Truth talk, this is my spot. I swear by this spot. Me and girl come here at least twice a week. The food, the drinks, the music...all of it. You CANNOT go wrong! We had a company dinner here and the service was horrible. I asked for a steak medium rare and they brought me an over cooked (burnt) steak and when I told the manager he started laughing like if I said a joke! At that point I wasn't happy with his customer service. When they brought over my plate everybody from out table already finish theirs. I was the only one eating. I told the manager I didn't like his service and then he got offensive and told his bar tender to try and fight me. At that point I had to ignored him because I wasn't trying to fight anyone especially during a company dinner and over some food. I believe this yard house isn't a good place to have a company dinner and this is the last time I ever eat here. I go to Yardhouse all the time with my coworkers on Monday night for Happy Hour. The food is good and the drinks are cheap. But Last night i had the stupidest server. Not only did she take forever to get food and drinks to the table BUT she over charged my card by $50 and didn't even let me know. I handed her my Debit Card to take care of my bill and was sitting there for another 20 min before she returned it. I work in customer service and understand that shit happens, BUT if your customer is sitting right there for another Hour you should tell them there was an issue. I'm not gunna get pissed and call for a manager because of a mistake as long as you had the balls to tell me. Yeah you're probably gunna loose some of your tip but in end its better then me calling irate to your manager. So here's my advice: Avoid Angela (tall and slender, with a short blond ponytail) the server unless you're planning on paying cash. Even then give her exact change. read more

Generally very good food and service, go for happy hour and improved beer selection. However, my last visit was not so hot. The check was high considering what I got, and the appetizer was missing 5 of its 7 ingredients. Did not send it back or ask for it to be taken off my bill because 1) I almost never do that; 2) I don't want them to mess with my returned food; and 3) if they screwed up my very simple order, they are perfectly capable of screwing with my credit card too. The place was almost empty so that's not an excuse. Therefore I consider it a deliberate act. Back to QC basics, people: if the kitchen is out of ingredients, the customer must be informed. Further, the kitchen and wait staff must NEVER send out an incomplete or poorly prepared order, and I shouldn't have to tell them that. It's their job, not mine. So I did what I usually do in these rare situations: pay the bill, leave a decent tip, don't complain at the time in order to protect my card, don't come back for a very long time, stop bringing friends and out of town guests, and tell everyone what happened. This place is a little pricey, and the menu is a little too big so it's overwhelming to try and pick something. For the most part, the food is great. I did try a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup combo and it was awful. The soup was fantastic, but the sandwich was horrible. I was so embarrassed because I hate sending food back, but the manager was so nice when my husband called him over. He took it off the bill and rushed me a French dip sandwich, which was fantastic! We came here right after watching a movie at Triangle Cinemas, which was very convenient. The food was pretty good, however the atmosphere was too noisy for my liking. The chicken mac and cheese was delicious, but the angel hair pasta was just average. We have been several times over the years, and the food and service are pretty good. I prefer eating outside as it is nice to watch the world go by from the patio, and feel a breeze. If the weather is cool, the heaters are lit, so it will still be warm on the patio. We have always had great service here - the staff is excellent and friendly. My only complaint about our most recent visit was the noise level. No seating was available outside, so we sat indoors, and we honestly could not even have a conversation. We finally just decided to eat in silence and run out to the patio to speak after our meal. This was a disappointment, as were meeting friends to catch up and chat. I have never been to a restaurant that is so loud! The music volume was much too high, which caused everyone in the place to shout to be heard, which only increased the noise level. Our waitress literally had to scream in order for us to hear her. Not a pleasant experience! read more

Just got finished with the Chicken Nachos. Normally i would rate Yard House a 5 Star. But today it took about 15 minutes to get the Nachos as ordered, guac on the side. The only thing is the Nachos looked as if they were made by a 5 year old in a micro wave and then they sat for a half hour. Beer was good tho. read more

I don't know if it's this location or the yard house in general but I am not going back to this location again. Had a group of 5 adults. I ordered the ahi chopped salad and the blueberry crumble dessert and a mango beer. I ordered the dessert because on a Friday night you know it will take forever to get that ordered and bring out. Here's where it went south.....the server asked if i wanted the dessert with my food or after, I said after. After 40 min he stops by and says your food will be out shortly. 15 min. later he shows up with my dessert and says your dessert came out before di you want it now or later? I got pissed and was like "you're not really giving me a choice are you? He goes well you can have it later...i go "why when you are holding it right in front of me" I proceeded to take it and seriously was considering if this guy had a brain or not and a zombie apocalypse had occurred before my eyes. The dessert was awesome. 2 min. later the food came out. My ahi salad was horrible. There was soo much soy vinaggarette on it that it tasted like I was eating a slaw. The ahi was lined with spices that was unnecessary and gross. I literally ate half of a small and was done. As the waiter picked up our plates he asked if I wanted a box and I said no I didn't like it. He asked why I told him and the manager strolls up to check in and he tells the manager and he offered me another item and I declined as we were done with food. I wasn't going to take anything home at this point as I was dissatisfied. Here is the crazy part....he didn't comp my dish. It was a $12 salad with 4 pieces of ahi. As this was going down the waiter cleared my half eaten dessert we were sharing without asking. I was pissed. Another guest at our table ordered a chicken and avocado sandwich and there was no avocado on it lol. Defeats the purpose right? The other two who ordered burgers got it served on a tin platter which seemed chinsy to me...they cant afford real plates for burgers. Its a restaurant not a cafe. A beer was ordered that never came as well. In a long story short I'm never going back, the food took too long to come out, there were major messups, and the waiter nor manager seemed to not give a shit. No doubt by their actions I expect this place to go out of business soon. read more

Although it can be crowded and busy, this place has the best selection of beer. As a vegetarian, I also appreciate the number of vegetarian items and substitutions available on the menu. I don't care if I have to wait to get in... I come here frequently and I love trying new beers and food. Came here on a weekend during the day. The service was outstanding - we had 3 different people wait on us, and they were all great. Tristan was the name of one of the servers. Can't remember the other two names. The best things we tried were the Caesar salad and the chicken nachos, and they were tasty. My husband ordered the vampire taco, and did not like it at all. He just didn't like the taste of the pork inside the taco. Oh well, maybe he can find something he likes on the extensive menu if we come again. read more

Had a nice lunch here today. Summer salad with grilled chicken was very good. I thought it was a bit overpriced but I would order it again. Booths were comfortable with high backs, which I like... especially when there are kids right behind you. :) We went when it opened at 11am so the crowd was very small. Waitress was very polite and kind, but the service was a little slow. Perhaps because we were there so early? I had a chopped salad - very good; not what I expected - I thought it was half a head of lettuce with extras. It was chopped iceberg lettuce, blue cheese, bacon and other crisp extras with a really good blue cheese dressing. For my main course I had the 5 ounce Petite Filet Mignon rare which was actually cooked rare; the vegetables were a roasted broccoli (very different, but flavorful), roasted zucchini and a bacon smoked chutney-type of side (very good and I've never seen it before). For dessert I had a small creme brullee which had bakers chocolate on the bottom of it which was excellent read more
