I work at the chiropractor down the street from them... I walked in with no clue what to expect. Caramel Latte! fell in love with immediately. This will be my new coffee spot from now on! yummy sweeets to try as well! 10/10

This spot was so unique, loved the theme it has going and service was great. I got the salted maple (I think) and it was perfect. The coffee was smooth and not bitter, sweetness was perfect as well. I will definitely have to come again, their treats looked homemade and delicious! 10/10 recommend.

I tried something new , an iced café de olla and wow, it did not disappoint. I've always had it hot, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was absolutely delicious. The flavors still came through beautifully, just way more refreshing. Definitely getting it this way again! The barista was super nice too! Ambiance was cool and relaxed.

Have been here 3x in the last two weeks, and every visit has been stellar! The shop is tucked away in a small strip mall, and you may not know it's a coffee shop at first. However, if you see the Xolo sign, pull into the parking lot and head in. There is plenty of parking. The folks slinging the coffee drinks appear to be the owner because they've been there every time I have visited. They're kind, warm, and welcoming. Even when they're busy, they make sure to acknowledge folks as they walk in. This might seem like a small thing, but it reminds me of being at the bar and the bartender acknowledging that they'll get your order next. I've had three different versions of their matcha latte, and they've all been delicious. They are happy to recommend items from the menu, and they ask clarifying questions to make sure you get what you want. Haven't had a chance to try their giant chocolate chip cookies yet, but it's on my list. Decor is fun, music is great (and not too loud), plenty of bright lighting, and feels like you're in a friend's *REALLY* nice garage.

If you are looking for a great coffee shop in Phoenix, Xolo Coffee is among the best options in the area. When I arrived there shortly before they opened, I waited patiently for them to open. The owner did not unlock the entrance until a few minutes after its listed opening time, but it was no big deal. He apologized for opening up late and explained what had happened, which I appreciated. Upon entering the shop, the first thing I noticed was the atmosphere. It features a nice, low-key interior, perfect for relaxing while enjoying your coffee. I ordered a simple cold brew, straight up black. It had a perfectly bold flavor. Based on what I saw on the menu, I will have to try their other items next time I stop by. The owner was friendly. Before I ordered the cold brew, he suggested some coffee drinks based on my preferences; next time, I will have to keep those suggestions in mind. Since I was the only one in the shop, I had a pleasant conversation with the owner. He mentioned that not only does he enjoy serving a nice cup of coffee, but he is also a tattoo artist and pointed out the tattoo shop next door. While I enjoyed my coffee, I appreciated how it made me feel right at home the entire time. Next time I am in the area, I will stop by and try some of the other coffee drinks on the menu. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys a good cup of coffee.

Easily will be one of my go to's. Drinks are not super sweet and I can actually taste the espresso. We tried the Mexican cold brew and the brown sugar latte. Both were delicious. I highly recommend the cold brew, one of the best I've had. I'm so happy to have tried this spot. It's hard to find good coffee in Arizona since a lot of places seem to make drinks that have a light espresso roast or is 90% milk. This place is not that so def give it a try!

Got a brown sugar oat milk iced matcha from Xolo, and it was truly one of the best I've had! Just sweet enough without being too sweet and strong enough matcha, which is hard to find. The owner was so sweet and has really created such a beautiful space. I know if I lived in Phoenix, I'd be here often!!

So glad I finally stopped in! This spot is awesome. It has the right vibe. There are so many coffee options, and quite a few pastries too! The drinks are Mexican and Latin influenced. I got the Mexica Cold Brew. It's delicious! It doesn't really even need milk. It has a mix of brown sugar, cinnamon, and other spices. The barista was super nice. I'll be back for sure!

Looking to live to this area and decided to stop and check it out! I'm so happy I did!!! I told the owner to surprise me with a cold drink with almond milk and he made me the azúcar morena!!!! It's soooooooooo dannnnnggggggg good!!!! He said the brown sugar is imported from Mexico and you can tell because it's just taste better lol a must try!! The vibe is super chill and old school. I've been on a pistachio/coffee kick lately and this is the best pistachio coffee drink I've had in phx so far! The pistachio syrup is house made and very flavorful. You can feel the texture of the pistachios in the syrup but I actually quite like that. I would definitely recommend for someone to try. read more

