The food at Yafa Hummus was super delicious and honestly really filling. Everything had great flavor and the portions left me completely satisfied. I'd definitely come back again and try more of the menu. Definitely worth checking out if you're craving some good Mediterranean food!

Amazing experience, an authentic rich hummus. Delightfully, tender, pita fresh crispy fries shoestring but a little fatter. We really appreciate it. They had so many sauces made not with mayo (Eggless). The garlic sauce is made with mayo. I enjoyed their liberal use of pickles. I wish the wraps have the same succulent pita that is served on the side, it is made with burrito like wraps. The falafel is a very fair price and is fresh. Restaurant is bustling, many orders from DoorDash. Friendly but busy servers and cashiers the same. Next line, the baklava was amazing. 7/5. One of the best in my lifetime experience. Crispy by phyllo dough, crunchy inside nuts, your choice of pistachio, cashews, or walnut.

I got a chicken shwarma and gyro bowl with white rice, spicy hummus, and greek salad. I enjoyed the chicken over the shwarma. I also tried the falafel, which I prefer over the gyro meat as well. The bowl was a large portion for the price, can easily be shared between two people. The store has a decent amount of seating and was fairly clean. The service was fast, but I did go when it was pretty empty. You can order on a kiosk. I would say it's comparable to Halal Guys but not Cava.

My cousins and I went to Yafa Hummus in Tracy without very high expectations since none of us have tried a Mediterranean dish before but WOW! The food was amazing! We got the Shawarma Fries, steak shawarma roll, and chicken shawarma wrap. The fries were packed with flavor, and both the steak wrap and chicken shawarma wrap were delicious and filling. We keep wanting to get more because of how delicious everything was. The portions were pretty big. We ended up sharing everything between three people and still had plenty of food. On top of that, the prices were a great deal for how much you get. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend if you are in the area.

My favorite restaurant in Tracy! Everything is delicious. Recently they have been trialing a new breakfast menu on the weekends that is just fantastic. I ordered one of everything, and there were no misses. Standouts were the shakshuka, potato and eggs, and hummus with steak. And don't pass up in the tea. Beyond the food, the service is amazing from really genuinely nice people.

While the food is still tasty, the service here really needs improvement. The vibe when I walked in was definitely not welcoming. They've added kiosks for ordering, and since there was no line and it wasn't busy, I figured that was the way to go--so I placed my order there. I sat down to wait, but then noticed a couple walk in after me and order directly at the register. It seemed like it was their first time because they were asking a ton of questions... meanwhile, I was still waiting, and the staff member who could've been making my food was busy helping them at the register. That's when I noticed my receipt had a convenience FEE just for using the kiosk. What in the world? Shouldn't it be the other way around? I'm saving them time by ordering myself, yet I'm the one getting charged? and it's not much, but it leaves a bad taste as there was no signage anywhere to indicate this like when there's a card fee posted. Had I known, I absolutely would've just gone to the register. They weren't busy anyways. When my food was finally ready, they called my name. I walked up and the guy didn't say a word--just pushed the bag toward me and walked away. Not even a hello or thank you. Eating out I think is a luxury, especially these days, and prices aren't getting any cheaper. The least I expect is basic courtesy. I got my food and left. Honestly, I don't think I'll be coming back for a while.

Yafa Hummus food hit it out of the park! I have never been this excited for Mediterranean food. Flavorful, healthy, fresh and simply delicious. There is a self ordering kiosk that I felt lost the customer and owner relationship but if you're in a hurry and there is a long line during peak hours, this is the way to go. Ambiance is more of a Togo than dine in as there are many warehouse and industrial business within the radius. Food is delicious! Highly recommended! From their hummus that was a recipe handed down by their grandfathers to the tzatziki sauce to the dolmas and wraps! So good!

I got the 6 piece falafel and they were super nice and gave me some extra. The food tasted great and came with a sauce. The service was quick and kind. The ambiance was chill and laid back. I recommend coming here, especially if you're looking for some Dubai chocolate if they have any available, hang out with friends and family to chill.

