They play music, have an awesome selfie wall with angel wings and halo, the menu has good selections for breakfast and lunch. I wish I found this place sooner! I went here with a friend for lunch on a Saturday and the place was busy! However, service was quick and friendly. We got the Chicken Panini, Turkey Sando, and Mojito Latte. The sandwiches came with a choice of potatoes, chips, or a side salad. Everything was so delicious and the portions were generous. The latte was amazing and not too sweet. I also got some conchas (turtle shape was $2 and regular one was $1) which were also yummy. Only downfall for me was that the potatoes were a bit too hard for my liking. They are cut small so I'm assuming they got hard rather than crispy? Best breakfast sandwich in EG! I really enjoy Camellia's Coffee Roasters in downtown for their breakfast sandwiches but when I want to stay local, I go to Xulo for my breakfast fix. Tried their French Toast today and it was delicious! Nice and fluffy with a crisp outside upon first bite! Lots of seating in the cafe. Very welcoming and patient staff. Their iced coffee drinks are decent. Nice place to study or catch up with friends. Plenty of parking in the lot which is always a major plus. The food may look basic but the flavors are not ! Searched up breakfast places this morning and decided..why the hell not ?NO REGRETS AT ALL !the food was soooo good and service was quick. Nice little place but it felt roomy at the same time. Their cold brew had great flavor and the hot mocha was thick and rich. I kind of wish the coffee beverages were served in actual cups instead of to go ones when dining in, but eh...makes it easier to take home. Had the breakfast burrito with bacon as the protein and my boyfriend had the cubano .BOTH were a hit and we will certainly be going back to try their other food items on the menu. Only thing about the sandwich I would change is to serve the pickles on the side instead of in the sandwich but that's just my preference .they also have this chipotle vinaigrette sauce on their greens - spring mix salad - that tasted soooo good! read more

We came here on a Saturday since I needed an afternoon pick me up. It's in a shopping center so plenty of parking. The place is small but they have a lot of seating the decor is really cute. I menu is on top on a board where you can see it. They had a lot of vonchas in different colors and they had turtle concha's. The prices are reasonable. I was recommended by the person who worked there a dulce de leche iced. My husband had a Mexican mocha. I personally think this place is under rated. My coffee was perfect! I like my coffee sweet but not overly and they made it perfect. My husband said he loved his coffee. They sons loved the little turtle conchas they were really cute. I ordered the Dulce de latte and it was so yummy and creamy! There was only one server working in there and he was very attentive to my mom and I when we were there. For food we got the croissant sandwich and French toast. Both were delicious. The only thing I would change is get a different type of bread next time. The interior is also very adorable. I love Xulo coffee bar! Been a couple times now, and everything has been delicious! They have a super extensive menu for both food and drinks, so there's literally something for everyone! The restaurant/cafe set up means it's a great spot for something casual or studying, as well as a great spot to meet with friends or take the family for breakfast. I love their veggie breakfast burrito! Fantastic portion size, I always get 2 meals out of it. There's some outdoor seating if you want to bring your dog, but the outdoor space is limited and kind of in the middle of the sidewalk, so probably better suited for small or medium size pets who won't mind the foot traffic. I went to Xulo when it was still very new and it was really good. I just went back and now they have food all day and it was great!! The paninis are really tasty! It came out hot and melty with a big side of greens that had a super zesty vinaigrette. I had the Dulche de Leche latte and it was so yummy. It's not cheap but that's not a thing anymore. But yeah, no hi or hello, no welcome, just dead silence. Food: we ordered the açaí bowl, and the Dulce de leche iced latte. The latte was pretty good, it was sweet, creamy and the it came in a pretty decent size. The açaí bowl was disappointing. Our orders came out in a warm bowl, which made the açaí pretty warm. It wasn't as good, as I was wanting the cold goodness that açaí or smoothie bowls have. But since they had the mistake of using warm bowls, both of our orders tasted like a warm soup with soggy warm bananas and strawberries. Yikes. Before leaving I ordered the turtles conchitas. The size was also disappointing. The conchas they sell are pretty small. I would say as big as my palm and they were like $2 which I thought was pricey for a teeny tiny concha. I ended up ordering two. When my husband and I tasted it when I got home, it was also disappointing. The bread tasted stale and super dry. When you bite into it, the crumbs would just keep falling. My husband said it didn't taste anything special. Their conchas taste regular like the ones you can purchase at the store. Would I give this place another try? Yes, for their coffee. The good thing about this place is that they have plenty of spaces for parking. In addition, they are surrounded with other cafes and restaurants so if you don't get the experience you expected, you can just go next door. read more

Excuse my language....but this place never freaken fails. Got the usual, our Dulce de leche and cajeta lattes and since they got little conchitas we got a pair to accompany our warm drink. This time they have new colors and little turtles!! (See photos for reference) He got a nice turkey sando which looks bomb!!! You get the options of chips or greens as a side, so choose your side of preference. As for myself, I love how crispy yet fluffy their waffles are so I went with the Dulce de leche waffles this time. CAUTION, these waffles are the best I've tried around here. Such crunchy, crispy outer shell and semi-sweet fluffy inside. And they decorate it with a nice little flower! 2nd time visiting Xulo, this time with my elderly parents. I was excited to take them to this local coffee spot where we could quickly get a light breakfast or lunch. We tried the pancakes, peanut butter toast and avocado toast. Our lattes and white mocha were delicious. Pancakes fluffy with a tad sweetness to them without the syrup; toast items were just ok...would not order either one again, especially for the price. I was disappointed with the service. We walked in and it wasn't busy. There was one cashier. She didn't greet us at all which was very odd. There was nobody else in line and she wasn't assisting anyone. How difficult is it to say "welcome in, you can sit wherever you want and order at the counter when you're ready; let me know if you have any questions on the menu"....definitely lacking service with a smile.... read more