We were recommended Xolo by a friend who loved the owners. We found the same to be true! The owner of the shop made our coffee and matcha. I'm not a coffee gal and he instantly suggested a few options I might like. I enjoyed a strawberry matcha and was delighted! My husband got a coffee recommended by the owner as wel and he loved it. If the drinks we had were any indication of the rest of the menu, I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you get! We also tried a blueberry lemon loaf and it was so moist and yummy (I'm always worried about dry pastries so this stands out!) Owner was very down to earth and friendly. Thoughtful ambience and great for working. Presentation was also beautiful and service was fast. Family owned with the community in mind. Would 10/10 visit again! read more

My daughter and i tried Xolo for the first time yesterday and i was more than impressed. I had the Pistachio espresso and she had the Azucar morena. They were both delicious! only regret is not trying it sooner! the service was great you feel comfortable and treated kindly. I tried to go back today but it's Monday and they are closed so, i sadly i will wait until tomorrow. This is my new coffee spot and I will support our Raza! read more

I went last week for the first time. I asked about the specialty coffees and Malis (not sure how it's spelled) recommended something he would create on the spot for me, he said if I didn't like it I could ask for something else. I had a sip of the drink, and granted the flavor was delicious but my tongue got completely burned because of how hot it was made. I literally had a burnt inflamed tongue for 2 days straight. The man was friendly and all, which is why I didn't say anything because I didn't want to embarrass him and I'm saddened to write this, but I just can't afford to be hurt like this again so I won't be back. read more

My friend and I went to Xolo this weekend after brunch and really enjoyed our time there. We ordered a cafe de olla, latte, and a pumpkin cream cheese pastry. My cafe de olla was so yummy, bold and sweet. Malice, the shop owner, chatted with us and was very generous. I asked him what another patron's cute pink and green drink was, and he later gave us some delicious strawberry matcha to try. Overall, my friend and I very much liked the coffee shop. It's cool, decorated w Mexican details, and has some amazing coffee. Will be visiting more often. read more

I stopped by Xolo Coffee on my way home after fabric shopping nearby. The barista was so welcoming! He asked what type of coffee I liked and I explained I liked to be able to taste the coffee and have it not be super sweet. He offered to make one of his recipes for me as I think he could sense I was undecided. I appreciated it so much. It felt like visiting family and them fixing you a delicious cozy coffee. His creation was delicious and I was sad when it was all gone. I will be back next time I'm in the neighborhood! Thank you for the stellar first time visit. read more

On Sunday, my young daughters and I hit up this spot while we waited for my older daughter visiting a friend at the PCH. I was very grateful to find a local coffee joint to support close to PCH. I ordered the Banana bread - my daughter really enjoyed this. I did too. It'd be fantastic toasted and buttered. Yum yum Apple juice - classic apple juice out of a glass ball. Can't go wrong. Iced Xocolatl - still have no idea how to say this but it was delicious. It literally has the crushed candy stuff in it which lead to little tidbits of nuts to chew on. I personally loved this. They didn't have whole milk but it wasn't a deal breaker at all. They have 1%, almond and oat. We loved this place. The owners were working and were very kind and patient with my kids. While the place wasn't busy at this particular moment, my girls, 2 yo and 3 months were typical children. I appreciated the couch in the back. Gave us a spot to spread out a bit while we waited for my eldest daughter to be done with her visit. The music was just right. The place was clean. Service was prompt. I look forward to visiting again and trying more of their specialty drinks. Thanks for a spot to chill. read more

Return for a couple more times, the coffee did not taste anything as it did on the first time I visited. The barista is not as welcoming as many reviews mention him on here, not sure if it's because it was early Monday morning.. as a coffee fanatic very disappointed, really wanted to like this spot. read more

