Yardhouse is good for a drink and some easy hot food. It's FIFA time and the play the U.S.A and Mexico games with loud audio. The beer is cold and the drinks are poured nice. The food is hot, the service is great. I recommend Yardhouse.

Kids steak and salad. I like that the steak turned out a true medium when I asked for medium, instead of turning out medium well.

I had a good time ! I came late so they had a late night happy hour. $2 off my cocktail. They have an amazing happy hour though Mon-fri 3-6. I got the ahi tuna appetizer . It was delicious. I really enjoyed the sauce and I like that they had ginger and tomato garnish under it and some radish pieces. I thought it was overall really good and I like the thickness of it. It wasn't too thick. It wasn't too thin and then I also ordered the lavender lemon drops and that was a pretty good drink. It comes with Tito's vodka, which I like and it was a nice refreshing cocktail. My son ordered the sliders and for a kids portion. It was pretty big came with french fries pickles and he seems to like them.

It's not very often you get to wind down for some Yard House mid week, so when my daughter wanted to treat me, I gladly accepted. Even on a random Wednesday Yard House was still alive, fortunately my daughter had arrived a bit earlier so we didn't have to wait to be seated. Our waiter was all business, but he was polite. Being that I was at Yard House, of course I would be unable to continue the evening without first starting out with an order of the spicy garlic edamame Such a simple appetizer but always very tasty. For my meal I thought I would try a new item on the menu, the Twisted Fettuccine Alfredo. I also made a small alteration and added chicken and shrimp. Everything was cooked really well. The pasta, shrimp and chicken were all of good quality, but I felt as if the flavor just wasn't there. Very neutral and rather plain. To end the night, I of course could not leave without a final order of the cheesecake brûlée, which was fantastic.

The staff here is hands-down the best I've experienced at any Yard House, and honestly some of the best I've seen at this level of dining. From start to finish, every interaction was exceptional. We chose to sit at the bar since we enjoy seeing what drinks others are ordering and asking questions about anything that catches our eye. The bartenders were fantastic knowledgeable, approachable, and happy to answer questions. At one point my wife needed to use the restroom, and they even offered to walk her over so she wouldn't miss it, which was a really thoughtful touch. We ordered the queso dip during happy hour, and as usual, Yard House's happy hour menu did not disappoint. It's generous, well-priced, and hard to go wrong with. Overall, an outstanding experience driven by truly great staff.

We recently dined in for the first time. Yard House has been in Bakersfield for about 5yrs and even though I probably pass this place almost everyday I never made it out til recently. I didn't know what to expect when coming in because I figured it's gonna be a similar atmosphere like the neighboring restaurants and it was. They have music playing overhead kind of loud, but I'm all for it. They're rocking out to a lot of 90s R&B so I can definitely get down with that . Service was okay. The staff was nice, we didn't interact with staff a whole lot, but our experience was still great. The restaurant is clean which is a plus! I also didn't really know the types of food on their menu, but I did notice they have a lot of Asian menu items which was up my alley haha. My husband always tells me I always pick Asian restaurants hence the fact that I'm Asian, but it's not true.... I like all kinds of places. I definitely wanna try other things on their menu. So far from everything I have tried, I haven't eaten anything I didn't like. I'm actually impressed I have liked everything here which is very rare. I plan to come back and try other items here. If you haven't tried them out yet, I recommend you check them out for yourself! :-)

I always loved Yard House I think it's the best option to go to if you're deciding where to eat near riverwalk. I've always had excellent customer service , especially today our server was so sweet and patient with us and she even brought us refills on drinks even when we didn't ask, brought multiple dipping sauces for us to try, and always checked on us but not too much. The food is amazing. Their Mac and cheese is so flavorful. Their alcoholic drinks are always top tier. I just have nothing negative to say. Even paying is easy for not only us but the servers as well. Will always keep coming back.