I found myself in Tracy car buying on a Friday night (random, I know....) It was 8:30 by the time I was done and hadn't eaten dinner. Yafa was open until 9 so I figured it's hard to go wrong with Mediterranean and they proved that to be true! Around 8:45, the place was buzzing with people coming in for take out orders. You order at the kiosk (easy) and they call your number. The restaurant was clean and bright. The food itself-amazing! I had a falafel bowl. You can choose two different bases and they give you lots of options from Greek salad to rice and more. I got the brown rice and tabouli. The bowl also comes with two sauces (again you can pick.) I tried the tzatziki and tahini. Both were really good. The bowl is huge and the combo of flavors complimented each other well. The staff was very kind and told us no problem to dine in, even though they were cleaning up to close (they said they were going to be there a while.) They were so nice about it and we tried not to overstay our welcome and tried to finish our meals a little bit after 9. Great spot and how I wish they'd come out to Brentwood-I'd be a regular!

As much as Mazra is great at/known for their meats, they also put so much thought and care into their vegetables. For example, our favorite mezza is their Whole Cauliflower, which is a massive cauliflower head that's roasted and then coated with a lemon tahini dressing. (They also give you more lemon to squeeze on it.) The cauliflower always comes out perfectly roasted; the inner parts are tender and toothsome, while the outer parts are crispy and a deep, golden brown. Another great vegetable option is their Veggie Plate, which is a plate overflowing with delights on a bed of their rice: falafel; a segment of their cauliflower; roasted broccoli and potatoes; their saffron mushrooms; and a halloumi roll. Each item is about as perfect as can be, and the sheer quantity makes it a fantastic deal. Of course, we still love their shawarma plates, which you can get with either chicken or steak shawarma. The meat comes thinly cut and tender, and somehow still a bit juicy! The plates are also a great value, since they come with a ton of great items that pair well with the meat. These include a rich, savory sauce (toum [garlic sauce] with the chicken, tahini with the steak) and two of their amazing sides. My favorite sides are the baba ghannoush (creamy and earthy) and their fries (golden, crispy, and pillowy). They continue improving the space, too. The pickup window makes it so much easier to get takeout, and they've really dialed in the flow of the inside and back courtyard seating areas.

The place was buzzing at that hour. I ordered the lamb chops cooked medium with basmati rice. The lamb was so tender and full of flavor. My husband ordered the Chicken BBQ plate with garlic roasted potatoes. I'm really not into Mediterranean food but I was curious about all the rave about this place and I must say, I loved it! Before our meals, we tried the free Turkish tea, quite strong for me, added several sugar packs but no milk available. However, this place is still a win! The service and ambiance, solid. Welcoming staff. It did not disappoint. I'm coming back!

Unfortunately, I was served beef anyway. On top of that, the salad was spoiled. Shortly after eating it, I became extremely sick and started vomiting repeatedly. Looks like it took over the old Harry's Hofbrau space except they turned that massive space into 2 units now, as the days of massive dining halls are starting to become a rarity. Order at a counter and food gets brought to your table. There's a full bar (which I thought was strange for this type of food) but this is also Livermore where it still tends to have a stronger drinking culture than most other suburban towns. Most of the seating is in their 'outdoor' patio which is pretty well enclosed with one of those catering tents. Babaghanoush ($8/2.5*) Looked great with warm pita and an olive oil drizzle on top. Texture was spot on creamy and soft but they overloaded this usually delicate dip/mezze with enough raw garlic to kill a horse. Now I usually love garlic but this was to the point where you couldn't taste anything else so main ingredient which is roasted eggplant, you couldn't even tell what it was. And your mouth was tingling with that harsh garlic taste for minutes after chewing it down. Instead of wasting it, I packed it home and used it like Toum to spread onto other things. I've actually had Toums less potent than this. Adana Kabob ($19/4.5*) This a ground lamb kabob Turkish style. Similar to a Lule, Koobideh, Shami kabobs from other cultures. Turkish has pretty bold spicing but not as strong as Afghan or Pakistani. And definitely more assertive than Persian or Armenian. So kind of in the middle of the spectrum. I loved the texture and the flavor, just maybe a tad ambitious on the charring. Now that char did add an awesome grill flavor but a couple degrees more than burnt qualities may then be perceived. Combo Beef/Lamb Kabob $20/4*) For combos you can actually pick from several kabobs. They use smaller chunks like half inch cubes small. It is very natural tasting, no heavy marinades or spicing. Tasted like just salt to me so you can really taste the protein. But very well done but not really dry. I just prefer larger chunks like at least 1 inch cubes, so the meat stays juicy and succulent. Afghan and Persian kabobs usually have bigger pieces on those skewers. And these plates have a side of salted plain rice (not basmati) a green salad, some pita and a nice dollop of hummus which was top notch. Decent food, efficient service is going to make them a solid option for me in this town. Iskender, lamb shanks still in the zone for me to try.
