The food at Yafa Hummus was super delicious and honestly really filling. Everything had great flavor and the portions left me completely satisfied. I'd definitely come back again and try more of the menu. Definitely worth checking out if you're craving some good Mediterranean food!

Amazing experience, an authentic rich hummus. Delightfully, tender, pita fresh crispy fries shoestring but a little fatter. We really appreciate it. They had so many sauces made not with mayo (Eggless). The garlic sauce is made with mayo. I enjoyed their liberal use of pickles. I wish the wraps have the same succulent pita that is served on the side, it is made with burrito like wraps. The falafel is a very fair price and is fresh. Restaurant is bustling, many orders from DoorDash. Friendly but busy servers and cashiers the same. Next line, the baklava was amazing. 7/5. One of the best in my lifetime experience. Crispy by phyllo dough, crunchy inside nuts, your choice of pistachio, cashews, or walnut.

I always wanted to try this place because I have crossed this place multiple times before. Let me start with something positive , this place has an inviting ambiance and decent number of tables if you want to enjoy your ordered food there. We ordered through app , so it was hassle free. Service took some time though . We ordered a chicken shawarma and gyro bowl , and their zinger chicken wrap. Honestly on plate, they looked delicious , but when you have your first bite , it was just meh. All elements are there but flavor was missing. The amount of protein in the bowl was very less in-comparison to places I have tried before . The tahini served was bitter.Pita bread was the only thing which was on point. Zinger chicken wrap was no where close to what it should have tasted. I really wanted to love this place but could not find a single element in our ordered food, which was amazing or out of ordinary .

I got a chicken shwarma and gyro bowl with white rice, spicy hummus, and greek salad. I enjoyed the chicken over the shwarma. I also tried the falafel, which I prefer over the gyro meat as well. The bowl was a large portion for the price, can easily be shared between two people. The store has a decent amount of seating and was fairly clean. The service was fast, but I did go when it was pretty empty. You can order on a kiosk. I would say it's comparable to Halal Guys but not Cava.

My cousins and I went to Yafa Hummus in Tracy without very high expectations since none of us have tried a Mediterranean dish before but WOW! The food was amazing! We got the Shawarma Fries, steak shawarma roll, and chicken shawarma wrap. The fries were packed with flavor, and both the steak wrap and chicken shawarma wrap were delicious and filling. We keep wanting to get more because of how delicious everything was. The portions were pretty big. We ended up sharing everything between three people and still had plenty of food. On top of that, the prices were a great deal for how much you get. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend if you are in the area.

My favorite restaurant in Tracy! Everything is delicious. Recently they have been trialing a new breakfast menu on the weekends that is just fantastic. I ordered one of everything, and there were no misses. Standouts were the shakshuka, potato and eggs, and hummus with steak. And don't pass up in the tea. Beyond the food, the service is amazing from really genuinely nice people.

While the food is still tasty, the service here really needs improvement. The vibe when I walked in was definitely not welcoming. They've added kiosks for ordering, and since there was no line and it wasn't busy, I figured that was the way to go--so I placed my order there. I sat down to wait, but then noticed a couple walk in after me and order directly at the register. It seemed like it was their first time because they were asking a ton of questions... meanwhile, I was still waiting, and the staff member who could've been making my food was busy helping them at the register. That's when I noticed my receipt had a convenience FEE just for using the kiosk. What in the world? Shouldn't it be the other way around? I'm saving them time by ordering myself, yet I'm the one getting charged? and it's not much, but it leaves a bad taste as there was no signage anywhere to indicate this like when there's a card fee posted. Had I known, I absolutely would've just gone to the register. They weren't busy anyways. When my food was finally ready, they called my name. I walked up and the guy didn't say a word--just pushed the bag toward me and walked away. Not even a hello or thank you. Eating out I think is a luxury, especially these days, and prices aren't getting any cheaper. The least I expect is basic courtesy. I got my food and left. Honestly, I don't think I'll be coming back for a while.

Yafa Hummus food hit it out of the park! I have never been this excited for Mediterranean food. Flavorful, healthy, fresh and simply delicious. There is a self ordering kiosk that I felt lost the customer and owner relationship but if you're in a hurry and there is a long line during peak hours, this is the way to go. Ambiance is more of a Togo than dine in as there are many warehouse and industrial business within the radius. Food is delicious! Highly recommended! From their hummus that was a recipe handed down by their grandfathers to the tzatziki sauce to the dolmas and wraps! So good!

I got the 6 piece falafel and they were super nice and gave me some extra. The food tasted great and came with a sauce. The service was quick and kind. The ambiance was chill and laid back. I recommend coming here, especially if you're looking for some Dubai chocolate if they have any available, hang out with friends and family to chill.

Yafa was a stop off the highway on a roadtrip somewhere else, but man do I wish there was one closer to where I live! The food was well-priced, delish, and they have tons of options! I'm more familiar with the Yalla chain, but I would take Yafa over that in a heartbeat. read more

Nice to have a falafel now and then. The plate was on the expensive side, I opted for 50/50 falafel and chicken swarma. With drink, almost $14. That to me is an expensive lunch. Not worth $14. Oh yeah, if you use a credit card, they'll ask for a tip on top of the $14. Pays to pay with cash. Sounds more like San Francisco prices than Tracy prices. read more

we come here once about every 2 months. we typically don't like hummus too much, but this place changed our minds. we always order the bowl: gyro and chicken mix, pesto and spicy hummus, and tzatziki. i've not been disappointed. not an expert with this cuisine, so i don't know if they're comparable, but this place beats nick the greek in every aspect. here are the negatives: - we tried the spicy "back home style" wrap and weren't too fond of it. i think it was the hot sauce. it was oversaturated with, what tasted like, franks red hot. - found their falafel on the dry side. i'm not much of a falafel fan, and theirs did nothing to change my mind. - lately they've been giving a little less meat. i hope this doesn't become an ongoing trend. read more

