This was extremely frustrating. I called ahead to check if they were busy and was told they were not, and to come in at 2:45 PM. I showed up as instructed and ended up waiting an hour and a half. After all that waiting, I was still told I would need to wait longer. I left. I've never done that before at a salon. It honestly feels like the front desk never put me down at all. This is the third time I've come here for a hair cut, and every single time I've waited at least 45 minutes, even when I had an appointment. I go to a salon to get pampered but don't expect that from this place. They have the worst service. I made an appointment online but they were not aware of it because apparently they don't check their online appointments. You're supposed to call them over the phone. Great. So I left and was asked to come back 2 hours later. When I did, the whole experience was just awful. The station was not cleaned or sanitized. They barely cleaned my nails. They pretty much just shaped my nails and applied gel polish to it. Even the UV lamp to dry your nails had weird particles inside. It was gross. The ladies working here don't speak much english, too so it's hard to communicate to them what you want done or fixed. Was asked to wash my hands at the end and when I sat back she squirted lotion on my hand and asked me to lather it myself. Everything here is pretty much DIY. Jason is amazing. Open Sundays. We found Y&S online and I am so glad I did. Jason worked for years at a very busy salon in New York by JFK airport, which catered to America caucasians. Now he is working with primarily Asians. He brings a perfect blend of working on Americans in a very Asian environment. I love how he straightened my hair perfecfly after covering my grays. Had a groupon for a gel manicure and it was a lovely experience! I was the only one in the salon and the salon was really nice and clean. They had tons of options for colors. I have been here 3 times for nails and lashes. First nail experience was horrible. The nail tech cut my cuticles too deep and I kept bleeding. Luckily it didn't hurt too much. Second nail experience was by Jennifer. She did the most perfect nail for me. As for my lash experience, over all was good. Lash tech Lisa was super polite and decently quick on lash application. However I have never had allergies towards lash extensions till she worked on my lashes recently. I still have redness in my eyes and I am unsure what next step is. read more

If you want your hair destroyed, go to this place. I avoided this place like a plague but I was desperate since my hairstylist was busy and I was going on a trip. This place was available on the same day so I gave it a shot. I wanted something quick and simple. Just a trim nothing special and trim my bangs (natural face frame)...the guy instead gave me hella layers, from bangs to my whole head. I look like an Asian Karen or HK people from circa 2005...the layer wasn't even great, I looked like a mushroom head. I would have forgiven my hair being layered but what really destroyed my look are my bangs. He hella layered my bangs to the point it stuck up. Like who does that?! Terrible experience. This was a second time with appointment for lashes I was asked to wait. First time 30 min and then got a girl I did not make specific appointment with. My lashes lasted a week and that was it. Today with appointment after waiting for 10 minutes, I was asked to wait another 20 which turned into 40! An hour later when she (Lisa) finally started to work on me, she disappeared for another 10 minutes. I had my eyes all taped up and all. I've had it....now an hour later I was still where I started. Last time I came here to have acrylic nails removed, it cost me just $10, but when I went recently either they changed the price or up charged me double the amount. If the price changed that's something that should be told to the customer or posted somewhere. I told them that the last time I came it was $10 but they disagreed and said it's always been $20. This place is extremely pricey! I went in as a walk in for gel nails with art. I saw their yelp photos with nail arts and it was totally my style so I decided to come in. I showed them a picture of what I wanted which is similar to the arts they have on yelp. I didn't get the name of my nail tech but she did an amazing job and my nails were just like the photo I showed her. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because if the price. I paid $140 w/o tip just for simple gel nails and simple decor. At other places I've usually paid only around $30 - $50 for the same kind of nails. I was kind of taken back by the price. I wasn't sure if I heard her correctly but then I saw my bank account deduct $140 already. I believe that the nails are not even worth over $100 but it's my fault for not asking the price in the first place. Overall, I would not come back because of the price. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed for 23 years and have never had them bleed, swell or hurt nearly as bad as this. I waited overnight to see if the swelling or redness would subside, but I am pretty sure I am going to scab at this point. Not only that but I am in excruciating pain. Furthermore, I came in to get a gel fill, because their website says they do gels, later they informed me they do not do gel fills. Finally, after getting a pedicure since they couldn't do anything else, I was charged a whopping EIGHTY DOLLARS for a pedicure, I didn't even have callus removal and it was EIGHTY DOLLARS. My friend got a pedicure WITH callus removal and hers was FOURTY DOLLARS! I'm not sure if this place should even legally be open if they are going to permanently SCAR PEOPLE'S FACES! I only came here as a desperate last option because every other nail salon was closed early on a Sunday but lesson learned! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!'