We stopped by on a Sunday evening with a group of six. Ruby, the hostess, warmly greeted us and added us to the waitlist. She estimated a 30-minute wait for a table, which was quite accurate. After a few minutes Kirsten greeted us. She informed us that our server was busy but they worked as a team so she would get us started. Kirsten was incredibly friendly and promptly brought our drinks. Not long afterwards Holly, our server, arrived to take our food orders. She was just as pleasant and efficient. We kicked things off with the spicy edamame, which is a must for our group. Perfect level of heat, super flavorful, and gone way too fast. I opted for a smoked old fashioned cocktail, which is my go-to drink when I'm not trying one of their many draft beers. For my main course, I decided to try the bleu and bacon burger. It was exactly as described. The meat was cooked to my desired temperature, and the bacon was crispy. The only downside was that my vegetarian friend ordered Gardein wings but received chicken instead. This has unfortunately happened to her multiple times at this restaurant. She now makes me try her food first whenever we dine here to ensure she's doesn't get meat on accident. All that said, solid service, great drinks, and food that keeps us coming back. Just hoping they tighten things up a bit on the vegetarian orders.

    Happy Hour!

Tip! Join the wait list on the app for minimal waiting. I was going in the middle of Happy Hour, joined the waitlist from my house(takes 23 min to get there) table was waiting for us as soon as we walked in, and there were so many people waiting. Its giving Landrys member vibes... Anyway. Went for the half price appetizers and pizza amd of course the gluten free options for the kiddo. Our waitress name was Lyric, how precious is that? I asked her for the best pizza and she suggested the Mushroom Truffle! Lyric is the goat! It was an amazing pizza. The crust was thin and crisp, mushrooms delicious and that truffle sauce, chefs kiss. The poke nachos always hits, freshest ingredients, never disappoints. The hummus was nice and flavorful but I would ask for the pitas to maybe be a but more crisp as they seemed a bit more soft and chewy than I like. The kid loves her gluten free burger and fries and of course a 1.99 ice cream sunday. She's a sucker for ice cream. The atmosphere waa lively with a mix of people from all walks of life. Music and videos played, sports were playing. There really is something for everyone. I volunteer to Yardhouse with you anytime!!

I come to yard house often, this time I decided to try something new. The food came out quickly as always no matter how busy it is! It was hot and delicious, my boyfriend and I were very happy with our meals. We had two servers as one was taking their break when we got sat, they were both helpful and attentive. Always a good time when I come!

Yard House continues to meet our expectations with food, service, and mood. Treated my family to a nice dinner and were told that it would be a 15 minute wait which isn't bad at all! However, to our surprise, our table was ready within a minute or so. It was Oktoberfest and so I urged my brother to try one of the Oktoberfest beers! He was able to try most of them and liked the Weigen Festbier! For food we got the fried calamari and bbq wings for my mom, whiskey glazed salmon for myself, and the 8 oz steak for my brother. My mom loved how breaded and fresh the calamari was! The whiskey glazed salmon also tasted really good, it was soft and flavorful! My brother, who goes crazy for steak, mentioned that while the flavor profile was good - the steak was a little dry. However, the mashed potatoes on both of our plates were so so good!