Was in Tracy at dinner time and decided to try something different. Yelp hasn't let me down yet! I had a delicious dinner - got one of the bowls. You can choose the base, the protein, and 2 sides for an incredibly reasonable $8.99. I had Gyro over Greek salad with dolma and baba ghanoush. I also couldn't resist a piece of baklava! This place is great. The owner and staff is great as well and very friendly. They make sure you enjoy your meal and even said they'd compliment the meal if we hated it. It was our first time and were a bit confused in the beginning, but they walked us through it and asked what kind of flavors we were into. I ended up getting a typical gyro sandwich with lamb. The meat was flavorful and the ingredients were fresh and clean. The entire thing complimented each other perfectly. My husband order their bowl and mixed his meats and chose his sides. He enjoyed it as well and it was a nice way to eat a gyro sandwich, but bowl style. I think next time I would order that way instead, a little less messy! We will definitely be coming back. I also love their table & chairs, which I asked the owner where he got them. He said he would get that info for me, but of course... it was just a nice gesture. haha (I'M STILL INTERESTED BY THE WAY!) read more

This is my go to lunch place these days! The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly. Service is quick. It's perfect for when I need to eat while on the go and not feel too guilty about the calories. My go to lunch of choice: Bowl with Greek salad base Half chicken, half gyro Classic hummus (I've tried them all but this is my fav!) Dolma Garlic & Tzatziki sauces on top The pita bread is soft and served warm, yum! The falafel is also really good. Everything I've tried has been tasty. The staff are very nice and helpful. Being from the same region I was looking for something somewhat authentic. I like the idea of customization of Schwarma's, Gyros, etc. but the speed of service is quite fast for this type of food. I was literally in and out within 5-minutes, this was noon on a Tuesday. Place was clean and smelled good, everything was clean in the kitchen from what I could see. After speaking with one of the staff, apparently there's a "secret" menu. I will be ordering the "back home" schwarma on my next visit, lets see if it tastes just like back home, haha. The food I got today was their Chicken Schwarma (I didn't order double meat but it's got a lotttttt of meat, yay), Addas (Lentil Soup), and their salad. Bottom line, it's already finished. Very good food, good atmosphere, and a nice family. read more

If you happen to love hummus and falafel (And Middle Eastern food in general) (The lentil soup is outstanding too)do yourself a favor and check out Yafa Hummus. We tried it for the first time last week and are addicted. It is now currently our favorite restaurant in Tracy. While it is not white tablecloth sit down fine dining, it is the best food and ultimately that is what counts. When you go, let Mohammed tell you his heartwarming story about how and why he started the business. My wife and I firmly believe that he is "doing his grandfather proud"! By the way, all our fellow Bay Area commuters...the hummus with some falafels and a bowl of lentil soup makes a great lunch to go and travels well! read more

Move over Chipotle, there's a new bowl in town!! I came across Yafa Hummus on Yelp, while searching for shawarma. A good experience all around. People running the place were nice. Ordered the chicken shawarma bowl, which they give you options about what you want in the bowl. I chose White rice, original hummus, Mediterranean salad(cucumbers and tomatoes), topped with garlic sauce. The food was delicious and the chicken was flavorful and juicy. Well worth the price. A new favorite spot. read more

Yafa is a fast casual restaurant run by a family that knows what they're doing. Perfect if you're hungry and looking for a heavy lunch (with some left over). Food is dense and servings are large! The Food How much you eat (and how your stomach feels afterwards) will directly depend on the sides and sauces you choose. I recommend the gyro, and highly recommend their special garlic sauce. The combination is especially good over rice, but if you're feeling like cutting the carbs and not falling asleep in the afternoon, enjoying it over lettuce is a great alternative. They have a few different options (different nuts) for baclavas, which they make in-house. I highly recommend trying these, even if only for curiosity. The Service The sons who run this place for their father, who helped design the interior, are extremely hospitable. They not only make sure you are satisfied with the food, but genuinely like interacting with guests and are overall very friendly. I no longer frequent this place as I've moved out of Tracy, but will definitely visit again the next time I come through! read more

Everything we had here was delicious! If you like pesto, try the pesto hummus. It's subtle and delicious. The falafel are wonderful! Not as large a selection as many places - they basically do wraps or bowls, but so many options, and sides available. Service was very quick and friendly too. read more

Wow! I'm amazed at not only the quality, but the quantity & freshness too! I'm middle eastern, so I grew up eating this kind of food and until now, I've never eaten at an Arabic food established that truly taste authentic. This place really nailed it! The falafel was hot & crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful on the inside. The first bite sent me spiraling into childhood memories of my fathers falafels. The hummus is not over seasoned like that store bought garbage and the texture of it is like fresh powder-snow fallen on a mountain top. The shawarma was tender, moist and flavorful. The staff is friendly, helpful & welcoming and the pricing is phenomenal, too! In time, my kids will become part of the furniture, as we're regulars there. We decided to go out of our box and try something new, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our decision! Service was top notch from the beginning. As we were looking through the menu for the first time, their staff walked us through the menu and the options they had. My wife decided on a chicken shawarma bowl and I went with a gyro wrap. If you're going to read one review of this place, read this one only because I'm speaking for 3 people, two of which happen to be extremely satisfied guys who miss their mothers' and sisters' cooking. This place serves authentic food...period. I've read some reviews on this place and there are plenty that are way off base, the ones that say the food is bland and that they were expecting more flavor.
