drinks (such as the mango pomelo sago, which I loved) used coconut milk as the creamer. In addition to the option to replace dairy milk with oat, almond, or soy (my favorite and an increasingly harder find) milk, this bubble tea shop is very vegan friendly.