Nobody plans to spend an evening in Bakersfield. You pass through it on the way to somewhere else…read more-- Mammoth, the Sequoias, the long flat grind up the 99 to Sacramento -- and if you stop at all, it's for gas or a bathroom or because your BMW's brakes have decided, somewhere around the Grapevine, that they'd rather not. Thank you, Weatherford BMW of Berkeley, for the near-death experience and, inadvertently, for one of the best nights out I've had in years. Stranded and waiting on repairs, we checked into The Padre, the only hotel in Bakersfield that feels like someone with a subscription to Dwell had a hand in it, and set out walking through a downtown that time has treated with more kindness than reputation suggests. There's a Woolworth's luncheonette still hanging on. There are old brick facades and wide sidewalks and the particular quiet of a Central Valley evening when the heat finally breaks. And then, on 18th Street, there is Tiki-Ko, and suddenly you are no longer in Bakersfield at all. You are, instead, inside someone's magnificent obsession. Tiki-Ko is a proper tiki bar -- not a tiki-themed cocktail lounge, not a place that bought some bamboo at a craft store and called it atmosphere, but a genuine, committed, floor-to-ceiling shrine to mid-century Polynesian fantasy. The carvings are real. The lighting is correct -- which is to say, barely there. The mugs are serious. There are pufferfish lamps and carved totems and the whole glorious taxonomy of tiki ephemera, accented here and there with a skate-culture edge that keeps it from feeling like a museum. It's reverent without being precious. The drinks are the real thing. Mai Tais built with actual orgeat. Zombies that earn the name. The bartenders make them with the kind of care and enthusiasm that tells you this isn't a gig -- it's a calling. They want you to be here. They want to talk about rum. They want you to try the Painkiller. In a city that most Angelenos regard as a punch line, somebody built a world-class cocktail bar and filled it with joy, and the regulars clearly know it. You will not plan a trip to Bakersfield. But if you find yourself there -- by mechanical failure, by accident, by the peculiar mercy of a bad brake job -- walk downtown. Find the tiki bar. Order a second round. Stay longer than you intended. Bakersfield has been underestimated, and Tiki-Ko is the proof.

Little hidden gems. Lighting is dark with bits color and neon popping through. The Bar Top curves around the bar- there are two booths that seat 5-6 and two short tables next to them- one seats 4- the other will comfortably seat two. There are a few bench style seating areas at the front with some short coffee tables. Think- skater tiki bar. The drinks were good- small menu if you're not sure what you want or are new to tiki. Both sides of the menu are the same menu. There are some nice mocktail options as well- you don't see that often. The service for me is mixed- it wasn't busy- steady but not busy- 1/4 full. I ordered two drinks to start for our table- (no cocktail servers here/not unusual for a small Tiki bar) I asked for a soda water- the bartender looked at me without a word- popped open a can of soda water and walked away. When he walked back by, I asked for a glass of ice- he said nothing and I got an eye-roll huff. I almost left. I don't think providing a glass with ice to pour your canned room temp soda water in, is too wacky an idea to be perturbed by the request. The female who took the order was friendly, smiled and was professional. We got a third cocktail- the Mai Tai. The grumpy bartender was friendlier this time. So, that helped. Maybe he felt overwhelmed and I threw off his groove by asking for water- then a glass... either way- being annoyed wasn't cool. The music.... Wasn't Tiki- it threw off the "Tiki Vibe" and made it feel typical small local bar that serves only Tiki drinks with some Tiki decor. It didn't take you to the land of Tiki- disappointed. Drinks were good.

They literally left no stone unturned. Every single corner of the restaurant is beautifully decorated. I do love the whole vault theme. It definitely just feels like you're stepping back in time. The food was fantastic. On a Friday and Saturday night, they offer a prime rib special. The plate itself ran about $52. But it was well worth it. The prime rib absolutely melted in your mouth. It was paired with a beautifully baked potato. It was also served with a side of horseradish sauce as well as Au'ju, We also tried out the brussels sprouts appetizer. They were absolutely amazing. Flavor was spot on. And I would definitely recommend it if you're just wanting to try something a little bit different. Our meal also came with a soup or salad. My wife opted for the Caesar salad, with house made croutons which she said was great tasting. I opted for the soup of the day, which was an Italian wedding soup. Again great tasting everything tasted fresh and was piping hot.

The starting point of any potential legal claim involves establishing the following: * Breach - When the bar's management or staff neglect to take sufficient precautions to ensure safety, especially when they are aware of potential risks, it means there was a breach of their duty to you. * Predictability - If the bar's management or staff reasonably could have anticipated the possibility of negative events, such as altercations or assaults, they ought to have prepared for such things. * Causality - If their breach to implement adequate security measures directly results in harm to you, the owner or manager bears liability for the injuries you suffered. * Harm - Genuine injuries or damages must be demonstrably linked to the lax security measures. In simpler terms, there must be a clear cause-and-effect relationship between the negligence and the harm you've suffered.
