Horrible first time experience. Decided to give this place a shot, came in and wanted to ask the staff questions regarding ordering. We were standing at the register and the guy didn't acknowledge us for a few minutes, then when he finally did he said what can I help you with, we said we want to place an order he said there's a kiosk right there- I won't be able to help you for a bit. First off, that's not how you would acknowledge a customer one, two we were paying with cash but he put a bad taste in our mouth we walked right out and went to the next restaurant. I was visiting a friend in Tracy and we had lunch here recently. Overall I liked my main dish but would get different sides next time. I went with a bowl and got the kale slaw base with chicken shawarma and tzatziki sauce. I really enjoyed the chicken, slaw and tzatziki with the pita bread. I would have liked more tzatziki to dip in. For the sides I got the Mediterranean Salad: Cucumber, tomato, mint, and parsley. Dressed with olive oil - this was just ok. Sort of bland. I also got the Garbanzo beans which normally I love but they were bland too. No real flavor. I also had the pistacchio baklava - this was delicious. So tasty and flaky. Had Yafa again after a while for lunch, and went right back in with the Back Home Style wrap! This time around presentation was much better and I appreciated the additional sauce on the side too. Ordered via DoorDash and by order arrived within 20-30 minutes. I also had the Build Your Own Bowl which also tasted phenomenal! The gyro here is a must have. As much as I hate to say it, I wasn't terribly impressed. I'm a huge fan of Mediterranean food, and eat it all the time. I ordered a lot of different little things at Yafa, and none of them really impressed me all that much. The hummus was surprisingly disappointing for some reason. The gyro was okay, but perhaps not the best. The falafel was okay, but nothing to write home about. Everything was totally decent, but nothing really impressed me. That said, the guys working here are really friendly, and I was impressed by how hard they worked. Ordered on doordash as a group order for work. I got to try the chicken shawarma wrap, 12pc falafel, pesto hummus and the baklava. The chicken shawarma was really nothing to write home about, very average and not extremely flavorful. It was also on the smaller side. If you're a fan of basic chicken wraps this will satisfy you, I wish the garlic spread was more evenly spread rather than just at the bottom of the wrap that you got to taste only toward the end of your meal. The falafel came cold and wasn't as flavorful as I'm used to either. Pesto hummus was also fairly bland. The one thing you should definitely get if you visit here is the baklava - the pastry was flaky and the pistachio filling inside wasn't overly sweet. It was delicious and my favorite part of the meal. Everything else was on the bland side (might be suited for the people in the area), but I've had better coming from the Bay Area. Will not be returning, but everything was individually labeled per our group doordash order which we appreciated. read more

I typically have to wait a substantial amount of time for my wrap when I come in so I placed an order ahead this morning at 10:50. It asked me when I would like to pickup and I chose 11, but was advised the order would take 10-20 minutes to complete. It has been 30 minutes since I have ordered and the order is showing to not having even started to be cooked. How can I pickup at 11, as you said I can, when the order is not even being made at 11:20? Order still not ready at 11:30. It appears ordering ahead may be even worse.
