Called to make sure they were serving French toast, since it was dinner time, although it is on the menu, and the girl that answered said "only if there's less than 4 items on order or else we won't make it." This place is a goldmine in the middle of Filmore. I would say it's worth the drive out to Filmore even if you don't have any business being there. Let's get started on the review! Ordered the Hercules burger. There is a reason why it's called the Hercules because the damn thing is so big you can use it as a spare tire! I literally needed two hands to contain that beast! I The beef is perfect because it grilled well and wasn't too greasy. It was one of those burgers that was messy and I really didn't care what I looked like while I was eating it! Sometimes a man has to do what a man has to do! My wife ordered the chicken kabobs with rice and pita bread. I love the Greek style kabobs because they are tender and full of flavor. The plate comes with a small side of yogurt that you can use to dip the chicken in or you can dip the pita in. The pita isn't like the stuff you get at Middle Eastern groceries, it's Greek style which takes it to a whole different level! It was enough for her to eat and take some home for lunch the next day. As it happened, another friend ordered a shawarma plate and I got to try that too. I have two words to describe it: a-mazing! Whenever we go here everyone is always so friendly. They carry a variety of dishes so I always go with the ground beef taco in a crunchy shell. It's nice when the waitress comes by to see how your food is. Make sure you have a dessert too. Great spot for lunch dates. read more

Driving through the town of Fillmore on our way home, we noticed this restaurant and the menu looked appetizing. Kids were hungry from a long drive. We drive to the drive up and when the employee was accounting for the food that we ordered, he touched all of our food with bare hands! No gloves! Nothing! When I confronted him about it, he said he 'Sometimes' wears gloves but did show he his bottle of hand sanitizer. In the middle of a pandemic, As an essential employee, this completely blew my mind! Always clean inside and while I've never used their drive thru it's worth mentioning for those In a rush. Price: average. For "fast food" I'm sure it could come off as a little steep. Usually it's around $20-25 for two people, then again the food is great and portions are Large! Worth the money! $$$ Food: 5 stars gladly! Omg it's good! This place May one of the best finds: their gyros are delish, their prices are good & everyone's super nice. My fave is the lamb gyro + extra taziki. This is a fast food place with a drive-thru. The menu is extensive, with Greek and Mexican items on it (something that makes me a bit leery). I moved ahead with a charbroiled burger and fries. At the window, a sign promoted ranch dressing for .55 cents. My interest was piqued and I bought. The burger was very good and on par with Carls Jr's wonderful charbroiled burgers. Their fries are much better than Carls new natural fries though. I dipped in the homemade ranch dressing. It was wonderful. The dressing was very buttermilky and smooth, definitely not from a bottle. Bottom Line: Great little mom and pop burger shop I was heading back from a race over in Gorman and saw this spot and thought it would be the perfect place to stop to support my post-race burger tradition. I ordered a burger meal and sat down outside to enjoy the weather. My food was brought out by a very nice lady who was professional and friendly. It's an easy place to stop if you are driving along the 126--a total greasy spoon. The menu is huge! They have everything from burgers, to gyros, to salads, to tuna melts, omleettes and pancakes. I had the gyro dinner plate. Comes with tons of meat, 4 pieces of pita, lots of mushy gross rice, some red onion & tomato. Plus some lemon chicken & rice soup on the side. The meat was pretty greasy, my favorite parts are the crunchy pieces :) The lemon rice soup is nice, I took it home and ate it later. There's plenty of chicken in it. Overall it's ok, easy and quick if you are passing by on a drive. read more

I wish I was giving this place more stars because the food was delicious. I went with three friends and we both loved our food, however it was not the food we had ordered. My friend ordered a bbq pork sandwich and she received a chicken sandwich. I ordered a bacon avocado burger and they forgot my avocado! Their customer service was awful. When I got to the window they had to re-ask me what I had ordered and they still got it wrong! They also knew they forgot my avocado because through the window I heard them say wait this burger has avocado i think we gave her the wrong one, but they didnt do anything about it. I wouldve asked for our correct order but the wait was like 20 minutes and we were the only car of 2 in the drive thru. The food is really good, but the service is not. read more

Pandemic or not the quality of the food should never go down. This is by far the worst burger I have ever tasted in my life. There's a difference between a juicy burger and a wet soggy burger. Stopped in for some dinner on our way back to Bakersfield from a weekend in Ventura. This is a gem in Fillmore! Generous portions and very reasonable pricing. The mixture of options is also awesome for parties with different tastes. They had Mediterranean options I wanted, a burger for the boyfriend, and a chicken club for our friend.
