I have eaten here a few times now so I feel this is a pretty legit 5 stars I'm giving. I have tried the Back Home Style chicken shawarma roll up. It is different but has a wonderful garlic sauce that comes with it. They flat top grill it so it has a good crunch to it. My usual is a Gyro Pita. The gyro meat is so good. The pita is filled to the max. Ask for the pickles. They are amazing. Also, if you like a kick, get it "spicy". Even you like it hot, get it "extra spicy"! Today, I had a bowl. I wanted more meat than pita. I got half and half meat and I added spicy humus and Dolmas. It comes with a side of sauce (I chose Tazikis) and a pita. It was so delicious. I love how friendly the service is and how quick the food orders come out. If you are looking for some quick Mediterranean food that also tastes good, stop by and enjoy your meal outside. Ugh. So many complaints about this place. I ordered a bowl and it was so full of juicy shawarma chicken, kale, salad and spicy hummus. Amazingly good food! I am kind of picky about my falafel. I don't like it too hard, too dry, or too greasy. The falafel here was moist on the inside and perfectly fried on the outside. It's the best falafel I've found in the area. The hummus is divine, it's smooth and delicious. The dolma was good especially when I dipped it into the vegan tahini sauce. The kale salad was just OK. It didn't really blend well with the other flavors I had going on. I would skip it next time, and there will definitely be a next time. read more

This is probably the best hummus of ever tasted in my entire hummus eating life. The Shawarma was OK nothing to write negative about but it did not impress me as much as the humus. It is creamy smooth texture, with just the perfect amount of acidity. My wife had picked the ball which was nice and with plenty of the options. I went for a Shawarma wrap. While picking up the food I noticed some people had ordered the back home Shawarma wrap item and it looked really good but I did not taste it. Tiniest chicken shawarma wrap I've ever had. Rip off for the price. $12. I've had chicken shawarmas in multiple countries and multiple places around the bay and came here for the first time expecting a normal sized wrap. Ordered two and walked away, looked in the container and realized they must've only given one order cause it was so tiny. They confirmed it was two orders. Was so surprised and felt ripped off. Also noticed they shove the rest of wrapper into a pocket at the bottom of the wrap making it even smaller, deceiving. (See pictures) Seemed more like a snack wrap and would pay $7 for it. I came here with my friends to get take out and was very satisfied. When I walked in, the workers greeted me and asked how my day was even though they were busy. This place has a lot of issues with food 1. Baba Ghanoush was bad and slimy 2. Pitas were not fresh and soft 3. Falafels have no taste 4. I was on my way to the Chipotle next door when I noticed a "Lentil soup season" sign out in front. I knew I had to check this place out, and I'm so glad I did! I ordered a falafel wrap and a bowl of the lentil soup. Both were very delicious! The wrap had the perfect ratio of falafel, veggies, and sauce inside. We ordered two chicken shawarmas, a small size babaganoush, one side of falafels, and side of fries. I am giving them one star because the place was clean and the fries was very tasty. However, the chicken shawarms are not made from lavash bread, instead they are made with large size tortillas and very tasteless. It's like having a burrito with shawarma meat. I was very disappointed. The babaganoush was bitter and I had to purchase two pita breads separately. I ended up throwing out the babaganoush. This is the only place that I saw that serves babaganoush without rice or bread. They are extremely stingy because they will give you 2 ketchups at a time, even though we had a side of fries. Everything is shiny and new, it's very clean, and the employees are very nice. The real reason for my visit was try them out to make sure it was good before I placed a catering order for work for 80+ people. They did not disappoint. The food was delicious. Falafel Wrap: This was the best falafel I've had in this area. It was cooked perfectly, not over-cooked and hard like some other places in the area. As a family we are big fans of this type of food. Regulars at Opa, nick the Greek, etc. I've got to say this place rivals them all. Simply the best hummus I've ever tasted. Everything as so flavorful! The restaurant was super clean, nice layout, stylish and welcoming. The staff is the ultimate reason I was compelled to write a review. Mohammad has a sense of pride in what he does. A real warm and welcoming guy. Makes you feel like family the second you walk in the door. He got to know my kids names, recommended plates to eat, checked in midway through our meal to ensure everything was enjoyable. Even gave our two year old a little extra pita bread when she ran out. I wouldn't be surprised if the guys family owns this place. If he's not in ownership, they really scored on securing this type of manager. A real gem.
