Came across XO Cafe...I was very close so I decided to drop by and give them a try. We ordered two Breakfast Burritos (bacon & chorizo), Very berry pancakes and the Early Birds breakfast all with coffee. Everything was absolutely delicious. I loved the fact that they use organic eggs and it's evident that fresh a wholesome ingredients are an important part of all their items. Before going to the zoo my husband and I wanted to get something to eat and we found this restaurant. When we walked in I noticed how clean it was! It is family owned and we were immediately greeted by the lady at the counter. She gave us recommendations about the menu which was really helpful because we had no idea what to eat. I got a veggie burrito and my husband got a regular breakfast burrito. The potatoes in both of ours were cooked perfectly, the salsa was delicious, the eggs were fluffy and it was just a great start to our day. Also I asked for ketchup and the lady at the counter gave me ketchup and also some special sauce that was absolutely amazing! Xo Cafe has such delicious food. I had the Chicken Quinoa wrap and it was super amazing. Luckily, I was sharing it with my sister because the portions are pretty big. I wouldn't be able to finish it on my own. My cousin had the chicken pesto sandwich and she was super satisfied. I would suggest trying their fries with your meal cause they were so good! The service was great and Teni, one of the ladies that prepared our food was super sweet. Next time I will be back to try their breakfast. I'm also excited to try their pizza! This place is in a small strip of stores and other places to eat. My wife and I are from Ohio and stopped in here for lunch. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly lady that gave us a menu. Everything looked delicious. I ordered the BLTA and my wife ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger. My BLTA had thick cut bacon and plenty of avocado. The burger was very well seasoned and on a delicious bun. We will definitely come back for another meal during our trip! I recommend everyone stop in for a quick, delicious bite to eat. read more

Would give them 4.5 stars. Came in here for breakfast, wasn't really crazy about their dining area, could have been because there was a large party that had put together all the chairs/tables. Not as inviting as it could be. I ordered the Persian omelette, not knowing quite what it was. Wife ordered the Benedict. I have to admit I was really surprised at how good my eggs tasted, like real eggs. My wife also noticed the same thing about her Benedict, the yolks were orange not light yellow like usual, poached a perfect medium. We have had fresh eggs in Texas from a friend who raises chickens and that's what they look like, orange. Probably organic eggs, anyhow tasted great. Hope this place makes it, will be back for the omelette. read more

It's in a little shopping center in the corner. Driven passed here many times and over looked it. Came across it on yelp and finally decided to try it. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. They have a wide selection of food to choose from, from breakfast to pizza and all reasonably priced. We had the early bird breakfast. Eggs were cooked perfectly, the potatoes tasty and the sausage delicious. We also got a BLTA with fries and the Chicken Panini with salad. Both delicious I would highly recommend. XO cafe is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. My kids had the waffles and love them, I had a Panini sandwich and loved every bite of it. It's a small local spot located in a strip mall with limited parking but is highly recommended for a quick breakfast, brunch or lunch for anyone stopping through in this part of Glendale. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable to us every time we have been there, their friendliness make you want to go back over and over again. read more

I really wanted to like this place but a few things really stuck out to me. Pros: 1) Good food! The waffle was delicious, the egg sandwich was a bit bland but still pretty good. 2) Plenty of parking in a pretty quiet part of town. Cons: 1) They ONLY serve bottled water... no water for you if you're dining in and don't want to buy bottled water. I understand that they focus on delivery, but this really kind of ruined the experience for me. It's pricey on the customer and terrible for the environment! 2) Very slow service on a Saturday morning. The place wasn't even packed and we had to go up to the cashier and wait for a while just to pay for our food. They seem to be pretty understaffed at the moment so hopefully this will change. Overall I'm "meh" about this place. I'll try it again a few weeks from now and hopefully things will have improved. read more

I got one of those "check this place out" emails from Grubhub, and XO Cafe was on the list. It's only a few blocks from our house, so we decided to check it out. Wow, was it worth it! It's a small restaurant with a HUGE menu. Almost too many dishes to choose from, it was hard to make up our minds what to try. In the end we both got paninis. My husband got the salad with his and I got the fries. The paninis were perfectly done and had great tasting ingredients. I think next time maybe we'll try a pizza. Don't let them waste time putting the ketchup bottle on your table. Ordinarily I eat a lot of ketchup with fries, but these were so nicely seasoned that there was no need for anything else. The house made salad dressing was wonderfully tasty, too (we shared the sides). You go to the counter to order your food and you can talk with the chef if you want (it's a very small kitchen). They will bring it to your table. It didn't take very long for our food to arrive and didn't take very long for it to disappear, either. :) read more