Where do I begin to describe this coffee shop. XOLO coffee is hands down worth the drive regardless of what part of the valley you commute from. Let's talk about flavor. The GEO, is my absolute go to! Its dark chocolaty, nutty and sweet flavor is like nothing I've ever tasted before. I always ask for lite ice when ordering this drink- you don't want to lose the creaminess. Next choice would be The Café de olla which has a natural earthy note to it, a combination of sweet and subtle bitterness over ice will always hit the spot. Pair this with the barrista behind the counter 'Malice'... he's always a pleasure. Every visit he's seen wearing a smile and finds a way to put those who stop by feel very welcomed. Along with good vibes, the selection of music is never a miss. Not to mention the beautiful art that adorns this shops walls. Xolo is my new favorite coffee spot in Phoenix. An easy winner. Every drink there is made perfectly and by the point of this review I've had several. The inside is curated .. so cool .. so colorful and vibrant. The music is always good. The art is great. The owner is chill. The older guy who works makes the absolute best drinks .. they really put care into their product you can just tell. It's a great spot. I wish them so much success. Cool spot for coffee. I tried the iced pistachio espresso and it was SO SO good. The espresso itself tasted really good and the pistachio sauce was delicious. A lot of times sauces and syrups in coffee don't actually taste like the flavor but this one did. Was not too sweet either. I wish I lived closer to go more often but I will definitely visit any time I'm in the area. read more

Great service, stopped in on Xmas eve and they just closed up. The owner still took care of me and gave me the cafe de olla which I think is the best in the valley. This has been my spot for a while, but the customer service was through the roof. Will suggest this shop to anyone that asks. read more

Came here to try the Cafe de Olla and got a whole experience. Walking through the door you have a beautiful display of culture greeted by friendly faces. The esthetic is great. You have low rider pics, leather sofas and La Virgen displayed with pride. I tried the cafe de Olla hot straight. No cream or mixins. It was good. You can definitely taste the spices. It was on the sweeter side but it was not overpowering. The banana nut breast was phenomenal. It was moist and fluffy with the right amount of banana to nut taste. Hubby got the pumpkin roll and he ate it without sharing so I am going to assume it was also very delicious. read more

If your looking for the best Coffee shop look no further. From the amazing costumer service, to the one of a kind decoration, and the most important part the coffee. It's the best coffee I've ever had. I've tried multiple drink, and let me tell you. You must run not walk to Xolo Coffee. My favorite drinks at Xolo Coffee are as followed they Café de Olla with pistachio cold foam, the Geo with Oak Milk, the summertime madness( not coffee but and amazing blend of fresh steeped Jamaica and one of a kind lemonade), the pistachio, the Matcha Latte and last but definitely not least the Choco Masa Pan. All these drinks are all perfectly balanced, and definitely hit the spot every time. Now the best part is the amazing drinks that they have come up with, and now for the part that sets Xolo Coffee apart for the rest of the coffee shop in the world is the ambiance. The Baristas set the tone for the shop always playing amazing music and the attention to detail that they provide to the customer. Every time I've visited Xolo Coffee I feel like I'm entering a family members house and I get a feeling of warmth, joy, happiness, and a sense of family. It's just a nice home feeling every time you walk in and when you put all that together there is no coffee shop that can compete with Xolo Coffee. Therefore they receive a 10 out of 10. Amazing addition to all the great coffee shops in Phoenix! This place is so good! The guy working was super nice and was working hard to get everyone's drinks out but still took the time to discuss the menu with me and their different options. I got Vinter, which isn't the type of drink I'd normally get, but I loved it! It was a latte with coconut and pecan, but it had actual little pieces of coconut in it and was super rich and creamy. I got my husband a caramel latte with a quad shot of espresso and he was it was really good and had a unique taste too. Really glad I stopped in I hope to come back soon! read more

This is probably one of the better coffee shops, the owner isn't the most social guy but he makes a damn good coffee! Nice atmosphere, cool, clean, great looking space. It is an inviting environment. As longtime patrons who have supported this restaurant regularly for years to be on a regular basis with staff, the interaction felt dismissive and honestly a little offensive. It was surprising to feel so unwelcome at a place we've consistently supported and recommended to others. I still value this restaurant and appreciate the many good experiences we've had here over the years, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. I hope management takes customer loyalty and consistency of service more seriously moving forward.

He's not only incredibly talented but also one of the friendliest and most charismatic people I've met. Really good coffee. The service is extremely well! The ambiance is good cool vibe. The music is low enough to do some work and talk to people easily and high enough to nod your head to! Good vibes all around. My go to is Cafe De Olla with oat milk over ice!! All the drinks are great. Made with love. The pastries are delicious!! I bring my family and friends here all the time. Amazing authentic Mexican/Chicano vibes with great homemade cafe de olla and rich Mexican flavored coffee if you choose something else. Most purees are homemade for their specialty lattes and the barista, Malice, is very passionate about coffee and serves up a story with every shot he pours! 5 stars to Xolo!
