Can I give this 6 or 7 stars? We go to an event in a nearby hotel every year, and we intend to go back to this place every year. The Dolmades were superb. The gyros was as well. We got the greek fries, which are a delightful combination of french fries, feta, tzatsiki and spices. The feta is very smooth and the spices give it a nice bit of heat. The hummus was a little on the bland side, but still tasty. The service was amazing, the guy working the front was very friendly and efficient. This is a great place. read more

For starters we had the feta and olives it included cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, a small amount of onions, and a olive oil drizzle and side of pita all for $5.99 and the portion was large. For the meal we got one $14.99 dinner special I choose the dolmadaka, gyro with beef, and it came with dessert too (Walnut Baklava). Husband got a beef platter with grilled veggies and rice. All the food was on point!!! Large portions, fresh ingredients and well seasoned. The owners were amazing and very friendly. They had customers coming in for orders while we were there. This is hands down one of the best Greek food places I've ever tried. I stumbled upon this place on my way to training at a nearby company. Their prices are very fair and the garlic cream sauce is out of this world. The Walnut baklava was also incredible. I'm sad I can't come back after I leave, especially after speaking with the very nice and passionate owners. It's definitely a gem that's run by a nice family. Check them out! This place is great! I ordered the dinner special, thinking I was really hungry. HA! It comes with appetizer (which I wrongly assumed would be a smaller portion & not a full app), entrée & dessert. The entrée was a full gyro platter (lots of other choices) & baklava. I ended up taking enough home for at least two more meals. So, portions are massive. Taste was very good. This is my favorite Greek place ever and I haven't even been to the restaurant (takeout 4 lyfe). I always get the same thing: a gyro with no onion and Greek fries. These Greek fries are so good you'll probably cry. I remember the first time I almost did when I realized this place wasn't open on Sundays. The gyro is the best I've ever had. The addition of banana peppers really gets me, so much so that I'm in Vegas right now and I don't even want to get Greek because I know it won't compare. Yappy is just my place. This place was fantastic. We were driving by and traffic was sort of slow, so we decided to grab dinner! Upon arrival we were immediately greeted and asked to choose a seat. We spent a few moments perusing the menu (it is a really well rounded menu), and then placed an order. We shared some hummus and got regular pitas with Greek fries. I had a falafel pita. The falafel were crispy and herby and perfect. You know how sometimes you get falafel and all you taste is oil? With these you taste the actual falafel! The veggies were super fresh and bright. Adrienne had the chicken, and it was really good as well. We should have shared an order of the Greek fries, and will next time. They are very well dressed and the serving size is generous. I am taking home hummus for lunch tomorrow. It's the best hummus I have found in Columbus! Gotta say, this place was really good! read more

Loved this place. We had the amazing Coconut Shrimp (best I've ever had). The Fish and Chips were also amazing. Usually f&c are either bland or to greasy, these were light and flavorful. Came in on a weekday evening ordered the shawarma salad (regular size) and friend ordered gyro with a large side of fries. Food came out at different times and the waitress forgot to bring me water. For the gyro/fries, the fries were definitely not a large size. Then she brought my salad and apologized that it was a large by mistake. The salad also had no dressing on it, so that wasn't great. Last straw the bill comes and she billed me for the larger salad that THEY mistakenly gave me, not what I had ordered. I was with friends and didn't want to cause a scene over the difference. I was in this part of town on business and happened upon the Yappy Greek. Based on the number of patrons at an out of the way location, i figured it must be good and stopped in for lunch. I was definitely not disappointed. The owner, Alex, introduced himself when I walked in and asked me what I wanted to order. I just left it up to him and ended up with a gyro and the most amazing fries with some type of hot meat sauce on them and a feta cheese sauce. The gyro was excellent as well, all of the toppings were very fresh and the meat was delicious. My waitress was very friendly (great smile) and her service was excellent. It was clear that there were a lot of regulars based on the friendly banter between them and the staff. I'll definitely be back! Maybe next time I'll even look at the menu! read more

This place was really good. Went here with my family in the middle of the day during during the week. The food was very good, fresh, and flavorful. I am tempted to go with 3 stars for 2 reasons: 1. The Decor is cheap and outdated. 2. It was hovering around 45 degrees when we walked in and they didn't have the heat on. It was very cold inside. Great place to grab a quick to go lunch if you work in this area. Friendly and prompt service with an owner and staff that clearly take pride in serving a quality product in a rapid fashion! The food is really good. The gyro is one of the best I've ever had, one addition that I have never seen is the addition of banana peppers which to me was great. Had the Shawarma wrap once and I would absolutely recommend it! Had the Greek fries after reading the reviews on here and seeing photos. To me I would pass on them in the future they weren't bad or anything just not my thing. The baklava was REALLY good so don't pass on dessert. All in all don't pass this place up. The Greek salad with grilled salmon is my favorite. I order this for pick up once a week, sometimes twice. Very well seasoning on the grilled salmon over very fresh veggies. I've also tried the gyro which I highly recommend. Coconut shrimp is a favorite for my wife. I highly recommend the soups as well. There are a lot of great Greek restaurants in Columbus. The gentleman working behind the counter was super friendly and helpful with guiding me through the menu. He got me a refill, brought me extra napkins, and was very engaging in conversation but knew when to let me eat. He turned out to be the owner and he gave me a free baklava for it being my first time and I'd assume because I let him know I work in the restaurant industry as well. Since I started my new job I'm having fun exploring places near my office that I've been wanting to try but never seemed to be in that particular area. Today I was feeling Greek so I opened up my trusty Yelp app and lo and behold this pops up. After perusing the various reviews I decided this was the place I was going to go visit. This isn't a very big place and after I picked my table the place started feeling up fast. The people who work in this restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. It's your usual white and blue Grecian decor. The prices are very reasonable and you can choose from the normal Mediterranean to American subs and sandwiches. I ordered combo 1 with the beef/lamb gyro and fries. Be prepared to get a bunch as they are more than generous with their helpings. The fries are perfectly crisp and seasoned and the gyro is huge and it's innards just keep falling out since there's so much of it. It's my new favorite Greek place and now I know why it fills up so quickly. If you haven't been it's worth the trip. read more
